Located about five miles west of the University of South Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, and University Mall, the charming Carrollwood neighborhood is convenient to everything Tampa has to offer, but slightly removed to be a peaceful escape at the end of the day. A portion of Lake Carroll extends into the neighborhood on its west side, providing beautiful views for those selecting rentals near the lake. Dale Mabry Highway, which forms the neighborhood's western border, provides ample shops and restaurants for residents.
Carrollwood is convenient for commuters, situated about nine miles northwest of downtown Tampa and less than 10 miles northeast of Tampa International Airport. Residents of Carrollwood are also close to Tampa's Lowery Park Zoo, and the beaches -- including popular Honeymoon Island State Park and Caladesi Island State Park -- are only about 20 miles west.

Property Ratings at Foxcroft Apartments
Everythings broken, Laundry rooms are bad, pool hasnt been open in a year, roaches and pests in every apartment, and my ac has been broken for over a month and still no repair. Maintenance is usually great if its a cheap fix. Management is apathetic, some neighbors are loud and disorderly. Place is a slum but for its area and space its good if you are recently homeless, its a step up. Would not reccomend unless youre trying to start all over again. Even then rent is still too high for what it is. New owners care way less than previous ones and thats saying something.

We apologize for any negative experiences you had during your tenancy. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Affordable and spacious. Maintenance is great. However, laundry room is always filthy. Pit bulls everywhere. Trash everywhere. Breezeways are filthy. Outdated appliances and cabinets. Creaky floors. Thin walls. Steps to apts., rotting away. Homeless people hanging around/living in fire escapes. Pool is disgusting most of the time. Teenagers running and screaming in and out breezeways.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have since done renovations and hired new team members. We are sorry that you had a bad experience with us and wish you nothing but the best. Take care.
Legit worst management ever. When I applied online I called several times to make sure everything went threw no one ever returned messages or answered the phone. Then I get a email saying they couldn’t complete the app because information was missing a month later (nothing was missing when I asked what was missing I did not get a direct answer back. When I asked for a refund of my app fee I was told no. When I followed up again asking what information was missing I was told all of my husbands information (but she addressed him as roommate which I find EXTREMELY rude) and that there were no more units available though. I get online and there are two right now and 2 in a month and 4 the following month. Sooo yeah DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY.
This place sucks and I would give it a -5 if that were possible! They moved me into an apartment that was not ready after pushing back my move in date twice. There are pages of things wrong with my apartment that they keep promising to fix but have not done so. Their excuse is EVERYDAY the maintenance guy has an emergency. During his ENTIRE shift apparently!!! There were 2 large holes in my walls that they just placed a piece of wood over. I can’t cook because my oven and 2 eyes on the stove don’t work, some of the doors to the bathroom and rooms don’t close, the tub in the main bathroom won’t stay unclogged and this has been going on since my move in, there is mold, the shower rods are too small, the kitchen door doesn’t stay closed when you close it, most of the cabinet doors don’t stay closed and I was told that corporate will not approve for them to fix that, the lock on the patio door is broken, the screen door keeps falling off (and apparently they just don’t fit because I have seen multiple doors like that) and that is not even half of the problems with this place!!!! And safety wise my neighbor told us when we moved in that the night before, her sons car was broken into and last week I woke up to gun shots. When I looked outside of my window there was this young guy with a gun and he ran off when he saw me. Management here does nothing to fix your problems and 9 times out of 10 they don’t even answer the phone!!! To talk to someone you have to physically go to the office and they just keep giving you the same excuses just to get you out of their faces. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND MOVE ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

My husband and I are soon moving to Foxcroft. The service and staff at the leasing office were very profesional, helpful, informative, and they guided us through all the process. My husband and I are very happy to become part of Foxcroft community, we are excited to call it home! Thank you
The staff was useless when I lived there. Too months for maintenance to fix anything. Apartments had mold which they just tried to cover up by painting over it. Ceiling was rotting. Oh and no matter how clean you leave the apartment, they will not give you back your security deposit. For the first few months after you move they will say they are working on it but that's all that's ever said. You never actually get the money back so be prepared to lose money and risk your health. Oh and the walk ways can be very dangerous since they didn't have proper lighting. K often had to use my cell phone just to be able to see to unlock my door. Stay away!!

We are disappointed to see you did not have a more positive experience at Foxcroft Apartments. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to the new management team in place.
Absolutely love that my maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and efficiently. Every time I see the lead maintenance guy, Eric with the hat, he always greets us. Always asks if we need anything. Or how our day was. Very friendly. And very much appreciated. People are always so quick to complain but don't take enough time out to compliment, so here is mine. Keep up the great work and perhaps give Eric a raise because he sets a high standard in service.

Roaches, broken appliances, holes in walls, kitchen cabinets with holes, unfinished bathrooms, etc. I have in writing that they will return my deposit. Three months later, and no refund.
While I was living in another state, I reserved an apartment at Foxcroft. When I arrived at the complex the apartment was full of roaches (in the day time), dishwasher parts were laying on the counter, light bulbs were missing, no deadbolt on the door, no blinds in some of the rooms, missing stove eyes, no lights in the microwave, one kitchen cabinet had a hole punched in it, both toilet seats were broken, the shower curtain rod was missing, the shower head was missing - only a pipe was visible out of the wall, and there was a hole in another wall. When I spoke to the assistant manager and told her I could not bring my family into these conditions as it was not safe for anyone to live, she agreed to return my deposit of almost $1300. I have contacted the owner of the property by email and phone, but have received no response. I still have yet to get my deposit.
This complex is horrible, no enough parking spaces, one day police had the whole complex block off once due to a girl stabbing someone and another due to a tenant robbed at gun point. You can request the crime info from the police dept to confirm my story. And they are other major issues you can search about in Google but overall save you time and money keep yourself safe and stay away
My family and I have been here four years now. When moving in, we filled out a detail sheet about concerns we needed fixed that typically should be fixed within a month of moving in. To put it bluntly, 2 years for a patio and 3 years for a socket that sparks every time that you turn on a light switch is ridiculous. Also the the constant re-occurrence of brown water that has permanently stained the other bathrooms tub. When requesting for the tub to be re-surfaced and the issue looked further into, we were told, and I quote, "The owner has denied your request.......If you decide to get it fixed yourself that is your choice." To avoid arguing, I continued came into the office ask for the request a couple more times but got the same response. To this day the issue has not been fixed. Recently, we had a sink that would not drain not drain and leaked first black liquid, that came up from the drain, then orange. We were told that a plumber was coming, which I waited a solid 36 hours for and never showed up. I am extremely patient but I have my limits. When I call the front desk, I never seem to get an answer, and even funnier, I says the voice mail is full. To add an ever funnier touch to it, the voicemail, when not full, still state the previous managers name who has been gone over 5 months ago. For this sink issue, I have about 4 tickets in, and this is not including a couple others. Some issues, I have had to fix myself due to the total lack of care to fix various issues. Not to mention after checking the completion status when completed, the issues are not really completed. There was once a time when maintenance came in, the would leave a note stating the had come in and did work, but the stopped even informing residents that they would even have come into the residence. The list goes on and continues to grow. I really hope someone from upper management reads this review and enforces rather sooner than later. My honest opinion of this place; this was once a pretty decent place to live that took a cliff dive from its previous glory, and I personally would not recommend this place for anyone to move into. Also if you want a real opinion of the place, don't just drive through it, ask a resident that you come across and get a real opinion.

Thank you for your review and bringing these matters to our attention. We know we have work to do at Foxcroft. We are in the process of addressing outstanding maintenance items as well as other resident concerns. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and will work hard to gain the trust and confidence of our residents. We appreciate you and all of our residents. We look forward to delivering a marked improvement to the community.
I just signed my 3rd lease and upgraded to a renovated apartment. I will say that the change in management seems to be the best so far. I have been through 3 different property managers and I think they finally found a good one. My first year here, I put in a maintenance request with no solution after a year. I had an issue with the air conditioner being taped and the tape would keep coming loose. I advised the previous property manager and I was told that I had to just deal with the tape not working and if it bothered me to put something up against it to keep it together. I lived with that for 2 years and then I upgraded. The previous property manager would tell you anything just to get you out of her office. The new property manager actually listens to you and doesn't make you feel horrible for bringing up issues. She truly wants to fix this property and wants the residents to be happy and ultimately continue their stay. Since April 25th, I have seen a team that shows that they care about the renters concerns and work diligently to fix them. The new management team is very effective and within a couple of weeks, all my maintenance issues were addressed and corrected properly. The maintenance team actually worked through their lunch to complete my water pressure issue. Before, I wouldn't recommend Foxcroft but now, I would most definitely recommend living here.
They been "remodeling" since years ago and the changes are minimal, we just got a new half of play deck (maximum capacity 2 kids), a gym and they have a new office,... that's all. They should remodeling things which really urgently need attention We lacking of nice tennis court, in fact our tennis court looks like a portion of wasteland. Trails pavement are in deplorable conditions these roads showing cracks and holes all over, this is so ignominious. I still do not understand why they raised the price of rent because this place still looking gross and the funny thing is they now charging water separate so we paying more for the same rusty water, overall these resulting a overpriced monthly rent, this place doesn't even worth the half of my actual monthly rent. Also they have forced to all tenants to removed whatever it is on our balconies to make it looks "attractive and pleasant" ... LOL! If they really want to make this place attractive and pleasant first they need to rebuild the whole pavements and make our roads secure to drive, they also need to repaint and fix buildings some are falling a part from the roof.
I am currently going to sign my second year lease. They are remodeling the front office, laundry facility, and adding a workout room. The rates are great best in the Tampa area so far.
They are currently remodeling the office, club house and laundry facility hopefully things will start to look up around here. The service is great and rentel rates are the best in Tampa so far!!
