Forest Oaks Apartments

I have lived in several other apartments in Muncie, and this is the best by far. I can confirm what many other reviewers have already stated. The apartments are modern, spacious, clean, and bright. The number of windows and storage space exceeds the standard. A full-size washer and dryer in every unit is a godsend. Good neighbors and good construction make this the quietest place you will find. Mindi is one of the nicest and most accommodating property managers you could hope to encounter. The property is well maintained with a number of useful amenities. The value simply cannot be beat. I highly recommend.

I spent a considerable amount of time looking at apartments in Muncie before choosing Forest Oaks Apartments. I chose this community over ones with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The apartments at Forest Oaks are extremely well maintained, incredibly spacious, and close to everything. There are many mature trees, it’s quiet and has an awesome safety record. I wasn’t willing to throw away large and cozy rooms for stainless steel. I am impressed with the maintenance staff. Their response time is excellent. Apartment Management is usually very attentive and quick to respond- only to drop you like a hot potato after you’ve moved in. That doesn’t happen at Forest Oaks. Mindi is amazing, and this is true long after you’ve moved in. I am having a love affair with my apartment, and it genuinely deserves 5 stars!

Forest Oaks was by far the nicest apartment complex we toured when deciding where to live in Muncie. We were extremely impressed by Mindi’s responsiveness, commitment to providing a great living experience for tenants, and desire to improve the property. The grounds and amenities are kept clean and well-manicured. Maintenance is always happy to help and easy to reach. We took advantage of the fantastic amenities often and were always pleased with our time there. Parking is never an issue as there are plenty of spaces. The complex is quiet and includes working professionals and families. Finally, the location and in-unit washer/dryer cannot be beat. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, safe, friendly, quiet, well-priced apartment, Forest Oaks is the place for you!

Couldn't be happier with our decision to stay in Forest Oaks Apartments! Great apartments for the price and location. Quite. Safe. Great amenities. Management goes up and beyond, especially Mindi in the leasing office. You won't be disappointed.

This is easily the best complex I've ever rented in. The community is friendly, the area is quiet, the buildings are lovely, the units are peaceful and beautifully decorated, and the pool and fitness center are nice and well maintained. The central block is good for walking laps. Mindi is a generous and kind landlord and cares about her tenants, and is quick to help. I lived here two years and enjoyed every moment, and was sad to say goodbye.

I have lived at Forest Oaks for 2 years. It is by far the best place I have lived. It’s a great community, close to several grocery stores, and multiple restaurants. The pool and gym area are very well maintained. The property manager, Mindi, is very good at getting any issues taken care of quickly. I would recommend Forest Oaks to anyone looking for a place to live in Muncie!

I enjoyed my time at Forest Oaks. I appreciate that the environment is quiet and professional - - no parties or excessive noise. Loved the full size washer and dryer in the unit. Nice sized master bedroom. The apartment was well maintained, loved the new carpet. Management and maintenance people are very friendly. I'd still be there if I still lived in Muncie!

I lived in Forest Oaks for two years and they went by pretty fast! I had no complaints at all. The property manager Mindy is very prompt at responding to any issues arising. I would definitely recommend Forest Oaks to anyone looking for and apartment in Muncie.

This is a wonderful community to be in. Close to all kinds of shopping. The exterior and interior are clean. Stays peaceful, even when everyone is home in the evening. My favorite amenity here is the gym. It has everything!

my company put me up at this apartment complex. i was a little leery at first because i haven't had the best time living in apartments in the past. these apartments are pretty spacious and super quiet which is a big plus. my profession is really hectic so that helps a ton. it's nice to be able to come home to mostly quiet. so far, i'm pretty satisfied. it's a really nice place and i would recommend.

This place is great and we love living here. Quiet and nice amenities. Everyone seems friendly! Apartment was almost like new when we moved in. Staff couldn't be better. Win win!

My husband and I have had a very good experience since we have moved in. We searched a lot of other properties before settling on this one. Mainly, based on the good reviews. The apartments are always well kept. We have had few issues since moving in. Maintenance always comes when you need them if an issue should arise. The office staff is always there if you need something and are always willing to lend a hand. Top notch! The exterior of the property always looks nice! We love all of the amenities they offer. From first hand experience, you can not go wrong with this place. Five stars all around!

Some of us that have been here a while felt the need to write reviews recently. I have been here since before the current management took over and have witnessed the extreme change for the better this property has gone through. Thanks to management! Before they got here there were almost no tenants here and the property was run down, it was awful. After they got here, within about a year and a half, the place was totally turned around and runs at maximum capacity most of the time with waiting lists. There is definitely always someone there all of the time to late/after hours. You can always get a hold of someone. They are very dedicated!! There is not a negative thing that any of us could say about these folks! We love it here and I know a whole lot of other people do too!!

I have lived here for quite some time and LOVE IT! This community is an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything is so beautiful that I feel like I am at a resort. The office staff is extremely accommodating and friendly also. It could not be better located and is in the middle of a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools. It offers amenities that most communities do not. I have known the office staff since they first started here and can not say enough good things about them. All of my dear friends that I have made here feel the same when I say that they are, in fact, some of the best management that I/we have encountered. I know that complaints are always addressed in a timely manner. Office staff is definitely always there and works well into the night on most nights and is there when they don't have to be, just to be accommodating.

I have lived here for a little over a year and I can't recommend Forest Oaks highly enough. The management staff is top notch and will help you with anything you need. It's a quiet community, which can be hard to find in a college town like Muncie. The neighborhood is safe. the community is well lit and I can't remember any incidents in the time I was there. This is a great place to live, and easily earns 5 stars.

I have lived here for a couple of years and wanted to wait to write a review to make sure my very positive initial experience lasted throughout my stay. I am pleased to say that my experience over the past couple years exceeded my initial. The staff is wonderful. The community is welcoming. The grounds are always nicely kept. Maintenance is always a pleasure to talk to if I have an issue. I did like and take advantage of the resident referral program that they have. It really helped. I toured a lot of places including this one and I am elated that I came back and they were able to pull some strings and get me in! I do not believe I have dealt with better apartment management before. They are easy to talk to if any issue should arise and very understanding. For that, I thank them greatly. If you are looking for an apartment in the Muncie area, you absolutely can not go wrong with this place!

I lived at Forest Oaks from 2018-2019, it was a pretty darn nice place. I moved to Muncie suddenyl and already had several other places picked out online to live, and when I finally saw them in person they were dumps and in trashy areas that weren't reflected on their websites. Drove by Forest Oaks and they were very clean looking and nice house style units that were inviting instead of a big complex, turned out to be best choice I made. Not sure if I got lucky with neighbors, but I never heard any of them. There's several other apartment complexes nearby, they posed no problems for me. The grounds were always clean, apartment was in good shape, bugs weren't a problem. The two times I had service requests they were taken care of pretty quick, management is super cool about everything and treats you like a real person. I always got to park almost right in front of my door, and there's always enough spots, just may not be directly in front of your unit. Muncie is not big enough that the location matters if you have a car, but there's a bus stop right by the area. I go to bed early and NEVER had a problem with noise, I was extremely glad for that. Right next to a Walmart for quick needs, and McGalliard, one of the main roads in the city. I'm struggling to think of complaints honestly. Would definitely recommend, easily one of the nicest places in Muncie.

I have been a resident of Forest Oaks for the past 2 years now, I don’t know if there is a better apartment complex in Muncie that offers what they do. Between the pool, the gym, the quite neighborhood it sits in, the staff being helpful with whatever situation presents itself and the central location to and from anywhere in Muncie in minutes you cannot go wrong with Forest Oaks. It was very well kept up all year long. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great, affordable place in Muncie.

I lived at Forest Oaks for 3 years. It's a great place to live with well kept units, good amenities, and a great environment that is family and pet friendly. I only had one maintenance issue over the 3 years that was fixed promptly and the management team is always helpful and pleasant to work with. I even recommended Forest Oaks to 4 friends and coworkers who have all moved in. I highly recommend living here.

Forest Oaks has been a great place to live as a young professional in Muncie. It is a safe, quiet, and friendly community. Maintenance workers and property staff are kind and seek opportunities to assist you in any ways needed. I chose Forest Oaks because the apartments are well-kept, reasonably priced, have in-house washer/dryer units, and you are able to have pets. I have lived in this complex for about a year and a half and have been very happy with my decision. Neighbors are friendly and I look forward to continuing to live in this community for a while.

I lived in two different units at Forest Oaks over the course of 4 years. The apartments are in great shape and are very well-maintained. I only had a couple of minor maintenance requests over the years, but the response from the maintenance team was always fast and effective. The common spaces (office, pool, fitness center) are updated and very well-maintained. Management does an excellent job of maintaining the building and grounds. The community is pleasant and quiet and I never had any complaints about my neighbors next to or below me. Above all, the management is great to work with. They are always very friendly and accommodating. All questions and requests were handled very quickly and professionally. In my experience, this is what sets Forest Oaks apart from other good apartments. I highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to live! Maintenance responds quickly and the apartment was always in great condition. Plenty of space! Very quiet - close to Ball State/Ball Hospital but not overrun with college students. I always felt safe and the staff was friendly and compassionate, worked well with me to meet all my needs. All public areas were always clean and I never had a problem finding a place at the pool. It is so hard to move! I would recommend this location to anyone!

I want to start off by saying I gave Forest Oaks five stars out of five stars. If I could give them ten, I would in a heartbeat. My experience there was the best I have ever had as far as apartment living goes. Their apartments are by far the nicest in Muncie. My experience with management was top notch. They are very kind, courteous and knowledgeable. They are always eager and willing to help with any issue I had. They're the reason I renewed. :) If you are in need of an apartment, look them up, you won't regret it!

Hating that I had to move because nothing I have looked at can top this place. Everyone is super nice and the complex is quiet, which I absolutely loved! The amenities are great as well! I will definitely look this place up if I am ever back in Muncie.

The staff has been very nice to me. They have met all of my needs for the apartment. If anything comes up, they are on top of it. I just love the location and layout of my apartment. I appreciate having the pool and workout room. I love the new park they have as I miss the country and it seems like I am back there for a little while. It is very peaceful, appealing and serene. The location is so convent for me as everything I need is very near. I would never think about living anywhere else!!

I moved here almost a year ago when I came back to Indiana after living on the east coast for many years. I could not be happier with the time I've spent here. Moving here from Massachusetts, without having seen the apartments in person, I was a little nervous about how things would work out. But everything about my experience here has been positive; I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say about this place. Mindi has been super helpful from even before I moved in. I have only had a few minor maintenance requests, but they have always been dealt with VERY promptly. Everything is clean & well-maintained. It's a quiet, friendly place. I'm moving to a new city soon for work, & I'll really miss Forest Oaks. I can only hope my next experience will be as awesome as the one I've had here!

The Forest Oaks community has been a great place for us to live for the past two years. The staff including managers and maintenance have been respectful and friendly whenever needs are addressed. The community is very quiet with no noise issues or complaints. Also being close to Ball State, not many students stay in the complex, so it is great for individuals with children. The complex is very safe with no concerns.

I was looking for a apartment complex in Muncie that provided a peaceful and stress-free getaway when I was home from work. Forest Oaks is well-maintained, any maintenance issues I had were dealt with quickly, the staff are friendly, and all the renters were pleasant. Forest Oaks is a restful haven and I always highly recommend them to any friends.

These apartments are the best in town. There are super clean and well taken care of. The staff are great and the office personnel is the best. All people are great and friendly. Next time I have to work in the area I hope I can find a place there.

Brian and Mindi and the team at Forest Oaks have been excellent to interact with over the last year and a half. Maintenance needs have been rare for me, but are always addressed with diligence. The apartment space is nice and feels homey. Definitely a step above the rest in quality. Units have been renovated as tenants move out, and I was lucky enough to get new carpeting, cabinets, and appliances. I can't imagine being happier elsewhere. Plenty of windows that let in lots of pleasant light. I agree with lots of the other reviews mentioning cleanliness, safety, timeliness, etc.

Forest Oaks was the first place where the management team was helpful after I had to relocate for work and they were a huge help every step of the way. During my time here, everyone was friendly and helped me every chance they got. The Maintenance Staff were very quick with any repairs and friendly too. The apartment was spacious for my girlfriend and I, the dog had more than enough room to play (inside and outside), and it was very clean too. The only bad part of my stay there was the fact that I had to leave for another job.

This apartment has been a sweet haven for me as I transitioned into my first job post graduate work. The apartment complex is quiet, well maintained, and feels very safe (single female). For the first time in my renting history, I have not once heard noise from my neighbors' apartments. The staff here are kind and go above and beyond to help out in any way they can- it is obvious they are committed to their work. Meeting neighbors has been wonderful- everyone is friendly and kind. I have found the apartment itself to be spacious, filled with light from windows, and have plenty of storage. I am thankful for a space that has become home for me in this life stage. I highly recommend living here!

We have lived here for a few months, and have been very pleased. We looked at many apartments around Muncie, and none offered as great a value as this one. Maintenance gets taken care of in a timely fashion. The clubhouse has a wonderful exercise room. I really enjoy the extra storage closet that is offered here. You just can not find that at the same price anywhere else! I highly recommend this apartment!

I so enjoy living at Forest Oaks. I have lived here for 3 years and have been nothing short of satisfied. The management team has always been so helpful and maintenance is quick to fix any problems you may have. Forest Oaks is quiet, and most importantly I have always felt safe here. I am a single woman, so that is a huge deal! I've never had drama or felt anything but peace. I'm so thankful for our staff - they really care about the tenants. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable, happy, and satisfied.

I moved to Muncie from out of state, and it has been a great experience. Mindi was extremely helpful considering that I couldn't come for a tour. I like the location and feel safe. This was the absolute cleanest apartment that I have moved into. You can tell that Forest Oaks wants you to be happy living there. They are really good at answering maintenance calls. I never have to wait long. Great place to live. I suggest it.

Upon moving to Muncie my Wife and I looked at dozens of different apartments; We met with the leasing representatives at each location and it quickly became clear that there was no better place for us than the Forrest Oaks apartments. From the initial contact the assistant property manager Mindi was such a helpful, patient, and friendly role in answering questions and showing us our options. We had friends that were also in need of apartments and they had something for everyone. The apartments are spacious, very well maintained and quite reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, tucked back far enough that there is no traffic but close enough to Ball state campus and McGalliard that driving time is minimal. Its great for serious students and families alike. If you are looking for apartments in Muncie this should be a priority to visit and consider.

My family has been very happy at Forest Oaks. The complex is peaceful and quiet with very friendly neighbors. We looked at many apartments in the area and these were some of the most beautiful that we saw. Our three bedroom apartment is nice and spacious and the school bus picks up for our son's elementary school just outside the complex. I would absolutely recommend living at Forest Oaks!

We have had a wonderful experience living at Forest Oaks Apartments in Muncie, IN. The staff is always nice. Mindi is the assistant property manager and she is one of the best property managers we have ever rented from. She has made the process smooth and made our lives so much easier. She even helped us get a rental house when we moved to a new city. She goes above and beyond what I think an assistant property manager usually does to help their tenants. While I was looking for a place to move in, the property manager Brian contacted me and offered me a tour around Forest Oaks. At first I was a little skeptical, but after seeing the immense joy and passion he had for working here, and the friendly encounters I had with some of the residents, I knew this would be a safe place to be. The management is always quick to answer and to handle problems, and are always willing to have a smile on their face. Anyone that I talk to that plans on moving, I always bring up staying at Forest Oaks. :)

Our time in Forest Oaks was the best we've had in an apartment. The apartments themselves are cozy and comfortable. They are also cleaned and maintained well throughout the year. The landlord is extremely friendly and was always willing to go out of his way to fix any issues we had. The area itself is great because its a quiet location tucked back away from McGalliard and Ball State. The area felt very safe and its always well lit at night. By far one of the best apartments in Muncie!

We moved in while our house was being built. I will say that it is the most clean, quiet and friendly place we have ever been. It is close to everything! They have awesome amenities. We were really impressed at how quickly the maintenance requests were answered. Take my word for it...it is definitely the nicest place in Muncie or anywhere around for that matter.
