Salisbury, North Carolina, is a small city with a rich history and a community of Southern charm. Located in Rowan County, it's conveniently situated off Interstate 85, making it easily accessible from larger cities like Charlotte and Greensboro.
Cultural attractions play a big role in Salisbury’s identity. Lee Street theatre hosts a range of performances that showcase local talent, while events like the Salisbury Farmers Market and seasonal festivals bring the community together to celebrate arts, crafts, and local cuisine. The Bell Tower Green park, a vibrant gathering space in the heart of the city, is another highlight, offering locals and visitors a place to relax and enjoy concerts or public events.
Salisbury is also proud of its strong connection to arts and education, thanks in part to institutions like Livingstone College and Catawba College, which contribute to the city’s energy and intellectual life.

Property Ratings at Forest Village
I lived there for two years and had a great experience. My kids really enjoyed the pool and playing with all of the other kids in the neighborhood. The staff is great. I would highly recommend It to anyone Looking for a great place to live.
I lived here for two years until a new job took me away — it was a great place to live! Wonderful neighbors and super responsive office staff. Whenever there was a problem it was solved within a day. I will miss living at Forest Village!
Love it here! My very first apartment and I’m impressed on how great the staff is. I love my apartment and it’s in a good neighborhood with great people! If your looking for a nice affordable place to stay I would definitely recommend forest village!
The staff at this complex are super responsive. They are quick to answer phone calls and emails. They are quick to let you into your apartment if you ever get locked out as well. The complex is super clean! The hospital is near by and this is a perfect spot for travel nurses. Highly recommend!
The staff at Forest Village are very accommodating and responsive. They will go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. The complex is also located in a safe area very close to Rowan Medical Center and the Salisbury VA.
My wife and I moved into a 2/1 after our wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better first place to live. The apartment was clean and looked new. We were given freedom to paint with practically any color we chose. The staff has always been incredibly responsive, and helpful with whatever we needed. As it turns out, my wife and I found we were expecting and the due date was projected right around the date of our lease ending. Understandably, we had to break the lease in order to be settled before the baby came. The staff was very helpful and accommodating!
I was in need of a 3/2 for Jun 16th. Spoke to one of the staff in the office and she advised me it would be available on the 16th. I was coming from out of state. I paid the $80 application fee for both my husband and myself. We were approved and after all this we were told the current tenants had an emergency and the apartment would be available on July 9th!!! Of course I was upset and coming from out of town with my husband and kids we were not about to spend over a thousand on hotels, this was not our fault! When I asked for my application fee to be returned, they only gave me half!! This inconvience was not my fault! I should have received my application fee in full due to the fact what was promised to me was never given!! Time wasted!!!
From our first encounter with staff searching for an apartment through every contact since, they have been fabulous. We have always had quick and satisfactory responses to any inquiry or request. From the office to the maintenance staff everyone is friendly. Maintenance requests are responded to quickly and resolved. What sets this complex apart from others is staff who really care about their residents experience. The neighborhood is safe and conveniently located. I highly recommend the complex and its staff.
I relocated from a very nice location in San Diego, CA to Salisbury, NC, going straight in to Salisbury Square apartments August 2016. Never having seen my apartment prior to moving in, of course there were some concerns that I could be deceived. My application process was very simple, and it took me about 3 days to get my approval, I am sure that is because all of my information was coming from out of state. I dealt with Nicole and I must say that she was prompt, honest, flexible and welcoming, I absolutely love her. Being from a bigger city, when I finally reached Salisbury I was very uneasy, but when I got to my apartment, I was completely satisfied, everything was just as I seen it online, pictures, video and descriptions were met 100%. Living here, I love it, everyone is so friendly, ever one says hello and good morning, Management checks in, and communicates all changes and scheduled maintenance in advance. The maintenance team is great, very handy , knowledgeable and prompt. I absolutely love my place and will be here for a very long time. If you want to be safe, comfortable and happy, rent from Fisher Realty!
My wife and I have been here for a bit over 12 months after having moved from CT. We have found Fisher Realty's staff to be cooperative, responsive, warm, and generally pleasant. For the most part, it's been smooth sailing yet even when we've had to have a few things corrected, the process was easy. The landlords try to ensure tidy grounds. The pool is a nice touch, too. The layout of the townhouse makes moving in fairly easy. Our townhouse had fresh paint and has good amenities. The central air conditioning works nicely! My kids enjoy playing in the neighborhood and the neighbors are generally pleasant and considerate. We have good memories here.
Love the feel of the community. Quiet, clean, all tenants friendly. Great staff.
