Property Ratings at Foundation at Cityline
DO NOT LIVE HERE! My roommate and I moved here in September of 2021. When we moved in, there were dead roaches inside the refrigerator and cabinets, which should have been my first warning sign. Within two days, we noticed them all over the bathroom and kitchen. We put in several work orders and pest control came to spray several times. However, the problem kept getting worse. Pest control did a “deep spray” once where we moved everything out of the cabinets and away from the walls. It did not help. Eventually we put boric acid and traps everywhere. We caught over 8 roaches in our dishwasher within 2 days, even though we never left dirty dishes. In the last month my roommate has woke up several times with roaches crawling on her arms. They won’t let us break the lease until we do one more “deep spray” so we moved everything AGAIN, knowing the results won’t be any different. Last night I found several holes in the wall and literally watched the roaches crawl out of the holes. We told management and they said that we should seal the holes ourself using caulking. I’m sure there are holes are over the place, though. On top of the roaches, our dishwasher has been broken for a week, with no ETA on when it will be fixed. About a month ago, our bathroom ceiling started significantly leaking water every time we turned on the faucet, and it took them 2 days to come look at and fix. The only redeeming quality of this place is the property manger, Anita! She is nice and really cares. She’s the only reason I gave this place 1 star.
The management has changed once or twice recently, but as of March 30, 2020 it is extremely responsive. I had a complaint about neighbors repeatedly playing music so loud it would vibrate my furniture. They dealt with it almost immediately. This has been a great apartment other than this group of neighbors.
Great Community and Helpful Staff. A Perfect Place to Call Home
Do NOT move here. Worst experience of my life. 1- No working fridge.. it’s Tuesday so 4 days since I’ve moved in. 2-There was mold all under the bathroom sink from a leak under the bathroom and it being 98 degrees in here. The contractor that came yesterday for the cabinets was told he was just “touching up” 3- Make ready was not done. No cabinets painted 4- no weather stripping on the door/ air will not shut off so it’s been constantly running. 5-Andddd I woke up to bites everywhere, found bedbugs on my mattress. The property manager says there has been nothing reported. The upstairs neighbor who was moving out said he’s had them for 2 YEARS. He has a mattress with a BED BUG COVER OUTSIDE NOW. I’ve never in my life witnessed something like this and still I have not been contacted on a solution.
