We're so glad to hear that your enjoying your spacious apartment! We're here to help! Reach out if you need anything else.
The office is closed on the weekends.. They never answer thier phone when the office is open - unless you keep calling- since whatever button you press it goes to VM. AJH is horrible AMENITIES fee - MUST be paid that is the new thing $150.00 year or per lease renewal and you do NOT sign a new lease only a 2 page adden - NEVER heard that before we did sign a complete new lease every time to read the fine print- not now and if you don't have a copy of your last lease - We were told too bad Not sure how that is done since the management company changed and the old one is listed . Waiting for this lease to end to get out. place is dirty. embarrassed to bring anyone here now. I know when my friend lease they will have a ton of charges in their apartment. The stove does not work well, the screen door has been bent since day one- the lock on the door is loose. NOISE and the not caring management and maintenance are terrible

Unfortunately, after being a resident here for 7 years, I am currently looking for a new home to move to quickly. This WAS a fantastic apartment complex when I moved in 2016. Everything was kept clean and looking like new. Having the public gym, bars, restaurants and shops within the same complex was a major plus in deciding to live here. Today the entire Voorhees Town Center, to include the Echelon Mall is turning into a complete ghost town. Numerous shops and restaurants have all closed their doors including 99% of the shops in the mall. Friendly's and Catelli Duo never reopened after Covid. Now we are hearing that Iron Hill Brewery will be closing its doors by the end of the year. Soon there will be zero shops or restaurants to go to! Since AJH Management took over the Residents Apartments back in 2018/2019, the quality of life here has gone downhill very quickly. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR FACILITIES OR RESIDENTS, ONLY THAT THE MONTHLY RENT IS IN ON TIME. Management in the Leasing Office constantly lie about getting items repaired or replaced. For example, the air conditioning in our Hallways have not been working for the past few years and the 2nd and 3rd floors are a constant 85f-90f during the summer months. Numerous residents and I have complained about it and the office staff say it is being looked into or it is working. It was never 85F in the hallways prior to AJH taking over nor did we complain about it. Other issues to name a few, elevators constantly breaking down and being inoperative for days. Front Door Key Pads to get inside not working for 2 weeks and entrance doors to the buildings were propped open for anyone to enter. All the resident buildings (except the building connected to the leasing office and resident gym, which shockingly always is cool, looks clean and new) are all dirty and falling apart. From Gutters hanging off buildings, to dirty rust colored water stains everywhere, inside hallway rugs that have water stains, mildew and odors and most recently birds living in all of the outside vents from the dryer units and bird droppings everywhere. It is a shame because this Apartment complex could be great again if it had a management team that cared about the facilities, its residents and a Town Center that was run correctly. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
Do not, by an means, move here. Management does NOTHING to resolve issues that impact your quality of life while you are living there. For example, pot smoking neighbors that stink up the ENTIRE building (not just their floor), holes in the walls, noise complaints that happen daily, parking issues etc.
Horrible place to move, they don’t take care of their places and it’s not worth the money, leaks everywhere, maintenance don’t care can’t wait to move, the new management is horrible
In the spring of 2018 the management of this building switched to AJH management. Things quickly changed for the worse. As a former tenant you could tell that management is cutting corners. For almost a year there were only two gentlemen working in maintenance when there are at least 9 huge buildings housing residents. Maintenance requests could have taken weeks or months to fill... some were never filled. I know tenants who were replacing things themselves that technically is covered in their rent and should replaced by Foster Square. When I moved the landscaping situation was terrible. There were multiple buildings that are not frequently visited by potential renters that looked like garbage. The buildings around the pool and leasing office looked great- because that’s what potential renters see! Emails sent to management with requests or concerns can go unanswered. Sometimes you need to send multiple follow up emails and wait weeks/months for things to be resolved. As a tenant my biggest issue was the outside lighting. A large number of street lights on the boulevard were burnt out and remained burnt out despite multiple complaints from numerous tenants for half of the fall season, all of winter, and half of the spring. When I moved in late spring they still were not all replaced. If you can ignore these types of issues, the place is great. Great location, friendly neighbors, decent pool, pet waste trash cans and bags provided. The people in the office are super friendly and personable. I think the true issue is upper maintenance.
I work in the hospitality industry and I work in a position where online availability and actual availability do not always add up so I understand the frustration. But, what I experienced today in the leasing office was atrocious. I understand that maybe I could have scheduled a better time to come look at an apartment, but Foster Square is so heavily advertised as having availability and every email I received said “come schedule a tour today.” So, I just figured it wouldn’t be an issue if I called to try to schedule something. The leasing consultant told me they only had one apartment available, it was more than we wanted so spend but would be willing to if it was something we really loved. So I set up a time to come see it. The leasing consultant should have just let me know today wasn’t a good day. But instead she told me Noon would be good time and I arrived only to be treated like a nuisance. Two women yelling back and forth at each other in two separate offices basically acted like I didn’t exist. I tried to explain that I was flexible with apartment size and move in date, and that a two bedroom at the beginning of July was our goal but not necessary. She was very preoccupied with something else and didn’t listen to anything I was saying. She cut me off and said “We are basically full and this is the only apartment we have available or will have available”. So if you were interested in moving here sometime between now and September, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere...they are completely full.
After we moved in last year the property was sold to a new management company. They are very slow to get things fixed when broken. Our building hasn’t locked for over two months while they wait on a part.. Air Conditioning broke and it took 5 calls to the office, 3 different visits by maintenance, and 4 weeks for it to get fixed. The pool barely gets used because of horrible hours. Looks nice outside. Don’t be fooled. We will not be renewing our lease.
Terrible management. First time i was to be late, i called, i said i will bring in a check on the following Monday i was told ok. I show up with a check, they tell me that if it is late it is only to be cash, well i wasn't told that upfront. The pool that was advertised as a Hot Tub when i toured, is not to be used. the pool hours are atrocious, it was still daylight out for a good hour after the pool closed in the summer (only open 10-7? its daylight till about 8). Any complaints about the pool we are told, they don't control it... but... this is your property? After i moved out i was told that they were going to charge me rent up until i return the keys, i had forgotten. They charged me rent for a good week or so after, when my lease was UP!. they constantly are changing people in the office, constantly losing things. The fire pit worked once in a while, the ranges were often out of gas, the cops would get called on a weekend in the summer if we were out by the fire pit telling us we need to go inside, when we weren't loud at all, and we pay to be able to use these "amenities". The gym devices were constantly broken, i mean other than the apartment itself being really nice, there isn't much nice things i can say here. i would recommend looking at some of the lesser expensive options that have better and more polite management
