Forest Pointe

Management is argumentative. Every time something breaks it becomes a debate where they deflect fault, find excuses, or try to push off repairs for long as possible. I’ve literally been told “that’s weird the previous tenant didn’t say anything,” when I point out something isn’t working correctly. For somethings we just ended living with them being partially broken because it’s too much of a hassle to try to debate with them to actually fix it. Overall, they do not communicate well (never hear a timeline from them, when they’re not deflecting l, they keep every response vague as possible.) Common area is a mess, never cleaned properly. They send passive aggressive notes to the entire unit, while ironically doing what they’re asking tenants not to do. They leave old broken appliances in common areas, or outside, for months to over a year. Management simply doesn’t know how to talk to people. Maintenance is nice but not well versed in repairs or issues—or are being directed by management to not fix things correctly (see how long they can get away with it being broke before having to fix it.) These are not “luxury” apartments as advertised. Walls are super thin (hear every neighbor convo, footstep, music, and plumbing sound,)paint is super cheap (rubs right off,) bath tub had rust that was painted over, ect. This also is not in Lake Bluff, it only shares the zip code with it. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued for false advertising yet. Also it’s cheaper rent wise to move to a new unit rather than renewing your lease. This has the crappy “landlord special” paint all over. Don’t make the move here.

We stayed in this apartment for a year before we had to relocate for work. Enjoyed the building and the office/maintenance is easy to work with and incredibly responsive. Especially want to shout out to Dan for all of his help/work

I lived here for three years, never had any issues with the management team who I found to be responsive and friendly. The apartments are a bit basic but the renovated units were very nice for the price. Great pool by the way.

I lived there for 3.5 years. The apartments are clean and well kept. Management is good and responsive. The neighborhood is excellent, very green and quiet and peaceful. I had no issues during my stay.

I made an appointment for a showing 1 week prior and when I arrived at the showing appointment I learned there were no apartments left, which I understand as it is a busy time for rentals. What was missing was any communication that the potential apartments had been rented, which would have saved 2.5 hour trip. Very poor customer service.

I decided to go with Forest Pointe in Lake Bluff because of their 2 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan. It is a great setup for roommate situation. The convenience of not having to share a bathroom , the low security deposit requirement, and its convenient location to Rosalind are the reasons I chose to go with Forest Pointe.

Well This is my 2nd year here as a Forest Pointe Resident , Its a nice & safe area. Management is Excellent , all ways there when i need them. Apartments are nice a cozy the perfect place to call your new Home !

This place truly feels like HOME! I moved here from New England and it is a great community. Awesome amenities and the property managers are the sweetest. The pool in the summer is a huge plus along with 24/7 fitness center.

It's a melting pot full of cool people. We've only lived here for a few short months but we already love it. Great for dog owners, the property contains a dog park as well as a beautiful pond area. The pool area really pulls folks in. With cabanas, plenty of seating, and a new fire pit, this area excites us.
