Northwest Omaha is a neighborhood spanning west of Interstate 680 about 15 miles from the heart of Omaha. This pleasant neighborhood features wide-open spaces, parks, and residential areas. A variety of affordable apartments are nestled within these residential sections of the neighborhood. Office complexes and retail spaces are situated in the southern corner of town, while peaceful parks and trails like Standing Bear Lake are located towards the north of town. Additional parks are nearby, and the big-city amenities in Downtown Omaha are only a few minutes away.

Property Ratings at Fox Ridge Apartments
This apartment complex started out great. Then the management company changed. They had break ins and we went almost a month and no pool and no compensation. Then they promise you full deposit returned when you move out and they don't give you it all back.
We thought we was getting a bug free apartment and only been in it for a week and we have serious bug problems she manager lied dont go to this place its horrible.....
This place is such a dump. The pool is never open on time and there’s no security whatsoever. The utilities are well over outdated and it’s just been a big disappointment from day one. Save yourself some time and frustration and choose to live elsewhere.
This place is stuck in the 1960's. There is no security system whatsoever. There are no lights out in the parking lot. I just don't feel safe living here. Also, there might as well not be a pool because it's been closed 3/4 of the summer anyway. They say that there have been persons vandalizing the pool and they changed the pool hours to business hours which makes it very inconvenient to us residents who work "business" hours. I don't even get a chance to enjoy it. Also, it would make a lot of sense to invest in some surveillance camera's so you can actually catch who these individuals that are messing with the pool area are a little faster than "babysitting" the pool and making the resident's suffer for other irresponsible people's actions. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please spare your time and frustration on someplace else.
I've lived here almost a year and for the most part had nothing to complain about except thin walls. About two weeks ago I was a bug crawling up my wall, so I sprayed my apartment for bed bugs. I notified the management, they came out, did an inspection and found nothing. A couple days later I found one in my shower curtain and caught it to prove they were in my apartment. I showed management and they agreed to treat my apartment. I prepared my apartment for the treatment but because they still can't find any trace of bugs they won't treat my apartment. Even after I caught a bug. My rent is paid on time every month, I don't cause problems for other residents, there's no reason they shouldn't take care of the problem.
Unless you want to pay for new car windows every month To add to your rent go for it. I went to the extent of getting a garage for that to get broke into as well. First off I had been there a little over 3 yrs and they cannot keep staff there. That said a lot if that place. Neighbors up all hours of the night having parties and smoking weed. There is a huge safety issue of some of the people living there. I was faced by some creepy guys on numerous occasions with threats, and watching my every move. Went to the office and they did not care. After several complaint I was informed they were evicted, but they were really moved down the hall. They are in it for the money!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!
I first moved here about 10 months ago and it was all pretty standard apartment living. The front office lady was nice and helpful when getting things worked on and figured out. Then I moved up to a different apartment after my short lease was over and this is about the time problems started. They switched office staff and I swear it is somebody different in there every day. Maintenance takes even longer to get things fixed than they did before. And nobody can seem to answer the phone or get the problems I am having with rent (they keep charging me higher than my signed contract, and are charging me utility fees even though all that was switched over long ago) under control and fixed. I continue to have bugs in my apartment and have requested the bug sprayer guy and even the regional manager in the office couldn't tell me when he comes so that I could be prepared.
My wife recently suffered a stroke, which essentially wiped out the use of her left arm and left leg (she's recovering nicely now). At the time, we were living on the second floor of an apartment that required 14 steps up just to get to the door. The physical therapy folks at the hospital suggested strongly that I find an apartment with no steps. After calling about 25 apartment complexes, I found the ideal location at Fox Ridge Apartments. From the car to the apartment door, there are no steps. Other amenities that I love is how close we are to the businesses we patronize. Grocery store? Just across the street. Pharmacy (my wife and I are both on medications for health purposes)? A five minute drive. Another thing I like is the fact that this apartment complex does a background check on all potential renters before accepting them. Management is very friendly. Also, they have several ways you can pay the rent: walk it up to the office, or setup an account on-line and pay it electronically (that's what I'm about to do). I have phone service and high-speed internet service through Cox Communications. The complex also has garages one can rent for $50.00 per month. Otherwise, parking is anywhere you find an empty slot (which they have plenty of and which there are no reserved spots). Mail delivery happens inside the complex (mail boxes are located in several places in the complex) so no need to go outside during the winter. If you're looking for an affordable place to rent, I would recommend Fox Ridge Apartments.
After moving here with my fiancé we fell in love with Omaha Nebraska and with out first ever apartment. The staff is so kind here and they truly care about the community here. It's always quiet here and our neighbors have become really good friends of ours. I would reccomend this complex to anyone who is new to Omaha and wants to have a cozy escape from the stress of the world.
Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Everyone was very welcoming. The apartment was fixed up great before I moved in. Love my new home!
Great place to live! Love the location! Want a fresh new start with no hassle. Apply here!
