Whether it’s the proximity to Columbus attractions or the suburban lifestyle, residents living in Strawberry Farms get to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Sandwiched between Interstate 270 and Alum Creek, residents of this charming community look forward to shopping, dining, and a movie at their local Easton Town Center mall and cinema. Unlike the name suggests, you won’t find any strawberries at Strawberry Farms Park. However, you will come across scenic landscapes as you ride along miles of bike trails.
In addition to being sixteen minutes from Downtown Columbus, locals enjoy convenient access to the international airport and Blendon Woods Metro Park.

Property Ratings at Forest Edge Apartments
I just signed my 3rd lease here with Pam and this place is just great. There is a nice dog park and we are in a great area that is so conveinent to shopping and almost anything you could need. Maintenance is quick to repair any issues and the onsite laundry room is kept clean.
After living at Forest Edge Apartments for one year, I found it necessary to take the time to review my experience so far. I am very pleased with the work Pam (Property Manager) does for her residents. Pam is extremely professional and very helpful with any maintenance request I’ve had. Any repair I have needed done has been handle within 24 hours, which is excellent! I am thankful to have a PM who I trust and who communicates well. The area is quite nice. It is filled with huge trees and located in a small neighborhood called Strawberry Farms. It is mostly residential with a few apartment complexes and good sidewalks. It is definitely safe. I’ve had no issues with sketchy business or excessive noise. I love that Forest Edge Apts is so close to Easton, the highway, and a few metro parks. The units are not modern, which I am okay with. I live in a studio which is a great starter place for me. It is minimal and basic, but comfortable. I have not been in the 1BR or 2BR units. The laundry facilities is well maintained. There have been a few machines out of order but not very often. Also, I like that there is a dog park even though I do not have an animal. Overall, 5 stars for a great year living at Forest Edge Apartments!
I had hardly any issues living here in the year that I did. My move in/out experience went smooth!!! If something in the unit needed attention it was done in a timely fashion. Pam is great about responding with well detailed professional emails! The only reason I moved out was bc I moved to another state.

We are very pleased to know everything went smooth. If you decide to move back to OHIO keep us in mind :)
I left here in 2018 after two years. The long story short is this is a mixed bag apartment complex. If you are solo and just starting out in life, simply trying to re-establish yourself, or are a low-maintenance couple, this is a great place for you to consider. The rent is very affordable, it is super close in location to both Easton and the Ohio 161/I-270 intersection, and there is very nice management in place. Crime is extremely minimal; not once did I ever feel unsafe living here. On the downside, if you're seeking something modern or spacious, and/or have kids, this may not be a fit. The units are circa late 1970. While current management is refreshing units as tenants come and go, they cannot fix the design, which can leave you cramped - especially a small kitchen with a one-tub sink, little counter space, no dishwasher, and a very small stove for cooking. You do feel like you're on top of one another. Also, a prospective tenant may wish to consider enrolling in an electric bill budget. There is no central air, and the motel-style heating/AC wall unit will not reach the entire apartment, especially the kitchen and bedroom, potentially leading to high seasonal electric bills. The water heater is also a half-unit, not full-sized, and can be hard-pressed to support a multi-person living arrangement. This is not the worst place to live, but not the best place, and your life situation alone will tell you if an apartment here is worth considering or not.
I moved into these apartments and after specifically asking, I was told there were no bugs besides the occasional spider bc of the "mature trees". Since day one of moving in I have been killing giant black ants, centipedes, and other random insects. The foundation is not sealed well. Walking around the apartment now, I can see many cracks in the foundation and areas where the front door is not sealed. Also, there's literally a closet in the kitchen, and inside this closet there is a door leading to the outside and it is not even on the hinges. Just falls off when you touch it. I can see the area under the foundation through this door and there's nothing but dirt and I'm sure this is a major source for bugs. I told the leasing office about this the day I moved in, it was never fixed. I told them about the bugs, no exterminator was sent. I truly do not like bugs which is why prior to signing the lease I asked if there were any problems. Obviously I was lied to. I had to spend my own money to buy home defense bug spray but it doesn't seem to be working. I also had to spend my own money for an intense carpet cleaning bc it had a very strong odor of cat urine when I moved in. I'm really disgusted. I wish I had spent more time looking for a better apartment.

My experience with Pam, the apt manager has been amazing: she is very considerate, meticulous, and professional. The apartment that I rented is small but perfect for me. The environment is so quiet that I can sleep through the night. Also I can walk or run in the neighbor after dinner while listening to music. This is my favorite relexing time. The apt complex is surtounded by one of the safest neighborhood.I hove not met a lot of neighbors yet but I want to meet my neighbors. In addition, there are a lot of parks for example, blendon and sharon woods metro park which are within 10 minutes by driving.

We are very pleased to know you love your home! Thank you, Pam :)
I live at the F.E.A, been here going on two years now. E got new management 6 months after we moved in, it has been rocky going threw maintenance but that's not due to management that's due to lack of respect for the job title.. When there is an issue it gets solved quickly and performance is good as well. Not only is the management kind she goes over and beyond her job title.. If tenant's that have an issue with the rules out here then they should move, not talk smack online about it. Be a grownup and deal with it professionally and face to face with management.. We have good neighbors and it's a safe, quite place. Ya I get it, you want upgrades but don't like the rental price then move.. As for the roaches we had them bad, but once management changed who they have to treat our units we have had two roaches in 6 months, it takes time when switching management for things to get on a schedule. Please remember, we all have had to one way or the others start fresh, so does management... So I would like to thank the F.E.A management for a safe, friendly environment... Your tenant, Merrideth
I lived in Cleveland for 28 years, but moved to Columbus in 2014. Being a Browns fan (!) from a poor-weather area, I've been trained to expect the worst, but when I came to Columbus my mood improved. Why? Better weather, the Buckeyes winning the title and, most of all, my residence known as Forest Edge Apartments. The previous manager, Kim, was super-friendly, but the current manager, Pam, is super-nice and answers ALL of my questions (of which I have many at times, because things go wrong in apartments from time to time. It's just the nature of apartments. They have been super-prompt in fixing work requests, often on the same day. One time I was locked out and they were able to get me unlocked within 20 minutes. I've had lightbulb issues and they even installed them for me because I'm a big klutz sometimes. People say renting is hard--you are at the mercy of the landlord, etc. But in this case, it's also about maintaining good relationships with maintenance and landlord--they were fair to me when my lease was up and helped me renew it. It really is like being part of a team. Even though I miss Cleveland sometimes, I now call Columbus home. And unlike my hometown Brownies, the Buckeyes, and, most importantly, Forest Edge Apartments, make me feel proud to be part of the community. GO BUCKS!
Rent is pretty reasonable.... but that is why everything is CHEAP! I have lived in another apartment before where rent was similar, but quality was higher. Everything is so out of date. It is a single sink, and it is very shallow. ( so difficult to do dishes). For the love of God i don't even have a garbage disposal. Correction, my unit used to have a garbage disposal, there is an outlet above my sink that's been covered up by a plastic outlet cover and my circuit breaker shows "garbage disposal. So they were too cheap to replace. And if you have a phobia of bugs don't live here. Bugs always find a way in! Centipedes, stink bugs and ants all year around! When the sun is shining towards my door, you can see some crack where lights comes through, not cool. Now don't get me wrong the new landlord is actually very nice, who knows what improvements she will make since last management was terrible! So terrible that my last landlord typed up my lease and it stated my lease ended on 2-29-2017. Guess what, that date doesn't exist. And lastly, maintenance is very nice and polite however not very good. My sink was leaking and a part needed replaced, so they took used parts (from other empty units) and used it on my sink. I have an ugly stained used faucet and worst part he put my sink in crooked.. Yup, i can't make something like that up!

I'm so sorry, that you have that many issues in your unit, I (manager) was not aware of all that but as always please fee free to call me or email to do all necessary repairs. I will be more then happy to also install a garbage disposal, as that is part of our standard checklist. We are here to help and fix anything in our units. Thank you for your time. Pamela
I have really enjoyed the last year in my apartment. The rent was very reasonable, the apartment was in pretty good condition, and they always take care of any issue I had immediately. The location is great! Access to 270 and it's five minutes from Easton Towne Center. I haven't had a single issue with the staff or the amenities.
Admittedly, my experience in the first few months of living at Forest Edge was not the greatest. Since then, management has changed and there have been various improvements in the property. The maintenance staff is highly professional, quick, and thorough. Kim, in the office, is very sweet and happy to answer questions. The office is conveniently located on the premises. There is adequate lighting on the streets and in between apartments. The property is groomed nicely, and there are lots of beautiful trees and grassy areas. The complex is in a neighborhood of houses and other apartments. Lastly, the location is fantastic; 161 is just a few streets away, there is a beautiful park in the neighborhood with an extensive biking trail, and it's 15 minutes away from Easton.
