Staying at Gables Arsenal Street is surely a good experience. The apartments are spacious plus the quiet land tranquil of the community is refreshing.
I have really liked Gables Arsenal St Apartments. I had heard horror stories of large apartment complexes but it’s not the case here. The apartments are well designed, have nice finishes, and any issue there’s an easy way to get it fixed by using the app. I don’t hear loud neighbors in my apartment. I enjoy the shuttle to Harvard Square too— what a nice perk.
I recently had moved to gables, and I must say, it's a fantastic place. What made my experience especially memorable was the exceptional service provided by the property manager, David. His kindness and professionalism are commendable, and he played a significant role in making my visit enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone

I have lived here for two years and I'm still loving it. Everyone is friendly, the office staff is always helpful, and the property is always clean. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

I've been a resident at Gables Watertown for a while now, and I can say that the staff here is truly exceptional. The management team is on top of things, always making sure the property is clean and well-maintained. Whenever I've had an issue or a question, they've been quick to respond and assist. One minor concern is that the pool area can get quite loud at night.
Wonderful leasing managers, specifically Zach, and great amenities. Always quick to help out or help solve a problem. Have lived here for a year and would love to return to a gables property.
I recently moved into this vibrant community, and I am thrilled with my new living area. The design is modern and spacious, with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. The high-quality finishes and fixtures add a touch of luxury to the space. The open concept layout connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas seamlessly, making it perfect for socializing and entertaining.
Great location and close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Pretty quiet community only complaint is the amount of times the fire alarms have gone off throughout the year.

We have enjoyed living here for 3 years. We love the leasing staff. We are giving 3 stars because the community/neighbors are not super friendly and a lot of them are messy (don't pick up after their dogs, leave trash everywhere, smoke in the garage and leave cigarette butts behind, etc.). The rent has more than doubled since we started living here and nothing has been improved.

Great place to live! Very quick maintenance response! Amenities are very clean and easily accessible. The only con is that the floors are very thin, and I can hear my neighbors move across me any step they make. There are sometimes weird smells in the hallways, probably due to the cooking of other residents.
Too hard to say anything bad here at the Gables Arsenal. Good location, good management team and also good maintenance team. 15-20mins to city center or near by place.

In conclusion, my experience living in this apartment has been nothing short of exceptional. The emphasis on cleanliness, the tranquil atmosphere, the outstanding amenities, and the friendly neighbors have made it an unparalleled place to call home.

My husband and I unexpectedly needed to make a major life shift moving out of our single family home to a one floor apt with an elevator. We feel fortunate to have found the Gables, close to home, enabling us to stay in our community. Our apartment is surprisingly pleasant! With its’ high ceilings, light filled, rooms plus airy Juliet balcony door and open concept, our apt feels spacious, welcoming and comfortable. The amenities and beautifully conceived, landscaped green surroundings, including the gorgeous POOL, courtyard, grilling, eating, and conversation spaces, plus “contemplative” courtyard and lush Rain Garden add a connection to the outdoors, essential to apartment living. The indoor common spaces, the living room/kitchen area/pool table (fun!) and theater are wonderful for gatherings and draw us out of our apartment. Most of all, the office staff have been unbelievably helpful, available and responsive to our needs. They have given us great support in our life transition.
The staff here is very responsive - the leasing office folks on-site, Yarley and Zach, are quick to help and get what you need; the maintenance folks, especially the manager Randy, are fast and they fix it the first time. The apartment itself is very nice with high ceilings, lighting, and lots of storage. I also like amenities like the pool (although heated would be better) and the lovely landscaped grounds a lot. My only complaints are: there is very little community feel - there have been 2 resident gatherings in 10 months; guest access is difficult to use so most just give up; the halls have carpet stains that aren’t taken care of even though they are carpet tiles; and we are constantly reminded to be better at using the garage doors instead of them just changing to a system that won’t break all the time. My biggest complaint is they are raising my rent higher than a new tenant could rent the same apartment on the top floor to avoid the noise from people walking above me.
While the apartment complex had some positive aspects, I would only give it three out of five stars overall. One of the most significant issues I experienced was the noise level. The walls were thin, and I could often hear my neighbors' conversations, music, and other noises. There were significant delays in maintenance issues being addressed. Simple issues were resolved quickly, but for more complex problems, like with our washer or dryer, it could take weeks or even months to get a resolution. We often had to place multiple maintenance tickets to remind them to fix the issue. In one instance, the primary manager was unhelpful and unprofessional when I asked for assistance with a maintenance issue, telling me, "I don't know what you want me to do lady, I'm busy," - which was unacceptable. Another problem was the decline in the building's upkeep. Since 2020, the cleanliness of the outdoor areas has taken a significant downturn and continued to go downhill.
Best place to live this side of town. Lots of quiet and superb amenities. Not to mention all the fun places within walking distance. A great place to call home.
We love living at Gables on Arsenal Street. It’s located in the heart of the city with all the necessities within waking distance. The pool and the gym are invaluable. We also love the staff - especially Zach, he is always helpful and positive! Thank you!
??I am very happy to stay here. Really, the level of service and the people are very cooperative. I feel that everyone is my family, especially since I am from Dubai and I have no family or relatives here. But I did not feel alone. Everyone is cooperative and I always feel comfortable. There is no disturbance or problems, and the place is very clean. In all honesty, the building is excellent in all aspects. There is no default. I love living here with my two children. Thank you

We have loved living here. We decided to renew for 15 months because of how well the experience has been. Maintenance and leasing staff have been excellent for our first-year lease.
Love living here! Staff is great and always helpful. My one complaint is the thin walls and being able to hear neighbors who are noisy above and across the hallways .

We have been here for about 3 years and love the gables community! Our home has high ceilings and stainless steel appliances. The only con is the prices to lease keep going up - went up about 20% in one year.
Two years in and the leasing staff and maintenance/facilities team are world class. The transition from NYC to MA was a bit overwhelming but the team made it easy to feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you!
My tour here at Gables Arsenal Street was awesome. Zach was very prepared and answered all my questions. The building was very nice as well. I cannot wait for May availability so I can come back for another visit as I’m strongly considering Gables as my new home!

My experience at Gables Arsenal Street was awesome! The leasing staff is super helpful and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Maintenance is also pretty great and have completed any work orders I have submitted. If you are looking for a wonderfully maintained building and even more amazing staff I would suggest booking a tour and checking it out yourself.

Gables was great until the construction started. Now, despite helpful staff and great maintenance service, it is an overpriced, miserable place to live. You will be awoken every day, including Saturdays at 7:15 AM by loud and screeching construction, and your reward for enduring this will be a beautiful rent increase.

I loved living here when I first moved. However, after a few people left the leasing office and the team shifted, it has been awful. They failed to file my lease renewal, which causes me a month to month charge, that I had to have someone else in the office fix. Then I gave them my updated renters insurance which they failed to file and asked me for 2 months later. I had a few items that needed to be addressed in my apartment, and the communication between management and the maintenance crew was nonexistent. Also in Dec2020, they moved a new resident into the unit next to mine. Their living room and my bedroom share a wall. I have been living in this space since June2019 and never had a problem. Starting in Dec 2020 I have numerous complaints with video to the office. They have told me there is nothing else they can do, that I should reevaluate my expectations, and that this is simply apartment living. I have been in 4 cities, 3 states and 5 apartment complexes, and I have never encountered a neighbor as inconsiderate as the one in 416. She has a Sonos sound system which emits low tonal bass through my walls. She has made my living experience an absolute nightmare. THe Gables has refused to let me out of my lease, only offering a transfer. They don’t care about the person, only the money. Don’t waste your time here. Everyone I know is moving out.
