Property Ratings at Gables Park Tower
Gables Park Tower has been amazing! The location is very walkable and the staff is very friendly and helpful whenever you need them. We lived on the 4th floor, facing the Sandra Muraida Street, which was very convenient to all the amenities/garage parking. We had no issues with street noise so that was a relief!! Definitely recommend if you’re looking to live in a nice place in downtown :). This was our first place in Austin after relocating from NY… only leaving because we purchased our first home.
Gables is the best!!! Every part of living at a Gables property is top notch. My entire experience from looking for the perfect apartment to move in has been perfect.
Only a few days in but this place has been wonderful so far. The whole staff is truly incredible. I’ve never lived somewhere where I’ve felt so welcome by the team and neighbors alike. The building is great and you couldn’t ask for much more in the amenities.
I am so excited to join the community at Gables Park Tower. It should go without saying that the location is the best in the city: access to the trail, walking distance to downtown (without the usual congestion), and quick city exit via MoPac or 1-35. But, that it not the best part. What is so great about Gable Park Plaza are the staff and residents. Everyone is genuinely friendly and respectful. I am falling in love with Austin all over again.
The amenities are outstanding and the concierge service is stellar. The concierge is always so helpful and attentive. I love the doggie treats at the desk.
Great team to work with! Made the process really easy and smooth. They are always available to answer questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of

ReLly like living here but sometime the train noise can be a little but distracting. Glad the scaffolding is finally down. Also miss package pick up.
I just really love how I feel so safe and taken care of by the Gables Park Tower Team. Any issue that I've had has been resolved in a matter of minutes to hours. Really appreciate the care they put into making our building feel like a home.

Smooth move-in and leasing office made setting everything up very easy. maintenance was great addressing small issues very quickly. I had a small Bluetooth speaker issue and an ice machine issue. Rolando quickly addressed this and was very kind keeping me informed

I'm enjoying a lot living in Gables Park Tower !!! Nice place to stay in Austin. Outstanding location and view. Downtown in a walking distance and easy access to restaurants and recreative public areas.
Overall this is a great place to live. The units and amenities are really nice and the staff is super friendly and helpful. My only complaint if I have one is that there is a slightly annoying amount of maintenance (needing to come in your unit, water shut offs, etc) that never seem to run on schedule, but that is likely also why the building is so nice. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to live in downtown.
Moving in to The Gables Park Tower was the best decision. From the moment I walked into the building (without an appointment), I was greeted by Rendell, the most friendly and professional Leasing Agent. The next day, I brought my husband back (this time with an appointment) and we agreed the location is great and exactly the right amount of space for our needs. Rendell made the process of signing all documents extremely easy and most efficient. When we moved in, the apartment was immaculate, there was a thoughtful welcome note from the staff along with a gift bag containing a few starter items, which was unexpected and so appreciated - such a nice touch. There were a few things that needed maintenance attention and they were all professionally and courteously taken care of immediately The staff is excellent, the building is well kept and the residents are respectful and friendly (with lots of cute dogs). Everything is being fantastic ! I'm really enjoying the community, the apt and the services. The view is incredible ! The neighbourhoods are great, with a good variety of shopping that looks like to be improving. So fa no complains !
Great location and community. We have loved living here and plan to continue to renew for the foreseeable future. The only downside of the entire building is the train tracks that go along the building can get annoying on busy days.
Recently moved in and am in love with the amenities. I face the west and while you can hear the train, it isn’t that bad and easy to get used to. Love the walkability factor, so worth it!!

The staff response is amazing! Everyone really does go the extra mile here. We certainly made the right choice. My only complaint are the trains crazy loud screeching as they make this Corner. lol
I have had a great experience thus far. Everyone in the building is so nice, great location, and the amenities are great. Only downside is that the pool has been under construction the past few weeks/months with no indication of when it will be done.
Make sure to sort the reviews by date. The building used to be nice but it has changed for the worse. The management does not act like they care about the tenants at all, it takes weeks to get a response for the simplest email. The building has completely misrepresented this property. When touring the building I was told about monthly tenant events, the coffee nook, and specific concierge hours. These were all significant deciding factors. None turned out to be true. They are terrible at staffing and often there is no concierge during concierge hours. There are hardly any tenant events, I have been in the building nearly a year and have only seen one tenant event with one pitcher of alcohol (for all the tenants?). They've cut even the most basic services like taking UPS packages for the UPS driver to pickup. There are so many nice buildings in Austin, there is no reason to move to this one.
Moved in at the end of April and received a very poor experience so far within my first month as a resident. For the pricing and location you can receive much better customer service from the leasing staff and value for your money if you rent from another apartment complex in the area. I would not refer anyone to lease here and look elsewhere. Pros: beautiful amenities, good location, ample parking. Cons: 1. THIN walls so you hear every aspect of your neighbors lives 2. Train comes right by the building constantly throughout the day and night and is very loud 3. Leasing Office staff will never return your call, especially if it involves an important matter when you are harassed by your neighbor 4. My fridge water filter required replacement in less than 3 weeks of moving in and when I submitted a maintenance request they said I had to pay for my own water filter. Water filters don't need to be replaced except for once every 3 to 6 months so they expected me to cover what the previous renter used. Can't imagine what else they didn't replace from the previous renter before my move in. Overall: POOR EXPERIENCE Reason for Rating: 1 star for Value for Money & Customer Service

The views and downtown area are great. It is walking distance to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. The location is great but not worth the premium price, especially with an extremely loud train going by every hour or so. There has been a large lack of communication from staff regarding policy and policy changes over the past few months. Monthly newsletters have been promised, but have not been fulfilled. There are some residents that smoke on their balconies and close to the building so that makes me not want to have guests visit or raise children here. Common areas are often unclean.

- Communication from management: unprofessional (copy-paste errors, spelling, grammar), delays (usually 4-7 days wait for a reply, if you get one), confrontational, and condescending - Air: cannot enjoy your balcony or leave your balcony door open without second-hand smoke wafting in - Water: clean water not included in rent as residents are responsible for replacement cost of a refrigerator water filter - Noise: 100 decibel train every 1-2 hours, District Cooling Plant construction, downtown office building construction - ADA: no automatic door opener at street entrance; no apartment doorbell or strobe light; requirement of strict, non-confidential justifications for a service animal - Family: not family-friendly with smoking condoned and a noisy train adversely affecting babies/children sleep and cochlea. we have to sleep with a white noise machine - Fire: no fire extinguisher provided in the apartment
