This very walkable community is home to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and antique stores. Denton is a college town, home to both the University of North Texas and the Texas Woman's University. The city is known for its music, the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo, and a variety of music events that includes the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. Downtown Denton is home to a variety of museums and art galleries, including the Bayless-Selby House Museum and the Lightwell Gallery at UNT.

Property Ratings at Fountains of Denton
I’ve lived in several apartment communities as well as worked in the industry previously for 16 years! I can tell you without hesitation this community and management staff and team members are considerably amazing compared to what is out there today in the market. I am very impressed with everything I have experience at this community that’s far. I would definitely recommend residing here.
Quiet safe feeling apartment complex. Plenty of amenities. Staff wonderful and friendly . Complex well maintained. Not far from downtown or getting onto the Loop.
The size for a first apartment was good. The best part was how big the tub is but other then that I wouldn’t live here again. Management was awful. Every time I would call to get something fixed I would have to call multiple times then weeks later it would get fixed or I would give up. For a whole year no one fixed the carpet that was put down incorrectly to begin with. I called every to every other week to get it fixed by the time we moved out we were charged for “carpet damages”. If you have pets don’t love here either. Every time it rains the park floods and no one knows how to keep their dog on a leash. I had a yorkie come into my apartment when I was trying to leave because her owner just let her run around. The gate never works and the guy who works after hours for emergency is never available. Also some took their fire alarm out threw it in the garbage right outside my place. The thing went off for hours, I called and called someone finally answered said he couldn’t do anything as he wasn’t in town (every time I called he “wasn’t in town”) so I had to go dumpster diving...
The management is horrible. Maintenance does nothing to fix anything. Put in request to fix several items when we moved in 9 months ago, none of the items were ever fixed. Water faucet in tub dripped the whole time we lived there causing our water bill to be high. The AC return vent looked like it had NEVER been cleaned. The apartment painters just painted over the dust on the vent without cleaning it first. We were sick the whole time we lived here because of the air quality and our electric bill was $400.00 in July, August, and September. The apartment complex never addressed the issue and never offered to help pay the outrageous electric bill. Our cars were towed several times when they should not have been, we had to pay the tow bill. Do not live here, you will go in debt and the complex management does not care. I would give it negative ratings but it will not let me. This complex needs to be reported and health inspections need to be made.
Staff is nice and professional. Maintenance service responsive. Apartments are nice. Price is too high and has larger increases at term than any we've surveyed. Finally had to move out due to rent being escalated too rapidly. Some folks may not mind mud everywhere, but that's the 2nd biggest knock on this place. The grounds are 90% dirt/sand/tree roots and the sidewalks, parking areas, walking routes are constantly covered in mud after rains. Guest parking is virtually non-existent, even out front, its difficult to have even 1 guest much less a small party (car pool!). Wont miss the guest parking, constant mud and very high prices.
Seems over prices for square footage. Small kitchen and should be stainless steel for what you pay. Fireplace a bonus but over all not impressed.
Really love how pet friendly it is here. The area is beautiful. Neighbors are very polite. The amenties are a plus! The master closet is huge. A perfect size apartment.
The fountains of Denton is one of the best apartments I've lived in. Very friendly and helpful staff, maintenance crew are fast and efficient and usually your problem is fixed that day you put in the request. The prices are also fair, you get a decent size apartment for the price. The also accept pets but with that comes a pet deposit and $10 pet rent....one negative I have here but the also have a dog park for your dogs to run around and play. All in all you really can't go wrong living here and it's also a gated community as well which is nice.
Great apartment complex .... in my opinion the best in Denton Texas. Good maintenance, the grounds are well kept. Very quiet adult community.
