This place is disgusting!!! When I first moved I asked them if they had roaches and they said no moved in it’s a bunch of little roaches.I have so much screen shots of complaints I had between the leasing office of problems I experienced, I wouldn’t even let my worst enemy move here. Absolutely a mess leakage from the ceiling roaches not to mention terrible parking space it’s not enough parking for the resident who live in the freaking building worst experience ever in my life. Don’t be fooled. Run look for somewhere else.

It was a great experience overall. I really loved the floor plan and the location. The office ladies are very friendly and the maintenance staff was always very helpful and responsive. The one main issue is the roaches. I didn't see many in my apartment...as they were far and few in between. This is South Florida and escaping them all together is nearly impossible. They live in the palm trees. Then again, I was clean and didn't live like a slob. If you clean up after yourself and don't leave food out or store open food in your oven, you're fine. An apartment is only as clean as the residents that live there. The property management has made large changes to keep the place clean and weed out the tenants that are not keeping their apartments in an acceptable way. I lived here for nearly 4 years. I will miss my first Florida apartment.

ROACHES are in every room no matter how clean it is. Thinking of breaking contract due to how impossible it is to live in peace knowing I can open a cabinet and not have a roach crawl away or towards me. Absolutely disgusted with how many of them I've seen and killed. Saw one on MY BED cover when I came home from work the other day. DONT DO IT. Read other reviews and see Im not the only one warning you about the infestation going on in this place.

COMPLETE ROACH INFESTATION DO NOT MOVE HERE! Roaches in the kitchen in the bathroom in the living room in the bedroom in the cabinets EVERYWHERE! You can’t evn make this place a home because every time you put up something nice a filthy disgusting roach gets on it. And we are CLEANLY! And don’t get me started on the FLEAS! 500$ pet fee but 25$ months pet rent for FLEA INFESTED GRASS! Worst decision I made moving in these apartments. SPARE YOURSELVES. Current tenant Just killed 7 roaches !!

My unit was not painted prior to move in and smelled like cigarettes. I was told that the flooring was new laminate, it's actually chipped old white tile. Carpet in the bedroom is rustic with staples poking your feet. Old windows, you hear everything outside at all hours. Most importantly, the roaches!!!! The pool and neighbors are nice enough. Elaine is nice enough as well.
I have been renting an apartment at Forest Place for 8 months now. It is a step up from Portofino in Miami where I had a tiny studio apartment for $907. I now have a spacious 1-bedroom for $970. Since this building is from the 70's the apartment is bigger then the newer buildings apartments. Don't forget this is Miami! Although, it could be a bit cheaper due to elevators that are outdated and very limited parking. Every resident should have a spot but sometimes you have to park on the dirt if all are taken. Visitors have to hope they get lucky with street parking. The location is amazing though, which is why this building is great for college students. It is 5 minutes from FIU North, Starbucks, target and an array of restaurants and bars that are right here on Biscayne Blvd. The pool is big, there are laundry rooms in the building and a gym! Due to the convenience and amenities I will continue to rent a place here and can recommend it to others. Viva Miami!
Centrally located and quick beach access. Schools, colleges, parks, dining and shopping are all close by. The units are all recently remodeled with modern kitchens and baths. Many families, as well as students live harmoniously and play around the well maintained pool with picnic area. The office staff are friendly, helpful and respond quickly to any problems. I am glad to call Forest Place home.
