Situated on the north shores of Lake Michigan is the village of Fox Point. Settlers founded the land in the early 1840s. It wasn’t incorporated as a village until 1926, when merchants and business owners from adjacent communities moved their families into the small settlement.
Today, residents of Fox Point enjoy the village’s quaint atmosphere with nearby big-city amenities. Doctors Park is the go-to spot for biking and beaches. The nature trails lead to the shores for some fun in the sun, and the paved trails make it easy for residents to walk or bike around the green space. During the summer months, the park hosts the Traveling Beer Garden event where park-goers can sample a selection of local craft brews. Just a short drive from Fox Point is the Milwaukee River Greenway, country clubs, unique shopping destinations, and restaurants.

Property Ratings at Foxcroft Apartments
I resided at Foxcroft for a couple years and it's truly a gem of a place. The apartments themselves are very spacious and worth the cost of rent. Having outside balcony areas are a really nice luxury. The management and on-site staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Foxcroft.
The worst decision I’ve made so far in my life is leaving this amazing place. The management team are comprised of some of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. Melissa is such a pleasure to work with. I lived here for two years and I loved everything about this place. I had the big windows in my room that brought in the beautiful sunshine every morning. I loved the heated bathrooms! And I loved my neighbors. While I wish w/d were included in the rooms, I didn’t mind walking down the hall to do my laundry. I regret leaving this amazing place. The company who does the grounds work are some of the nicest people as well. If there is every an opening again, I would move back in a heart beat.
I have been living in the Foxcroft community for approximately eight years. I have also lived in other apartment complexes over the years so I have other examples for comparison. Foxcroft is without question the best maintained and best managed property I've lived in. It is also beautiful in terms of the greenery and landscaping. There is careful attention to keeping everything very clean and well-maintained in the buildings - this was a key selling point for me up front. Having owned my own home I know that every property comes with its share of renovation/upkeep challenges. The inconvenience is kept to a minimum here and residents are always provided ample notice and explanation for changes to the schedule. The staff and management are professional, smart, kind people that really care about residents' experience, safety, and well being. The manager has on multiple occasions gone way out of her way to address concerns that would not get attention in other communities (noise, smoke transfer between units, maintenence issues, etc.) As someone with health challenges I feel so much peace of mind living here - I can trust that my living environment will be in order and the management team will be helpful in any way possible. I've also enjoyed the community itself and have met so many friendly people at different life stages here. It's been a great part of my Milwaukee living experience. I hit the jackpot when I chose this place!
This apartment community is one of the oddest apartment communities I have ever lived in! For the past couple of years management has completed renovations, which was a lot of noise and had overall destruction to the property. Such as the roof and interior common areas. Because the renovations were carried out so cheaply the renovations are not fresh and beautiful. People have not been careful to not trek in mud or snow on the brand new carpet. Also, the freshly painted walls have a majority of new scuff marks. There is bi-yearly maintenance that is very annoying, such as garage cleaning that take 3-4 days to complete. This job I find is unnecessary since it does not resolve anything. Cars are dirty, especially your tires. The moment you drive on the clean garage floor, it becomes dirty again. Especially after a recent rain/snow fall. The tile floors needs to be steamed or moped. The tile in the lobby as well as the elevator has years old dirt on it. Management does hire a Molly Maid, but that is just scratching the surface of this dirt. This is OLD dirt. It needs a heavy duty cleaning such as a tile cleaner and carpet cleaner. Since I have lived here management has also repaved the parking lots twice. This does not resolve anything since salt trucks in the winter dump salt and their metal blades which ultimately destroys the parking lot. Landscapers come at least twice a week in the summer. They begin work in the early morning around 7 am and last all day. This work mainly includes cutting grass and the hedges. This work is very loud. The grass however has had bald patches and been light green/ brown for a long time. It needs some heavy duty fertilizer and water to bring out the green color. Everything in the apartment is old. My appliances are at least 20 years old. All my electric outlets are old and don't hold plugs. The closet doors are the original and always fall off track. My carpet was never changed before I moved in. It was cleaned but is very worn. All patio doors and windows are the original and dirty. The tracks of the door are filled with black dirt. This dirt is from the busy Port Washington Road and I-43 freeway that the complex is across the street from. It coats the windows and blackens the walls.
Property Manager at Foxcroft Apartments, Responded To This Review
We’re sorry to hear of your less-than-satisfactory experience with Foxcroft. With a history of great customer service, we would like to continue this reputation and make things right. However, and with respect, the common area renovations, new roofs and asphalt work (different sections of the asphalt were repaved at different times) are difficult issues to apologize for. There’s no doubt we had a lot going on the last few years, but we believe in maintaining our property – a property our residents are proud to call home. Many delays relating to the common areas occurred just as the Pandemic ramped up. The good news is the roofs and common areas are behind us; any near future projects should not affect our residents. While I’m sorry to learn of your maintenance needs in a review, I’d be grateful to meet with you one-on-one and determine how we can provide solutions to the issues you’ve mentioned. As you know, we have a responsive maintenance and office team. Please do not hesitate to contact me. In the interim, I will address the elevator tile and be mindful of the maintenance schedule for landscaping and garage cleanings. You disagree with the garage cleanings but without it, dust will only carry throughout the building and onto floors (tile and carpet). Perhaps we can shorten the garage downtime. Our landscaper typically cuts weekly and we have a routine fertilization schedule. As for the sparse grass areas, this was a result of the ash trees we had to remove. Soil and seed was completed just last week. We hope Mother Nature will soon give us a hand in greening up the lawn. We’ve already addressed and cleaned many of the common area scuffs from normal wear and tear, package delivery and moving – a schedule for overall touch up painting will occur soon. We value our residents’ opinions and would like to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely want you to be happy at Foxcroft. Many of the apartment issues you mentioned seem like items that can be easily addressed and fixed. Let’s meet soon!
I've been renting a 1 bed for the last two years. Have zero complaints so far for any neighbors or management. THe facilities provided here are unmatched in the locality for the rent.
It's been more than a year since we moved in here. Amazing place to live and very well maintained. Management and staff are super nice. The maintenance turn around is quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to live in a great community.
The facilities are well maintained, but somewhat outdated. Because of this there has been a lot of remodeling and work happening... constantly... for 8+ months, no end in sight. Community is a majority of 50+ and not a huge sense of community. The few children around often are riding bikes in parking lot with no attention to cars. Nice area overall. Not really inclusive community for young renters.

Thank you for your review. I wholeheartedly agree the redecorating and remodeling took longer than anyone anticipated but keeping resident health in mind is important. Like most, the Covid19 Pandemic changed our daily routines and delayed many projects. We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience our residents experienced. The good news is the redecorating is complete and is both fresh and stunning! If you have moved from our community, please stop by to see us! In response to our resident population, our Foxcroft Community truly has a wonderful mix of all ages. It may be the resident population you are referring to was not as visible since most are professional individuals and couples who carry on busy work schedules. Thank you again for your review and our sincerest thanks for your residency.
We rented an apartment for two years at Foxcroft Apartments. From the first moment we met the manageress Julienne we knew this would be a hassle free rental and it was. A wonderful gym on the premises, secure parking underground and exceptionally well maintained. We never had to ask twice for anything and there was never an issue whilst staying there. Bob maintained the grounds and at all times was well kept and neat. Had we not bought a new home we would have stayed on. Very quite and good neighbors and close to all shopping. Thanks to all staff at the apartments.
I have lived at Foxcroft for about 2 years. It's an exceptional place to live. Quiet, beautiful and really well maintained. Bob the maintenance man lives on site and responds to all problems immediately. My two bedroom, one and half bathroom apartment is spacious and looks on to the wonderful ponds. It's within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. I really recommend Foxcroft. It's the best around.
I was impressed by the space and luxury of the apartments. Free outside parking n gym.
My husband and I have lived here for 7 years and think it is a great place..the staff is vey competent and the complex is kept in tip top condition. They know you by name and are eager to please. We enjoy talking to our neighbors and know quite a few. Most of the residents we know have been here for years. There are many restaurants, banks, drugstores and coffee houses in walking distance. I can highly recommend Foxcroft Apartments and think anyone would be happy here.
