The Triangle, also known as Triangle State, is a modern community in north-central Austin offering an array of upscale conveniences. The Triangle is home to a bevy of luxury apartments, restaurants, shops, and medical facilities just east of Rosedale and a few miles north of UT Austin.

Property Ratings at Gables Central Park Texas
When you tour the Gables Central Park, they show you the model. The model is pristine and newly renovated. I did not see my unit until move-in date and it was much more dated than the model. The bathroom is particularly dated and I do not enjoy taking showers in it sadly. The tub and wall have that paint you use to flip a property quickly and it looks gross. I had draws that were hanging off because of previous wear and tear. Parking: I pay for covered parking. 65 dollars a month and someone keeps parking in my spot. I have brought this to the leasing office’s attention and they have no idea who it is or what to do about it, completely inept! I ask for a refund for the two months I have been unable to park there and they said they cannot refund even though they cannot fix the problem. The perks: community and maintenance is nice.
Great community to live, staff are friendly and responsive. Maintenance staff are prompt and communicative. Grounds are kept tidy and taken care of well.
Lots to love here. Beautiful park in the backyard, cute pool, friendly staff, walking distance to some shops and a grocery store. The maintenance guys are always great. Only negatives in a year and a half of living here are the price and a car break in that happened a while ago, but that happens all over Austin.
We love this place and hope to be here a while. The staff from the office to maintenance are alway so professional and polite. The grounds always look great!
The Central Park Gables is a calm, quiet, green, clean, nice and very pleasant community. Staff is always courteous, ancco and kind. A true pleasure.
The location of this apartment is great. Everything else is either mediocre or poor. The units have very thin walls and no hardwood floors in the bedrooms/living areas. The gym is pathetic. The appliances, especially the air conditioners, are old and break constantly. I lived at Gables for 20 months and had two A/C units break. They'll also lie to you about the condition of the apartment you're moving into, and they'll screw you over on your security deposit.
Renovations are really nice. Walk in shower, fancy decorative countertops, useful faucets, plenty of storage space. Swim all around circumference of swimming pool. Kept very clean.
Great park, walking distance to stores, restaurants, medical places. Fun swimming pool, fitness center. Many, many dogs. Nice views. Walk-in shower. Decorative countertops.
I love this place! Michelle, Matt and Grady and the Maintenance crew are all so awesome. The grounds alway look great! The only thing that would be nice is, if people would clean up after their dogs and keep them on their leashes. I always recommend this place to friends and we hope to be here for a while

A great place to call home. The complex is pretty, there’s a huge park directly behind it for your pups, and the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Nowhere is perfect (there were car break-ins a while ago and they still won’t add cameras for some reason) but I’m very glad I chose Gables when I moved to TX.
Overall everything has been pretty good. The move in was the worst part. Much of the apartment was not ready for move in and my car got broken into within a month of living here. But aside from that everything has been pretty good. Maintenance staff is the best, but it would be much appreciated if they weren't required to inspect the inside of our apartment every 3 months. You can't beat this location with the park in the backyard too.

Gables Central Park is the best apartment community I've ever lived in. The long-time management and maintenance staff are experienced and friendly. Location is perfect for shopping and transit. The Central Park right behind it has turtles and ducks and herons. It's great for students, retirees, and medical staff of nearby hospitals.
I have been here for 10 years now and would not plan to live anywhere else. We have a great maintenance team and friendly, helpful folks at the Leasing Center, plus a prime location. Prior to Covid-19, we had occasional community gatherings and events, complimentary coffee in the Leasing center, etc., all very helpful in getting to know our neighbors. But I don't know if they will ever return--I miss that.
I am thrilled to call Gables-Central Park in Austin my home! The community offers an array of incredible amenities that make everyday living a delight. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The location is ideal, with convenient access to nearby parks, shopping, and dining options. Super duper place to live. Well maintained trash area which is important. Clean swimming pool. Landscaping kept up very nicely. Friendly, helpful staff.

This has been the best apartment experience I’ve ever had. I had to move a lot over the last few years and this has been the smoothest transition with the most helpful and truly caring office staff I’ve ever experienced. This may be the first lease I actually renew!
Moving in was not a pleasant experience. The apartment was not completely for us. On top of that, they do many inspections on your home throughout the year, more than I've ever experienced from a complex. The pros are the location. You can't beat this spot in central Austin next to the park and Central market. Perfect for dog walks, turtle feeding, and relaxing. The maintenance staff has been great with us. Shout out to Ken who is always friendly and thorough with the work requests. He teaches me how to do things on my own as well.

Given the location, the excellent maintenance service and the helpfulness of the folks at the Leasing Center, the Gables is an excellent place to live. I am a bit concerned about sustained affordability going forward especially for people who are as permanent as any apartment renter can be.

location is nice but the building is quite old so it can’t block all the noises. so we have been using earplugs and noise canceling headphones.
Gables Central Park is a great place to live. The staff is wonderful. It’s close to everything with easy access to UT and downtown via bus. Lots of great places to walk and the park is great for dogs. I’ve lived here for over seven years and love it.
In my opinion, most of the positive comments about this apartment are true. I enjoyed those benefits. However, if you are considering moving in, please be aware of a serious issue in the unit located in building 4 (4XXX), which will be available this summer (2023). The tenant living downstairs has been playing loud, bass-heavy music with a high-powered speaker since moving in last autumn (2022). He even plays a full set of drums. Although the maintenance staff makes an effort to keep the building clean and safe, the floors and walls are not sound-proof and are vulnerable to shocks and vibrations because of their old age. As a result, every time the bass-heavy music is on, you will feel the vibrations and hear a loud thumping sound reverberating throughout the apartment. Unfortunately, noise-canceling headphones cannot easily cancel out this noise. It feels like my buttocks are sitting on his speaker, absorbing all those vibrations. Despite the manager's multiple attempts to stop this behavior for several months, the person continues to play loud music. Due to favorable laws and regulations for tenants, the management office is hesitant to take any drastic measures as long as the rent is paid on time. Intended or not, they are kicking the can down the road. I believe that the management office should take more action to address this issue, and I don't want to see anyone else become a victim of this disruptive neighbor. Therefore, before signing any lease agreement for this unit, I urge you to check with the management office. I hope my comment raises awareness of the situation without encouraging those who want to play loud music without facing any penalties.
Great location for me!!! The staff is amazing and any maintenance requests are usually taken care of the same day. All in all, living here has been a positive experience.
Gables Central is wonderful! I love the friendly neighbors while out on a walk and staff as they shout out a friendly hello. Lovely place to call home.
Most everything we need is within walking distance from our front door. We enjoy walking the pond. and seeing the changing flora and fauna.
It's nice here but I think they could use some quality control. The flooring to our shower has been peeling a lot and it doesn't seem to stay when they relined it. The maintenance guys are awesome and friendly
I have had a great experience so rar with everyone in the office and the maintenance crew. So fare evryone has been so polite, professional and attentive at all our issues.
Maintenance is great. Moving in was not the best experience, the apt wasn't finished on our move in date. There's no propane grills and you can't use your own. Staff is very friendly. Location is beautiful. But since our spot got forcefully broken into and we were robbed within a month of living here, it makes us feel uneasy about the area. It's not as safe as it appears. The complex said they will not install cameras to potentially deter robberies to add to our unease.
I couldn’t be in a more comforting home/area. I have 0 complaints! Everything I was expecting when I moved in has been exactly that and none the less. Thank you Gables!!
I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far here for the past 3-4 months. The location is fabulous & everyone and friendly and chill. Parking is never a problem very safe.

Beautiful surroundings with a nature park full of birds, fish, turtles, herons, egrets, owls, hawks. Nice swimming pool for laps, Aqua Yoga.

Other than somewhat steep increases in rent, I am very pleased with each aspect of living at the Gables: a great location, a friendly and helpful Leasing Center team and a very responsive and capable maintenance crew. I will be here as long as I can afford it! But I will add that I miss the community activities which we abundant in the past and helpful in getting to know neighbors. Since the pandemic, it seems like nothing has been done to foster a sense of community.
Great apartment and great maintenance staff. People in the office are also always very helpful. The only thing I would say is that rent needs to come down. Much to high at this point.

I have had a few maintenance issues and they have been addressed very quickly I have also been out of town when I had a package delivered and they were able to pick it up for me to assure porch pirates didn’t take them.
I am into my 5th year here at Gables Central Market. This year I moved into a newly renovated apartment not far from where I was before. It is very nice and in a good location for me. The office staff and maintenance people here are helpful and professional and kind. I really like living here.
My husband and I lived here for an year. And while our experience living there was average, it has turned into a nightmare after moving out!! We wish we had listened to the other reviews about getting "nickel and dimed" for damages on move out! THEY CHARGED US $1423 ON MOVE-OUT, including $928 FOR CARPET REPLACEMENT (for two small stains we had due to normal wear and tear in one room, which could be easily cleaned by shampooing of carpet) and $400 FOR BATHTUB RESURFACING (which was in similar condition to what we received on move-in). Upon requesting reason for entire apartment's carpet replacement and proof of replacement, they have not given any satisfactory answers! Please BEWARE before leasing this place!! Apart from having literally no good amenities (a small gym that can barely fit 3-4 people with scare equipment, and a small pool that's dirty most of the times), they have nothing good to offer except location.
We love living at Gables Central Park! Lovely property and Central Park is amazing. Proximity to Central Market and other walkable conveniences. Quiet neighbors, great maintenance and management team.
Looks nice on the outside but does not live up to it on the inside. Maybe the remodeled units are better but you're better off looking elsewhere for an apartment. Over priced for what you get. Plus management is mean, they don't really care about you. You'll be nothing but a number here.
