Property Ratings at Forest Park Apartments
Forest Park recently went through a management change and has gone down hill considerably. It was a decent place when staff was on site, but now is managed by faceless, nameless people that are incompetent.
I have never bothered to write a review on anything before, but Forest Park apartments is the exception. I am proud to call Forest Park my home. The tranquil beautiful lush setting is my oasis. I look forward to the end of my workday anxious to come home to the beautiful surroundings. The office ladies are fantastic attending to your every need. People living in this complex are respectful of others & friendly. I feel safe with our 24 hr security. Love the pet friendly atmosphere. I give Forest Park hands down 5 stars. I intend to renew my lease, there are tenants that have been here for 20yrs. I love you Forest Park!!!
I have been looking for a home and not a transient venue to lay my head. Many communities are set up for concessions that promote turnover. Forest Park is a place the people want to call home. There is a peaceful and friendly atmosphere and people in the common areas are respectful. Everything is very clean and if you need something from the staff, they do their best to help.Everything in the apartment WORKS , maintenance keeps on top of it all and security keeps watch on our homes. Close to several restaurants in walking distance. I love it here!
Forest Park Apartments is an amazing place to live. I'm currently living in Arizona where there isn't a whole lot of green. I'm from central Massachusetts where I'm used to being in the woods. As soon as you turn the corner and pull up to this place all you see is green. When you're inside it doesn't feel like you're in AZ at all. There are trees, wooded paths, tons of shade (very important in AZ), old style decorations throughout and the sounds of the beautiful birds. All of these things reminds me of being back in MA. Living here I get the best of both worlds. More awesome benefits are rent is a pretty good deal. Utilities and cable are included and there is coin free yes free washers and dryers available on site if you don't have one in your apartment. The staff is also very helpful and nice. Whenever I've needed anything they are right on top of it.
That's right! The name says it all. Forest Park. Unlike other apartment that have fancy names like Tuscany and only the entrance looks that way the rest of the complex is boring and nothing like that beautiful location. But this one lives up to it name. Imagine living in Phoenix, AZ, everything you've heard is true. It's hot hot hot. Burning hot! A dry heat! Get the picture? Now after a burning day imaging clicking you little key faub, the gate slides open (I've been here over two year and never once has it been broken) and your view is like many others, covered parking on each side. But that's where we part from the norm. You see next to every single parking space is a tree. Not a tiny little desert tree but large hardwoods. Many are still young but others towers over the covered parking and you no longer see the roofs, but lush green happy trees. You've entered an oasis, you home. Instantly you feel welcome and relaxed. The worries of the day melt away as you slowly drive to your cool covered spot. That's just the entrance! Imagin what the rest looks like! There are several courtyards. Each is unique and eclectic. With very aged trees and shrubs, fountain everywhere, little critter statues, some hiding in the trees. Some difficult to spot, I don't think I've found them all yet, but it's fun and a challenge to search. If you're lucky enough you can get a ground floor apartment. These are blessed with very large patios with curved whitewashed 6 foot high walls , very private. The apartments themselves art not super unique. You can get at studio,1-2 or 3 bedroom. Some have washer/dryer in the unit other have to use one of several community washrooms. Get this!!!! Laundry is included in the rent as is electric and basic cable!!!! The courtyard that I live in is home to 25 yes 25 full size hardwood and evergreen trees. Walking from your car to you courtyard you can feel an instant drop in temperature. More zen is on the way. Winter in Phoenix is cool and inviting and every apartment has a screen door! For those wonderful 60 degree days you can open you window and front door and feel as if you're in the mountain with the sound of the fountains mimicking a trickling brook. Sheer heaven. Then there is the management. Three fantastic ladies run this place with kindness and are always welcoming. The maintainance, groundskeepers and security men round out a perfect crew. Come visit, take a stroll, once you do you will never want to leave.
Forest Park is a refreshing change from the corporate run communities in the valley. In walking distance of several restaurants, grocery stores, and a post office, this community beats all in Midtown. Utilities are included so it is easy to budget. The staff are top notch and truly care and treat you.with respect. The area is kept uber clean and well maintained. I am proud to call this place HOME.
