I can't currently afford the apartment we would want here, but the leasing agents are AMAZING. Everyone here is friendly and kind and I will think about moving here next year.
The Montgomery is a very calm, well managed, and comfortable living for a home. I’ve only lived in the Montgomery for about 4 months and I love it, and the maintenance is very easy to contact and fast with fixing anything. Overall the Montgomery is very affordable and a nice environment to live in.

I have been living at the Montgomery used to be called Midtown crossing for 3 years. I lost my job and had a few things going on in my life management stepped in and allowed me to downsize (thank God) I love this place Jennifer always has a listening ear and always try to make sure the residents are safe and happy. Every time I need anything done maintenance Keep everything in working order . I love my home and this community! Never had any issues!! Boom!! Lol

Yes it's quiet, except for when the kids from the complex across the street come and loiter around. The security gate has not worked in a year or so and even then,it was broken every other week. Water bill is $80 for a 1 bedroom. It's allocated and I didn't pay that much for 1500 SQ foot house. The new management introduced a credit service that allows the payment history to report to the credit bureaus and two months later, nothing has been reported to my credit. It's $6.00 a month. .Management hasn't responded to the email I sent regarding the matter. And In remodeling,they seem to have put more focus on their other property across the street and decided to repaint this complex the ugliest color. The exterior was perfect before and one of the main things I loved. Not to mention rent has increased. This property also does random inspections of your home..which I don't get because no housing vouchers are allowed. It's been 3 years almost that we've lived there and I'm done at this point. The price is hard to beat but I'll bite the bullet and pay more somewhere else

I'm moving out due to change of work location but I wanted to leave a good review. I have the 2 bed 2 bath with a sun room and I love it. I loved the layout. My only complaints are the noisy loud upstairs neighbors that I got stuck with. And sometimes it smells like sewage. The trash overflows but that's the residents fault. Also the rent went up a bit?

THESE APARTMENTS ARE A FRAUD!! I MOVED OUT IN JUNE & STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY DEPOSIT BACK..NOW THEY ARE SAYING SINCE I HAD A GOT A TRANSFER IN WHICH I HAD TO DO BECAUSE SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY APARTMENT AND THEY WOULDN'T LET ME OUT MY LEASE I SHOULD'VE PAID ANOTHER DEPOSIT WHICH DOESN'T MAKE SENSE SINCE I WAS GETTING THE SAME FLOOR PLAN APARTMENT...I BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH ABOUT THIS FOR ABOUT FOUR MONTHS NOW WITH NO RESPONSE FROM NO ONE..I GET A LETTER SAYING I OWE THEM WHICH DOESN'T MAKE SENSE SINCE I NEVER BEEN LATE ON ANY OF MY PAYMENTS!! I've been living here for over 2 years now and I've never loved my apartment more then i do now! Ever since new management came it it has improved tremendously. The improvements are exquisite, I love everything they have done so far, and i keep seeing more and more improvements all the time! Management has also improved greatly, very easy to talk to and they are always quick to serve and meet your needs in a timely manner!

All new management as well as maintenance, there was a hot water issue. Do to previous owners, it was there fault. The new management will get things fix, sometimes it just takes a few das especially if a new part is required. Which would actually be the same anywhere you go. I have had upgraded apartment which is beautiful. It s pretty awesome here and everything is within walking distance. And bus stop next to the complex if you don't drive. I recommend it.

My roommate and I moved in April 1st and our apartment was a wreck! It had not been cleaned, broken drawers in the kitchen, broken sink in the master bedroom and the hot water was nonexistent! It took them two weeks to fix my sink and drawer and I had to constantly remind them. As for my hot water, it's been almost a month and this issue has still not been resolved! No not move here!!

As a long time resident ,I have to admit that the new owners are trying to renovate the units as well as the property. The complex, when they finish will be much nicer. I have faith that they will be much better than previous owners that ran the place into the ground. So far the new tenants are nice and you are treated well I wont rate the apartments until all the work is done. However I do feel I will finally be in a nicer place to live. The new owners are doing the best they can to make the place safer and get new as well as currant tenants the services they pay for. Kudos to the new owners as well as the management for what they are trying to accomplish.

So No This place is a nightmare. And yes the swimming pool has been closed for two years now. Water gets shut off with no notice. Children running around damaging things such as peoples cars. No adult in sight. Management says if it isn't on video nothing we can do. Even if you saw them doing it. Don't get me started on the mailboxes.

Office workers lie every time I go in to get something fixed. (oh we will get it fixed in the morning... 3 weeks pass and still not done). Come in home and no notes left to know they was in your place. Charge your uilitlies by spilting everyone in at building... Meaning their Is only me in apt. And the uilitlies $41-80. Dollars on top of rent. We pay pets control but they never come you get on a list and then they still don't come.

I have lived here Five years. I am disabled so it isn't easy to go looking for a different place to live. Nightly Break ins, The police are here everyday reporting Apartment robberies to apt staff. The property is nice in appearance. The mail boxes are constantly broken into they are now without locks. I have turned in 6 letters of 11 problems with my unit, still nothing has been fixed, However the apartments were sold to new owners that are making changes and cosmetic exterior renovations but ignoring the tenants needs yet they keep raising rents to a unrealistic amount for what you get as a renter. I have sent a certified letter to management for repairs to my unit and they declined the letter wouldn't sign for it. Last month 8 people were evicted three were disabled and paid there rent but they had a pet and couldn't afford the 350 dollar pet fee on top the fee they paid when they moved in several years ago. My rent is paid on time every month, I am quiet and take care of my falling apart unit. I do hope the new owners will eventually make repairs. But I don't trust management. In the years I have lived here there has been at least 15 different management teams and three different owners. Surprising how they treat the disabled not to mention the able renters here.

When I first moved into the lajolla Ridge now called midtown crossing the apartment was dirty and instead of putting new carpet they put hard wood floor, I have to deal with lots of roaches on the walls in the oven when nothing is in there on top the couch underneath on the couch hot to boil hot water and put it on them to get them off, sometimes wake up with bite marks all over from them, sheet rock peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. I wrote them a letter about my concerns with the apartment and to no avail management hasn't fixed it.
