Situated in northeast end of Renton, near Cougar Mountain and the rolling Cascade foothills, the Orchards offer a residential midpoint between rural lands to the east and the densely populated lowlands to the west, where the city of Renton stretches around Lake Washington to meet the south end of Seattle. Comprised primarily of single family homes, the area offers easy access a number of large parks and close proximity to Interstate 405, the gateway to the employment and population centers of the Puget Sound metropolitan region.
Downtown Renton and the extensive Boeing Renton airplane factory sit about four miles east, Downtown Bellevue lies less than 10 miles to the north and downtown Seattle is 15 miles to the northwest. The town of Newcastle lies three miles north.

Property Ratings at Forestview
Management doesn't do ANYTHING around this complex. They don't even work in the office. Ever since covid reared it ugly head they have been closed! They NEVER answer the phone. The only way to contact them is email. But they NEVER respond. Horrible neighbors, complaints go unanswered and it will still continue. Walls are paper thin. I actually heard my neighbor sneeze in his apartment! SMH. Neighbors are disrespectful and there's trash thrown everywhere. The only thing good is the maintenance. They are extremely responsive and fix things promptly and correctly.
BAD NEIGHBORS, NASTY CUSTOMER SERVICE, DONT LIVE HERE. The property is haunted, be careful if you decide to be apart of this whole in the wall type of apartment community. Management will give notices with no backing, graffiti everywhere, office still closed, don’t answer when postal service comes to deliver packages even though their in office NOT WORKING. change in staff like changing underwear. Beware of this place!
I live in a house next to this apartment complex. BEWARE! I don't know what they're like inside, but the place seems pretty shady. There is gang graffiti all around and the management is slow to cover it. We can always smell marijuana smoke. People don't smoke in their apartments, I guess. If you're ok with your kids seeing that or people drinking outside, then this place is ok. People regularly gun the engines on cars with bad mufflers. They do this at all hours and management doesn't care. We've called to ask if they can get repaired. Nope. Also, our local elementary school has low scores. Find a place with better schools. There are lots of apartment buildings for the same price around here.
When it comes down to choosing a place where I can live with a peace of mind and quiet community, I'm glad that we chose Forestview as our home. Our experience with Forestview's management team has excellent from the first call we made to now, 3 plus years of living here. Maintenance is always prompt, courteous and efficient. The office team always eager to satisfy our needs when possible. My only wish is that there were more visitor parkings available and that dog owners in the neighborhood picked up after their pets.
Quiet, clean, good location especially for the Eastside, responsive staff gets things fixed quickly - parking is available at a price- and wish they'd open the pool more .
