Property Ratings at Fox Trace Apartments
Wow where should I start about this apartment complex. I have been living here for 3 years now, my light in my living room, after having 3 maintenance slips put in was told the light just can’t be fixed. You turn the switch on and the light flicks on and then immediately flicks off. Each year I have lived here, when I turn my ac on for the summer, we have to have maintenance come in and put freon in the unit, you would think they would look more into the issue than just the quick fix. Each year they send out slips that state we are going to have a filter/fire alarm check, usually I am at work when this occurs so I never know if anyone has entered my apartment or if everything is okay with the items checked, as no note is left. October of last year, I was doing a deep clean of my apartment and notice how awful my vents looked, mind you the apartment “checks” were done in August. I opened the ac unit, and saw the filter was almost BLACK, it was never changed which make me think no one ever came. I had my husband go to Home depot and get us a new one because it was not even worth a fight. Also, my fire alarm has been down for two years now, as every time I put a new battery in, it starts to go off. I was hoping they would come in and notice it was not hanging up in the proper spot and replace it. On to the harassing emails and letters we get from the office. The first one started when there was stain on the carpet in the hallway, hallway that 8 apartments share coming to and from the outside of the building, that was said to have been my dog. I was told I would have to pay for the cleaning fee for the stain. We asked for proof of the incident and all they did was provide us a bill from the company who came in and cleaned it. Nancy who worked in the office when we first moved in, 2017, was notified of the stain, as I was not the only dog owner in the apartment building. They said someone saw my dog create the stain, now in 2019, but still never could say who or when it was done? Hmmmm…..I then received emails from Jennifer the next woman who worked in the office, threatening me that I would have to pay that bill or we wouldn’t be aloud to renew our lease, I still kept asking for proof, needless to say I never received anything. I ended up paying the bill but have put it in my lawyers’ hands along with all the harassing emails and letters we have received.
I love Fox Trace! I have a great apt and very friendly neighbors. I also enjoy how quiet it is here. Everything is clean and well kept too. Im glad I moved here.
I lived at Fox trace for 3 years the apartments are very nice and clean and my neighbors were very nice. The office manager Barbara is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with always had an attitude about everything. Every time I had a maintenance issue I had to call her 10 times before she would actually remember to let the maintenance man know of the issue! The snow removal is awful they wait till late afternoon to plow away the snow and won’t salt the sidewalks . I think if the office manager wasn’t there I would have stayed longer but couldn’t take her crap anymore ! Glad I’m out of there and I’m a better apartment with an amazing office manager who actually cares and not just wanting my money !
