Moving in is a fun process instead of being stressful, and the staff here is incredibly kind! Maintenance is better than any maintenance department I've ever interacted with, and I'm already looking forward to living here multiple years

Best customer service out of all the apartments we visited in the area (10+ visited). Staff very polite and eager to assist, and answer any and all question. Can’t wait to start a new chapter at Forest Pointe. ***Will update review*** I highly recommend giving them a look!

I like the atmosphere and the community events. The staff is friendly and professional. Love the pool and bbq area as well as the playground and fire pit. Good gym. The lighted doggy pork (great for nights) maintenance is fast responding most times. Altogether I recommend these apartments, no doubt!

Great dog-friendly apartment. I have a large dog and was having trouble finding pet-friendly apartments that do not have weight restrictions. This place is affordable and has what I need. Their staff puts forth a genuine effort to make sure residents feel welcome and that their needs are met. Quick response time for maintenance issues as well. -Megan B.

I’ve been here about 6 months and am overall pleased! Especially with the office staff, they’re very helpful and responsive to all questions and concerns. It’s a very dog friendly community which has helped make me feel more at home, dog park is a plus (minus some owners who fail to pick up their poop). It’s a fairly quiet area which is nice and close to just about everything you’ll need.

I have lived at Forest Pointe for a little over 3 months and have no complaints. The staff was great from the start: flexible move-in, picking upgrades to apartment, easy signing, etc! I can see where some are upset over the old appliances but there are options to upgrade (we chose an in-unit W/D)! We live on the second floor and have had no experience with bugs yet, and the maintenance staff is great!

I moved in a couple of months ago and I love it. The community is really quiet and friendly. The walls in the apartment are pretty thick so you can’t hear your neighbors or hallway traffic. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. My boyfriend’s birthday was this past weekend and they left him a card on the door. They definitely do everything they can to make us feel welcomed. There are events they host every month for the tenants which I think is really neat. They encourage us to call or email them if we need ANYTHING. Definitely a step up from where I’ve lived in the past.

I really enjoy living here. The gym, pool & area are great perks. Maintenance is always on top of it!

My brother and I have been at Forest Pointe since August and we absolutely love it. We definitely feel that we are getting the most bang for our buck, compared to similar apartment complexes in the area that we looked in to. Everyone I have met - staff AND residents - has been extremely friendly and I love the events/gatherings that are held every month. So far, I have no complaints, and I am very grateful that I get to call Forest Pointe home!

I have lived here for a few months now and it has been good so far. I have brought issues to the offices attention and they do their best to fix it in a timely manner. If they can’t they are communicative about why and the timeline for addressing the issue. The dog park is a bonus. I’ve noticed overflowing trash as an issue but it mostly seems to be when people move out and it generally is taken care of quickly.

After reading old reviews, I can confirm that this apartment has made some major improvements to the building and overall staffing. I have lives here for three months and cannot recommend enough! Communication is great, staff is wonderful, we were offered so many options to upgrade our apartment to make it our own, and maintenance is so fast!! We received great communication from the start and are honestly heard about any issues- and the app is so user friendly!! Really happy with our choice, if’s a great location and so many amenities like the pool, outdoor center, business center, and gym!

I recently moved in, and before my move in day, the team in the office helped the process of getting this apartment so flawless. Any questions I had were answered within an hour over email, and were always answered with an understandable explanation to my questions! After moving in, I realized that this apartment is so spacious and is perfect for me. The Forest Pointe team definitely does everything they can to make this place feel like a home.

Forest Pointe Apartment has been nothing but an absolutely pleasure. The grounds are always kept clean and well maintained. If you have pets they are very welcome here. They have a large dog park that is always kept nice. All the residents seem nice, and it is a quiet community. The staff is delightful, they will always go above and beyond to reach accommodations. My wife and I have been here for nearly a year and are renewing our lease for the second time.

From the first day the staff were so sweet to us and actually tried to get to know us and made us feel welcomed the move in process was super easy and they keep in touch with you as time goes by overall I love this place and would highly recommend.

I feel at home with Forest Pointe Apartments. The staff truly cares about their residents from office staff to the maintenance team. You can tell they want you to have the best living experience. They have amazing amenities, my dog loves meeting new friends at events and the dog park is pawsome. I would recommend living here to anyone!

This is my first time renting an apartment and from beginning to being two months living in my apartment forest pointe has been amazing the staff answered all my questions about moving in and after move in they have been right on top all of my manteince requests. The apartments are super nice and you can’t beat the pricing just an overall wonderful place to be

The location and price for the units are very reasonable for the area. My biggest complaint is in the way the complex treats dog owners. Multiple times I was given less than 48 hours notice that my dog couldn't be in my unit between the hours of 9:00-5:00 so that maintenance or an outside company could have access to my apartment. The notices included wording that claimed the office wouldn't work with me or schedule an appointment so I wouldn't miss an entire day's worth of work. When I tried to talk with the office, they were very unaccommodating and unfriendly. Not only do I pay a monthly fee along with a significant non-refundable pet deposit (because my dogs "looked aggressive" in their picture even though their certified breed paperwork stated otherwise), they now want me to either take an entire day off of work for a 5 minute appointment or make outside arrangements. Along with that, they implemented a new program for DNA testing dog stool that ALL residents had to pay. Overall, this complex is people friendly but not a dog friendly community as they claim.

I am a new resident moving into my first apartment in august, and I can't wait! Anne the rental agent made my choice really easy and the transition really smooth as this is my first time moving out and was nervous. I am SO excited and want everyone to know that it maybe expensive, but the staff make every penny worth it and I can't wait to live there and keep renewing my lease.

As a single female, this has been a very safe place to live. I've enjoyed the community events held by the office staff. The two bedroom has plenty of space and it's nice to have some utilities included in your rent payment!

Dan (General Manager) and entire Staff are good hearted people, very fair and truly care. They handle requests promptly and also do the little things that count. Just a great group of folks here. Apartments have been remodeled inside creating a modern look and WORTH the rental price. I highly enjoy and recommend this community RG

This complex changed its name . It was formally known as Castle Bluff apartments. The roach infestion is disgusting and the will let families move into problem buildings. They will lie about this. DO NOT RENT HERE!

I have lived in Castle Bluff for 7 and 1/2 years, now Forest Pointe. It has been a great experience, the care, the staff takes with each resident. In my time here, I have enjoyed all amenities. The best are the pool, great access to city areas when needed, the new gas grills. It has been a pleasure knowing I can home and be in a quiet and safe environment.

Just moved in and the staff and the scenery are wonderful. Everyone here is friendly and beyond helpful!

This apartment complex recently went through a major renovation. Everything they did has improved the complex. However, I am severely disappointed in how they are handling their new key fob system. I went to put money on my laundry card today using cash only to be told in order to access the room that has the machine I would have to pay a $50 fee for the new key fob access system. Then I was told that eventually, in order to access any of the amenities (pool, gym room, internet cafe etc) you need the $50 fob. I was told eventually the keys given upon move in will no longer work for any of the amenities. All I wanted to do was put $5 on my card so I could do laundry and I was told that I wouldn't be able to do that unless I paid the fee. Seems a bit outrageous to me. Improvements are great, but when you make residents who have been living here prior to the changes pay fees in order to access things that used to be free to them doesn't sit well with me.

I will be here a year in July. I LOVE IT HERE! The apt I came from at 15 years SUCKED and I felt welcome from even talking to the leasing staff when I was shopping arouind. The grounds are kept up VERY well especially in the winter. Sidewalks plowed, parking lots SALTED. The maintenance staff is awesome. I never wait more then 1 day to get things resolved. Office staff takes you concerns VERY serious. Situations are resolved if not that day within 24 hrs. Close to the malls, several different stores. SO glad I was referred by a former co worker. Just updated out building it is BEAUTIFUL. LOVE that we have laundry cards and don't have to remember to get quarters. I have a one bedroom and am VERY happy I moved from apt complex that I lived for 15 yrs and went down hill BIG TIME. Emergency maintenance outstanding. Check them out. YOU get what you pay for and I want safety, peace, a lovely grounds and that is Castle Bluff~

I was working with Chris to find an apartment for my daughter on short notice due to being accepted for grad school at the last minute. Unfortunately Castle Bluff did not have a unit available that would meet her needs within the required time period. However, I cannot say enough good things about Chris. She was amazing - responsive, helpful and accommodating. If you need an apartment in Grand Rapids, call Castle Bluff and ask for Chris!

Castle Bluff Community apartment is great, well taken care of. The staff are extremely professional! Connie the property management is great,friendly and helpful. She made us feel that we are part of their family...... Thank you!!! Elise in the office is always a pleasure and always smiling and makes me and my wife feel like we are her number 1 priority! Elise always goes out of her way to make sure we are 100% happy and comfortable. Again, thank you!! Me and my wife have lived here for the last 8 years and are very happy living here. What a great experience we always have! The office staff and maintenance staff have been wonderful! When an issue arises they act quickly to resolve it. They are very customer friendly and courteous to everyone needs. When I moved here I told that I was having brain surgery in a month or so and that I needed a first floor apt. I got that and they put up a handicapped space for me. Whenever I go to the office that want updates on my health. I look forward to going over to talk to the ladies. I enjoyed myself with the grandkids at the pool, whiling sitting in the lounge chairs under the shade. They are looking forward to visiting me again and hanging out.

This apartment, within the Castle Bluff Apartment Complex Community, is part of a pleasant environment. The Complex grounds, drive areas and car-ports are all well-maintained. The community is especially pleasant when one takes his first drive on to the property and through the area. It is country looking yet is in the city. The staff are on-the-spot helpful and are quite knowledgeable from the administrative staff, including the Apartment Complex Manager, to the maintenance staff. It is easy to walk and amble around the grounds, as many do. There is a pool, a fitness area and a common community building, well-maintained, where the Complex staff have occasional events for the residents. All in all, a good place to live.

Great place to live. I have lived in these apartments for many years and the management and ground keeper do an excellent job. I have great neighbors.

These apartments are in a perfect location near great restaurants, mall, outlet mall, great school district (Kentwood), movie theater, grocery stores and etc. The common areas are well groomed. The staff is cooperative, nice, and professional. There is nice size courtyard with a pool, lounge chairs, and dining tables. The staff sponsors neighborhood fun parties for the residents. The staff is what makes Castle Bluff so special. The assistant manager, Elise, really will do anything she can to make sure her (past, present, and future) residents feel right at home. From working around my busy job schedule to sign the lease, to answering emails within only a few hours. The maintenance staff deserves a round of applause as well. My mother is a pretty assertive & demanding person, and the maintenance staff handled all of our requests (and complaints) with the utmost sincerity and politeness! I had a complaint about a stain on the carpet and a little dirt in the bathtub (probably from the previous owners moving out) and stated I would have been completely satisfied with a steam clean, however, they went above and beyond to replace the carpet and completely re-glaze the bathtub! The included gas utility was a huge selling point as well with these brutal Michigan winters. I can crank the heat & steam up the bathroom without thinking twice about a high energy bill. Only thing keeping this from a perfect 5 stars in my book is the location. I would like to be closer to downtown & where my apartment is placed in the building it is hard to get a strong TV signal through the antenna. However, I haven't even thought about it since getting internet installed. Castle Bluff is definitely my home.

Castle Bluff Apartment Homes are located near 28th St. in Grand Rapids, MI. They are back in a quiet area with other apartment homes all around. They have many pros including a pool, a gym, a dishwasher in every unit, a balcony and much more. The floors and walls in my home look very new and clean. My friends and I just graduated high school and needed a place to live, so we moved in together in this apartment complex. Considering I have only lived here for less than a week, I don't have much to say about it, but everything I do have to say about it is positive! Living on my own right out of high school isn't easy, but it makes me feel responsible and grown up. Winning free rent for a year would help me out tremendously. It would allow me to save my money that I earn at 3 jobs to put away for college next year. So far, Castle Bluff Apartment Homes have done nothing but satisfy me and I cannot wait for my future here!

I have lived at the Castle Bluff Apartments for two and a half years now. It is a quiet area. Very pet friendly. The staff in the office will help where ever they can. If there is a problem in the apartment, maintenance is there within 24 hours to fix the problem (depending on what is wrong). Often they are there by the end of the day. The surrounding area has shopping centers, a wide variety of restaurants, and recreation areas. there are museums and gardens not far from the complex. It has been a wonderful place.

This is a nice place to live. Its spacious and nice. The staff is nice, helpful,and cooperative! They have a lot of neighborhood parties and incentives. the common areas are well maintained. I lived here over five years.

I just renewed my lease again! I have lived in these apartments for 4 years now. I moved in, sight unseen. I moved from Kansas to Michigan and shopped online. I was pleasantly surprised with my apartment. They just recently remodeled the hallway, now if only the neighbors would keep it cleaned. They have been remodeling the parking lots section by section. I would highly recommend to anyone.
