Biggest complaint is the lack of speed bumps (destroyed and need repair). People regularly go 40+ through the parking lot and around corners, twice my family has almost been hit. I watched someone run their car into the gate because they didn’t live here and got sick of waiting for someone to open it. Most of the parking spots are reserved in an attempt to make you pay for them monthly. Most days I circle the entire complex 2-3 times to get a spot all the way across the apartments and then have to carry my baby. No one keeps their dog on a leash and they are aggressive, overall too much going on to justify the prices.

This apartment complex cannot keep management. Every few months, there is a new manager that doesn't agree with information passed down through previous management. Additionally the complex has a disgusting roach issue. Although you are required to pay for pest control, it doesn't work AND you have to request it often. The grounds are dirty and so are most of the tenants. Do you self a favor and find a better place.

I have been living here for about 7 years now. My dog and I come to visit the ladies in the office and we love the maintenance crew. Anytime I put in a maintenance request it gets done in a timely matter. Also they have an awesome events team. They throw some awesome events for all ages and the for our fur babies. I would recommend living here for sure

The management is like most management. They will find a way to blame you and tell you to look at your contract. They are weak on noise control. Even after changing management. It's still the same staff. **Florence management encourages residents to bother the overwhelmed police with any noise complaints.** Florence never takes any responsibility. It's hard to reach security & get a response. But I have seen security patrol some nights. But the new management said that they no longer have a courtesy officer to help. You have to call the police. They add on charges for utilities. They charge for "trash valet" here. Even if you don't use it. So expect an extra $100 added to your final rent every month. There is a cockroach problem here. But I hire an exterminator out of my own pocket. So that has helped. My building has flooded twice since I've been here. Whenever the neighbors had damage, it affected all the connected units. The maintenance will pull up your carpet and plug in a fan (using your electricity) for days until they come to check if everything has dried. The management does not offer to reimburse you for any electric costs. Twice the cars next to me had its tires taken off overnight. They should work on security and broken gate access. You have to pay extra for covered parking. There is major construction currently going on across the street. So it's very loud during the day. Don't expect to sleep on your day off. Speeding cars w/loud mufflers on Westheimer & Eldridge adds to the noise issue. People simply slamming their car door will shake your apartment. These building walls have no sound proofing. I can feel and hear everything my upstairs neighbors do. MY WHOLE APARTMENT WILL SHAKE & VIBRATE. Please avoid moving into these shaky boxes! Update: May 2, 2022. My car got broken into. It was only a matter of time. I've seen other cars have their tires stolen. I asked apartment rude employee Kelsey if they had any security/cameras and she said no.
Whatever you do avoid this place at all costs....I just moved in a month ago and there is a HUGE RAT infestation that management refuses to rectify. I have recorded videos and photos of rats (multiple) climbing the buildings at night and the only thing that management continues to tell the residents is "pest control comes out on Wednesdays" the bait boxes looks as if they have not been serviced in months. My fear is that one of these humongous rats will jump on me while I am simply walking to my car. Do yourself a favor and RUN!!!

he worst living experience I had in 5 years and it started from day one. My upstares neighbors have 3 teens who treat the apartment as a football stadium and the running and jumping starts from 7 in the morning sometimes past midnight that I had to wear earplugs in my own place to mute the noise and the management answer was it's not our business from 8 am till 10 pm and after 10 pm you can call the police. So now I am moving out one month before my lease ends and they want to penalize me or make me pay the whole lease well their penalty is much more than my rent so I will be keeping it even after I move out. Ps talk to your neighbors since they told me that the previous tenants left for the same reason which was the noise from upstairs which was never disclosed.

I have lived here for two years. I can honestly say that the gates have worked properly for maybe 8 months in total of those 2+ years. My car has been broken into 2 separate times. both times i was met with attitude from the office staff and i was not notified directly that my car was affected. For the rent to be as high as it is you would expect to be able to feel secure with a working gates. often times when i came home from work at night i was not able to get in because the gates were broken and no one could open them. The staff is awful, petty, catty and unprofessional. And LAZY! I have notified them of people soliciting as early as 8 am on a Saturday and watched as the staff member actively ignored my complaint. The women who answer the phones are the actual worst. All attitude, no information or customer service. Maintenance is no better, I have requested to have a working fridge 6 times over the last 2 years and each time they fail to get the water dispenser to work. Now the water comes out under the fridge - i give up. I would not suggest you move here there are comparable apartments down the street with better security and working gates. And i cannot imagine any staff being as bad as they are.

I recently moved into this complex 2 weeks and my car has already been broken into! The staff don't seemed helpful and besides Jenny, they all give you a bit of run around and don't show any concern. I'm dreading the year I will be here. They rushed into fixing the apartment I was moving into with just a day before move in installed carpet which each time I step on the edges of the carpet I feel the sharp staples going in my feet. I told the leasing office about it and they said well to hold the carpet in place this is how the staples are designed, I said well can you add strip...I just find it hard to believe that this is how the finish of a carpet is suppose to be, that means all the carpeted apartments in this complex have this problem? Also broken bathrooom floor tiles which I informed 48 hours before I moved in and still not fixed. I am very dissappointed in this complex. Beautiful community but bad service. I know what's the response to this post from Bridges...sorry for the incovenience we are very concerned about your dissatisfaction blah blah...well do something about it instead of a reply to a message. Very generic.
The new office staff seems to .actually be making changes for the better. I hope they stay around and keep making positive change

I live in APT 437, the staff in the Office "Ashly" is so disrespectful person and she got mad at me just because I want to move out. They lie too much and play games to charge you the biggest amount of money that possible, and if you ask for the lease contract, they will kick you out or call the police as happened with me

Walls are super thin! Neighbors above me let their kids constantly run around their apt jumping up and down, so obnoxiously loud! I've gone up there over 4 times to ask them nicely if they could keep it down, each time they ignored my request and kids continued to be loud. I then got annoyed and wrote corporate thinking they'd help, didn't happen. Over the course of months, I just tried to ignore it but it continued to get worse. I then went to the front office to speak with them personally, I was told they'd reach out to them. Nobody is willing to help with my issue nor or they concerned about their customers living comfortably and enjoying their home.

Ive lived here for a year and a half and the new management is awful! completely unprofessional and unorganized. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner. They let ANYONE move in. I don't feel safe living here. They don't monitor anything within the complex. They are also very hostile and rude when you bring things to their attention. If you care about where you live and want a nice community to be aprt of these are not the apartments for you. do no waste your money
My mamma raised me not to say anything if I couldn't say something nice...so my review will be brief. I've been here for two years, though, and on the bright side, this place *used* to be much, much nicer and more livable, the clientele representative of this area of town, and the office staff reasonably adequate and passably professional, bless their hearts. I could only muster one star for The Bridges, and only for old time's sake.
Living here has been the worst experience ever! Neighbors are obnoxiously loud! Management is a joke! They are clearly incompetent on what their purpose is in working for an apartment complex. My lease is a couple months from ending and I am counting the days. Why pay $1000.00 for thin walls, stomping neighbors, and an unprofessional incompetent management. In addition, don't be surprised to see a drug deal taking place in broad daylight. Resist this place like the plague, trust me!
I have lived here for almost 2 years! New management has been a disappointment. Everything is wrong about this place. There is always trash everywhere!! Trash is left on the steps (bags), outside doors, in the parking lot. It's disgusting. There was a time when the dumpsters overflowed throughout the complex for WEEKS. Parking is another issue. I have a reserved parking space and when I try to call to have someone towed they are unable to due to the complex not authorizing towing at the time. However I am still being charged a fee yet others get to benefit. It's so ridiculous because the office staff is not proactive and does not care about minting good residents. The noise level is terrible with neighbors playing loud music and the ongoing construction in the mornings is very distracting. Maintenance request are hit and miss. Outside lighting has been out throughout the complex for at least 6 months. I don't feel safe here and it's just not a good place. Please do not live here. I am a big review person so I hope this truly helps someone else.
The place was good till the new management took over in mid 2015, now it became one of the worst places to live in. Bad maintenance service, Bad Management (Very rude), Old and incorrect Electricity meters (They refuse to replace them or even to calibrate them) so your electricity bill will be high, No longer secure.....If you want to rent in this place, then you will lose your money and regret.
The part mentioned is ok but the management is really hard to work with.
I am not pleased with the new management company that took over my apartment complex recently. There are numerous problems, the dumpsters were overfilled with trash for a week, the key fobs don't operate properly to open the gates and maintenance takes over 5days to come fix any problems.
I've lived at these apartments for 1 year. The place was great until new management took over. The pool area is nice with hot tub and gas grills...problem is, it's ALWAYS closed!!! Other review is right that it's going downhill fast. To me, when I rent an apartment, I'm paying for location and amenities. Every time I see the Pool Closed sign, I question myself as to "why am I paying for something I can't use again?" I can go across the street and get the same or more for my money. Thus, I'll be gone when my lease is up.
The Bridges on Eldridge is by far the best apartments on Eldridge. The rent is reasonable. The apartments are really nice and the location is great. The staff is great. The pool setting is beautiful and there's a nice playground for the kids. I haven't had any problems so far. I would recommend The Bridges on Eldridge to anyone looking for a great place to reside!
I have lived here for two years. The company recently sold and so there's a whole new office team. Didn't take a month for the new manager to quit. This place is going downhill very fast. The trash didn't get picked up for over a week and there was literally a mound of trash covering 3 dumpsters. Never heard a word from management as to what was going on until the day they came to pick it all up. There is no communication from the office staff. I have to include "please let me know you receive this email" in order to ever get a response from anyone. And, I was outright told that they don't have to tell us anything. I get that you don't have to tell your residents "anything" but I think you would want your residents to be happy to live in your apartment community, and if communication makes them happy then... The pool is closed because the city of Houston shut it down. The new manager told me she couldn't believe people were even swimming in the pool because the filter wasn't working correctly.. Which in my opinion means that it was a cesspool for bacteria and very unsanitary. Speaking of unsanitary, there are mounds of dog feces all over the place. I have been lucky enough to have not stepped in any yet, but I have definitely seen where people have scraped it off of their shoes because it's smeared on the concrete walkways. For the longest time my truck alarm would go off and I could never figure out what was setting it off until I saw the cats. Cats were setting off my truck alarm, and why were there cats.. because of rats by the dumpsters. I saw it with my own eyes, multiple cats hanging out by the dumpsters and I saw a rat run from under one dumpster to the other. It looks like there are homeless people living behind the dumpsters too, because there are mattresses behind them that have been there for months. The previous management staff would have made it their job to make sure all of these things were taken care of because they actually seemed like they cared about their residents and wanted them to live there. This new staff of people are like in their own little world as if filling apartments is their only task. There are plenty of other apartment complexes in the area, and I would shop around.
