Property Ratings at Fox Meadow Apartments
My First time applying for an apartment and I got in!!! Christopher did his big one!! The experience was the best and the process was quick!! Thank you!!
While the school district and surrounding area is great, the complex itself sucks. Multiple shootings have happened within the ONE year I’ve lived here. Also thin walls. So much crime too. My catalytic converter got stollen and nothing was done about it. People are constantly getting their tires stolen or taken off. Avoid this place!
Property Manager at Fox Meadow Apartments, Responded To This Review
We apologize for the distressing experiences you've encountered during your time here. Thank you for your feedback, and we are committed to addressing these issues to improve the safety and security of our community.
Really bad mice infestation, management does nothing. they spent money on a new club house to attract new tenants .instead of paying for an exterminator .they put one black box in my apartment it did nothing the mice laughed at it! I’m stuck until the end of my lease because I need a return of my security deposit ,which is crazy my rent should be split between me and the 6 mice ! I’m going to start calling the police making trespassing complaints when I see the mice maybe then they’ll let me out of this lease . I can’t believe they think this is normal . This isn’t public housing it’s like living in an nyc apartment .
Property Manager at Fox Meadow Apartments, Responded To This Review
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort you've experienced with the mice issue in your apartment. Rest assured, we are taking your feedback seriously and will address the pest problem more effectively.
Kenzie showed me around the apartment complex. She was super easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. The property looked great!
The apartments are awful, they're old, not maintained well, have infestations of rats and cockroaches that mangement doesn't get rid of, old as hell appliances that barely run and of course recently had a huge fire that consumed a large number of units. Everything about this place is terrible, do not be mislead into thinking this is anything but a bottom of the bin desperation location.
Horrible place don't believe the photos they show on the internet and model because the reality is different. The apartments have a lot of cockroaches, they have a lot of problems and need maintenance and the administration staff does absolutely nothing to help improve it. Townhouses have rats everywhere. Old kitchen cabinets literally fall apart and still charge an absurd rent for what the condo offers. Not to mention the tight parking spaces and the neighbors don't care about their car they slam and dent the doors. Yes, another detail, don't buy anything for delivery because the neighbors steal your order. This place is terribly awful.
The maintenance is horrible, there are mice, roaches. The maintenances take more than two months to fix things. The manager is useless. It does not solve any problem.
Your Rent will increase with every lease signing, they have a rodent problem. Trash is everywhere. The beautiful pictures on the site are a lie, the pool has been closed for years. The gym is outdated and gross, dog park is very unsanitary and the park is unsafe. Just take a slow drive around the entire complex before signing your lease.
I just moved into fox meadows an my leasing agent Mackenezie was so awesome an made everything super easy.
This place is the worst . Maintenance response to every complaint, we going to send some one out. Never come. been in this apartment for a year w dents in the floors , the titles in the kitchen are coming up and the bathroom yuck. They just paint over the apartment to make it seem newly. For this to be a referral & my first apartment I’m disappointed.
Great community! Great community! Thank you Angelina for all tour help!!!
Beautiful complex at an affordable price. The representative Kenzie was very informative, cordial, and kind. She made sure all of our needs were met and addressed all of our concerns. We had a really good experience with all of the paperwork and she made it very smooth and easy. 5 Star service!
Great place! Nice area. Friendly staff! Ask for Kenzie! She’ll guide you through the whole process!
Kenzie was our leasing agent. She was super friendly. On top of the whole process. She kept us in the loop with everything. Thank you Kenzie for all your help.
Kenzie was sooo amazing! She answered all our questions immediately. We are so excited to start this journey!!
My Fiancé, Christopher, and I have resided in Fox Meadow since the beginning of May. We have had nothing but issues with them since we moved in. To begin, We were moved into a moldy apartment, where there were many issues which had just been covered up so we wouldn’t see them when we first moved in. The water heater, the condensation line for the AC, and the dishwasher were leaking. The water heater was replaced, but the other two issues were not fixed until a month and a half later or so later. When ?Fox Meadows? came out to fix the damaged dry wall which had been damaged by these leaks, they saw that the insulation was covered in mold and just decided to cover it up again. The other two leaks continued, and at one point a mushroom grew out of our wall. I had to fight tooth and nail to get out of this apartment which sent me to the hospital twice because I am highly allergic to mold. These hospital trips have costs attached to them, as do the days of work I missed. Chris spends a good amount of time at home as well, so it was harmful for him to be in that environment as well. ?Fox Meadow finally decided to break the lease for that unit and moved us into a town home, but only after I explained many times that you can’t just paint over a mold problem, as the floor, insulation, HVAC system and other areas were infested with it. We were moved to a more expensive unit, $120 more a month for the townhome or $140 more for the 2 BR apt that was the same as our current unit. I had to take off work to move everything, even though it was not my fault that we were given keys to a non-ready apartment when we initially moved in. Everything, again, seemed alright except for a few minor issues when we moved into this unit, but I was wrong. The door was not sealing properly, allowing bugs, water, and other things from outside to get into our unit. I have found many bugs in our clean apartment, fully grown, that have clearly gotten in through the gaps in our front door. Secondly, Christopher and my mother in law have almost slipped and fell when entering/exiting the apartment because of water build up on the foyer floor from the door leaking. Christopher is disabled, and cannot keep his balance well. Had I not been there to help him, he probably would fallen. I have had to argue with the property manager to try to get these issues fixed, and they still have no been fixed. Our patio, which should have been clean at move in, is still covered in moss. ?
This property is ridiculous! The negligence residents have to deal with is horrendous! I don’t know how many emails/calls I’ve made to property manager, corporate...and still the residents are not heard here. It’s a heatwave and there’s about 40 apartments at the least including mine without air conditioning. You would think the maintenance staff would work overtime to ensure every paying tenant is provided with what they pay for in their lease! Horrible management staff!
I’m living here and I’m looking for a new place. They always make me pay more money for anything. My door was open 2 time without my authorization. My neighbor almost generated a fire and my apartment was filled with smoke. My dog was intoxicated and there was not even call me to told me about this emergency. I discovered everything when I got home from work. Maintenance is terrible, garbage everywhere. And the same laundry room, in addition to broken machines and bad odors. the worst place to live.
1)Noisy: as it's beside the 73 Route, it's very noisy outside. And the apartment itself doesn't insulate sound well. I can hear TVs, talkings, phones from all my 3 neighbours! I have to move my bed from one room to another frequently to find a relatively quiet spot to sleep. 2)Poor stuff: they are very nice when you want to move in. But once you get the lease signed, they are reluctant to answer your questions anymore. Also, there're lots of tricky items in the lease, each one will cost you hundreds of dollars in future. They would never alert you beforehand. They just keep charging you. I'm really a good rentant. I'm quiet. I submit rents on-time. I clean up the apartment before I leave. I never call repairing service. But even for me they ate all my security deposit! You can search online for other examples of this. 3)Untidy: Grass is sparse. Rabbish is here and there. You can smell pets (sometimes even human beings) pee in this area... Also I find a strange things. They always try to clean the roof or cut grass after work or in the weekend. It's like saying to rentants "Hey, look, we are maintaining the complex. Don't complain on this." Overall, I would never recommend friends to leave here. They may ask for less at the first glance, but they will ask you for more in future.
Maintenance request are not taking seriously. They don't look at online request put in and lie about when they are coming. I bet if I passed out from lack of breathing, they would react then. Going on 7 days for my air being broke and it is brushed off as not an issue. Now this is just ridiculous.
Air conditioning goes out very often, and it often will not be fixed for several days. If you use the web form to submit maintenance requests, they go to the office and are then forwarded to the maintenance team, however they are often not forwarded at all. The management is very good at collecting your money, but are very bad at keeping things working.
very bad management team sply. SUZZANE and they have are scam artist once you leave apartment, thy will send you some cleaning bills even though we all ready clean the apt. if you argue about bill they will send those bill to collection dapt. so at the end, they will win because they own business. another thing their is bed bugs too, its not even safe community. thy scam also my frnd too......
I'll be leaving next month and I cannot wait. After living in this complex for about 7 years I can't take it anymore. The staff is highly disorganized and can't get their act together. Random charges for things and you really have no choice but to pay unless you want more and more fees. If you purchase reserved parking you pay $25 a month extra, but they refuse to take any action when people constantly park in the spot. Then they argue if you refuse to pay the parking. Maintenance won't fix anything because the manager won't let them. We went without a/c for over a month in the hottest time of the year even though the workers kept telling us the unit was broken. Just forget doing laundry on site. The machines hardly work the way they should and sometimes just steal your money altogether. If you complain they blame you for overfilling the machine (funny this never happens at other laundromats). Upstairs neighbors make excessive treadmill and other noises all night long. The construction is so bad the entire place shakes including the windows and glass doors. Complaints do nothing. Terrible drafts through windows, doors, and intake vent because the property is not taken care of, so the heat and air run nonstop. Again, I can deal with some of these things if I wasn't ignored when bringing them up. Could be a nice place to live, but I can't wait to get out of here. They just don't care about the residents other than gauging them for more and more money.
We have been here since May 2017. We live in an upgraded townhouse . I love my townhouse, but my husband became ill suddenly and we are not able to pay the rent. Therefore we are being evicted in a few days. I’m broken hearted and have nowhere to go. We will be homeless. Whenever I had a problem it was always resolved. Yes the neighbors are ignorant but I don’t bother with them. I don’t want to leave. I love it here. We had so much fun at the pool last summer. Yes there are bugs in the summer but they provide an exterminator. Sincerely Carmela Evans 37 Washington Drive
The title says it all really. We live in a townhome, and it's decent. The unit has good storage space, and it's nice having 1.5 baths. We're lucky that our neighbors are pretty quiet too, but the walls are thin. They're definitely not well insulated. We can hear the neighbors going up and down their stairs anytime that they do. We can occasionally hear music. Additionally, the windows are HORRIBLE. It's almost like no window at all. I've lived in many apartments, but I've never experienced a unit with such overly loud windows. Honestly, if I could change anything, it'd be the terribly thin windows. You will lose a lot of heat in winter and gain a lot of warmth in summer (in addition to the noise) from these windows. Generally, maintenance is real issue here. Maintenance staff are nice and fix things, generally, but nothing is updated. These units are in desperate need of new windows. The tile in the bathrooms is gross. It was already coming up when we moved into the unit. The grout in the shower is crumbling. The upstairs sink won't stop leaking, and the downstairs sink barely functions on the cold side. The AC/Heater combo is several decades old and sounds like a train. It's sucks electricity like a train, too. You're probably better looking for something higher quality. Like I said, it's a mixed bag. Maintenance and upkeep are a 0 out of 5 here. Unit quality is maybe a 2.5/3 out of 5. The community is a 1 or 2 out of 5. Our neighbor never cleans up after her dog. Kids run around throwing soccer balls at the buildings and ringing door bells - no parents around. Parking is OK and somehow people seem to avoid dinging doors - at least in our section. My wife and I are bidding our time while she rounds out school, and then we're buying a house. We just don't have the energy to move. If we weren't looking at a house in a couple years - we'd definitely move. I advise that you keep looking, unless your situation resembles ours; and you just need a place to buy some time.
I Truly Can Say That Fox Meadows Community Is Real Nice Place To Live With Your Family And The Young Ladies In The Office Are Very Helpful Of Making My Move Real Easy And Smooth Especially Angelina & Amy They Help Me So Much I Love My New Townhouse And The Neighborhood & Neighbors Are Very Nice Thanks Fox Meadows God Bless Yours Truly Shana Goodloe
This is the beautiful apartment Close to Highway. Has good space for evening walk within the apartment complex. Have good atmosphere with people from all parts of the world. Have a beautiful swimming pool for summer recreation and good child play area which enables all kids of the apartment meet at evening play hours and overall good atmosphere for a better living at an affordable prize.
Just moved into the apartment in the end of May and being here for almost 3 months, I'm glad I made the choice. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet, the area is close to all major highways, and there are lots of services and activities on grounds (maintenance, day care, golf, and swimming pool). Not to mention rent is pretty good considering the area (others are a little pricey).
Great apartment, friendly neighbors. wonderful location for just about every activities, Skating, bowling. easy access to transportation, malls and restaurants. staff member are helpful. onsite pool, gym, new dog walk park and golfing.
the apartments arent too bad, you can move in quickly and they are dog friendly. The buildings need some maintenance and the current managers aren't putting much into upkeep.
Really nice and clean, the grounds are kept and maintained very well. Walking to stores is a breeze, has its own pool and exercise gym along with basketball and tennis courts.Rent is good and you get more than what you pay for..Great people all around this area and the staff is just awesome to talk to.. Big bedrooms and closets and nice kitchens too...
When you walk inside you can see right through to the bedroom. My kitchen is a little one person kitchen, my bathroom only fits one person. That's how small my apartment is yes I have a balcony off my living room. Walk in the front door then right out the back. I pay $985.00 a month for this apartment would love to get a year free. Fox Meadows don't worry about there renters just how to get more money. That is the sad truth to much crime!
Never thought i'd find a place that would be so accommodating. The Staff is so friendly and maintenance are friendly and fix everything I have a problem with which usually isn't much. Finally am happy with an apartment.
