Willow Oaks is known as one of Hampton’s best neighborhoods to live in and it’s not hard to see why. This neighborhood is family-friendly with great schools and boasts an incredible central location. Willow Oaks is about four miles north of Downtown Hampton and Hampton University. Several beaches like Buckroe Beach and Park are about five miles away. Willow Oaks is wooded and rests between the Southwest Branch Back River and the Hampton River, giving residents access to several parks and the river. Locals flock to Gosnold's Hope Park for kayaking and boating. Willow Oaks is mainly residential, but there are several restaurants, grocers, and stores scattered throughout the area. The neighborhood has affordable to upscale houses, apartments, and townhomes available for rent.

Property Ratings at Fox Hill Village
The entire maintenance team cannot/ does not properly fix simple issues. To get anything done you have to go thru corporate. The only good thing about this property is the school zone!
Worst company to live for they are very grimy. They’re always switching management in the office & will kick you out if even if you have children & paying your rent.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kensington. The manager changed during our stay but we cannot thank each of them enough for taking care of us while we lived here. Maintenance was great and completed any work orders right away. Will definitely rent here again if we are stationed in the area.
We lived at Kensington for a little over 2 years and absolutely loved the community! The staff was wonderful and took great care of us.
We have lived in Kensington Square Apartments since September of 2017. When we first moved in, the place was not finished being cleaned or painted. We had a TON of roaches within our first week there. I was so upset with the conditions we arrived to. A few months down the road they obtained new management his name is Will and he is really changing things around. He immediately started fixing things and hired all new workers. I'm sure this place is going in a better direction but unfortunately our experience was horrible for the first 6 months. Safer area, close to schools and very quiet though.
Kensington is one of the nicest apartment complexes I have ever lived in. The prices are very reasonable and the property is very well kept. The staff is also excellent and make you feel like you're the only resident living here. I also love the amount of trees on the property and the feeling of living out in the country while being only 5 minutes from the center of Hampton. I plan on living here for a while as I don't think I'll be able to find a property like this again.
Horrible horrible there's mold growing everywhere under cabinets you will constantly have issues heat and Ac systems were install in 1973 and refuse to update units or apartments or townhouses water bill is a $100 bucks a month no matter how much water you use you will pay a $100 they will have many excuses and lies dog poop everywhere along with trash rating of 0000 stay far away.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
I love my apt but have to move to Newport News for work. My apt. is 2br 2ba and my master br is huge. I haven't found any comparable size bedrooms. The staff is great and maintenance fixes whatever I ask. I even stopped the maintenance man like a minute before he was to leave and he still helped me. No random entries into your apartment by maintenance either. The walls are not thin. I never hear my neighbors or smell cigarette smoke or funky pet smells. My kitchen is small but I hate cooking so I'm never in there anyway! No random kids running around the parking lot destroying your car either. French doors on my balcony are so cute. I wish I could stay.
I have lived here for over two years and really enjoy it. It's a quiet neighborhood and park like setting not far from everything. Easy access to I64. Maintainance is quick to respond and management is great. I have a washer and dryer in my apartment. All in all a friendly place to live!

Thank you so much for taking your time to review the community, we appreciate your kind words. We agree, having a washer/dryer inside is great and we enjoy having such a nice and quiet community. Our team works hard to ensure we provide the best service to our residents, I am happy to see that your experience with our team has been great. We would love to see you at our next Community Game night!
This is a community of military and civilians. It is very quiet and the neighbors are so friendly. I only been here for one month and I am loving it. The staff are very polite and right on time. No maintain issues but, I was told they are very sufficient. They have 24 hour security. That is a plus. I really love it out here and my teenage son does too. Very close to all ammenties (Farm Fresh, Food Lion, two Credit Unions, one bank, Dairy Queen, McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees and right on bus line)
