Easton sits right on the New Jersey border, minutes outside of Allentown and about an hour and a half from Philadelphia. For being a fairly small city, Easton is packed with a surprising variety of things to do. Historic Downtown in particular offers an array of options to rival much larger communities—in just a few blocks of your apartment, you'll be able to grab a cup of coffee at Quadrant Book Mart, pick up fresh produce at the Easton Farmers’ Market, take the kids to the Crayola Experience, catch a performance at the State Theatre Center, and have a nightcap at Two Rivers Brewing, all in an environment of beautifully preserved historic architecture. Folks who prefer the outdoors can enjoy strolling through Moore and Riverview parks while enjoying views of the Lehigh River.
