Property Ratings at Florence Crossing
This place has been nothing but problems for us. Sadly we already renewed the lease or we would be getting out of here ASAP. The office has NO communication skills whatsoever. When something goes wrong YOU have to be the one to reach out to see if it is going to be repaired or when. This winter we were without heat for over a week, now this summer we are without AC for over two weeks. I do not enjoy living here at all. The neighbors are not that great and my car got hit in the parking lot while parked the property manager did not care at all! The best part was all of this stuff happened AFTER our rent was raised. Run while you can and do not live here.
Management never in the office, never answers phones, pathetic communication all around. Maintenance fixes nothing! Rent is ridiculous for what you get. During the snow this year, they never cleared the streets, sidewalks or steps! All they did was provide a bucket of salt by the buildings and instructed residents to use if they wanted to. When renewing your lease, they will charge you an extra $350 a month for rent. Who does that?!
Roaches, breakins, awful management, overpriced, rude. Stay away
We moved in on August 15th. The property manager neglected to mention the pet deposit and the fact that the "free month of rent" didn't include pet rent. Which they didn't hesitate to collect months later. Now here we are in November and we have had to clear out the kitchen 3 times so they can come in and spray for roaches that we still have. I also wouldn't recommend bringing a kid into this place. When our neighbor is not in his apartment smoking pot (you can smell it outside the building) he is having screaming matches in the parking lot with other residents. As if all that wasn't enough the rent is way too high for having no amenities and no washer dryer hookup. I guess they were nice enough to provide laundry facilities in each building that cost $3 per load. Avoid this slum at all costs.
I moved in a couple weeks ago. They just got done with the hallways and laundry is now in each building. I'm pretty happy with my building. All the people are pretty cool. I like the maintenance guy and the office is actually open all the time. The last place I lived I could never get ahold of them. So that's a plus. Lake is nice too.
I currently live here. The unit is nice. The only problem is Tenants need to walk or drive to a different building to do a laundry. There is no pool or any special feature. Which I don't really mind but I wish that there was a laundry room in each building.
