Weekly car break ins, loud music night after night, entire 1st and 2nd floor flooded mold is forming, ghost town on 1st floor due to pipe burst, no elevators since pipe burst one small far away elevator left if it breaks we will be screwed. Hallway smells like dogs and dog poo and pee, no resident events ever, no way to get food delivered to your unit you must go outside to meet door dash, WORST PLACE WE ALL LIVED IN OUR LIFE.
If you value your sleep this is not the place for you. Smoke alarm goes off every wk sometimes more than once a wk at the most inconvenient times. 2am 5 am smh. It’s very concerning because people are so used to it going off that they don’t even leave their apartments. One day that will be a big mistake. Management does not acknowledge why the alarm goes off so often in the dead of night
You people have to be kidding me. It’s not enough to announce random apartment entries with minimal notice, and then again a week later with less than 76 hours notice, it’s not enough to constantly fail to meet the most basic of expectations when it comes to providing livable quarters, it’s not enough to have to harass every occupant of the leasing office endlessly to resolve the simplest of issues, but now I have an unannounced water cutoff? Again? I thought our issues ended when the mold problem in my bathroom was finally (temporarily) resolved after several weeks of “negotiation”. I understand maintenance, but how long can this go on? Every second of my experience here has been an absolute nightmare that I have paid exorbitant prices for. I want whoever is reading this to please heed my warning; this is the absolute worst decision that you can make for yourself or your family. DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED. Fair warning. The best part is, based on prior conversations everyone who has made the mistake of giving you people their hard-earned money will agree. Don’t believe me? ASK ANYONE THAT YOU SEE WHEN YOU TOUR.
They have installed multiple car charging stations (8 ) on Floor 2 of parking garage. There has been 1 car using the stations. Unable to find parking on my floor (2) due to threat of towing if we use spots designated for charging. It is rediculous!!
The maintence staff are the best! Proactive and reactive whenever requested! Always come to the apartment with a smile on their faces! Thank you to the whole team!
Living at Gables Post Oak has been a pleasant experience so far. The staff in the office is very attentive and helpful when unlikely situations arise.

I love living here. The manager Adrian is amazing. My yard is so awesome.this is my first time inner loop. I would recommend to everyone. Post oak is amazing!
The place is good. The gym and pool are awesome and something I use all the time. It’s nice being close to shops and restaurants too. Most apartments have great views. The staff and maintenance are friendly
You are charged for multiple services whether you use them or not. The amenities don’t suit the needs of the residents. They recently added over a dozen EV chargers yet I’ve only seen 1 being used. With the increase in car break-ins and people randomly pulling the fire alarm for no reason it would be nice to see more security cameras in the garage & hallways. The manager is unapproachable and rude. The maintenance team is their saving grace. Great guys.
Good well maintained interiors. Leasing office agents work towards getting issues resolved in timely manner. Lease agreement preparation and executing is a breeze.
I’m loving it here so far I love the fact that the pool is salt water . The music in the hallways adds a nice touch . The indoor dog park was a great idea and most importantly jasmine was a great big help and very sweet she made us feel so welcome
Good place to live in. Would recommend for anyone looking to live in Uptown/Galleria side of Houston. Area for improvement is updating the lounge.
Have been here for 2 years now and I love it the pool is one of a kind I have not seen one as nice yet! Huge, gets lots of sun, and has nice grill area!
I love our maintenance and cleaning staff. They are always so friendly and do a fantastic job with the building. The grounds are well kept and maintained.
Overall I like the space and the manager is welcoming and responsive to questions that residents have. I like that there are safety meetings and other incentives to bring people together
The staff here is wonderful! Jasmine walked us through the entire process and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I would recommend this establishment to all of my friends and family.
I have resided at Gables Post Oak for 3 1/2 years and it has been a very good experience. The Management Team is professional and always friendly. I cannot say enough about the Maintenance Team. They are the best! I am always very proud to give friends & family a tour of the beautiful property. The location is ideal for me as well. Central to so many choices for restaurants and shopping. Not only in the immediate area but a short distance from the Downtown, The Heights & Upper Kirby. Great place to call home.

I have had a great experience at the gables post oak. I love my apartment , the neighborhood is great as well as the amenities. Staff is friendly and i have not had any issues since moving here
I lived here 3 years ago and decided to come back. Staff is amazing. && i have amazing nice neighbors. It’s also very quiet here which I love. I was worried that the atmosphere would change and it didn’t. Also have restaurants and shopping stores walking distance. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Super quiet place. Neighbors are the best, always ready to help with feeding your pets when out of town. I’m happy to have such great neighbors.
I’ve called The stables home for over 5 years and love the area and the property.I often use the pool, grills, gym and like that they are all kept in working condition. I also enjoy the food trucks that come each week.
Overall, a great apartment with great staff and maintenance. I feel like there are constant things that need maintenance requests in the apartment, but the maintenance staff does at great job at the repairs. The amenities are good, but I have submitted multiple requests to have the bike seat in the fitness center fixed with no help. I highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a apartment to live in a good area, good amenities, and overall not too pricey.
Recently renewed for our 6 years. We love the maintenance team here & how responsive and kind they are. The amenities help us to wind down from work and relax, the pool is amazing and we love the fire pits (when it is cool enough to use them!).
The community has gone down… they added an amenity fee that everyone has to pay for. They used to have flat screen computers and they used to have a vending machine. I still have bugs in my apartment.
The location is nice, the apartment is spacious, and the area is slightly walkable. The amenities could be improve or updated. The pool is closed every Monday and a lot things need to be repaired or deep cleaned. Package delivery is accepted via third party which is difficult if someone mails you something unexpectedly or the package is not via usps or too big then you will never get it. The staff is friendly but can be accusatory. They throw an event once a month to create space for residents to interact. Maintenance is slow and the two month before my renewal was due they did not complete any of my maintenance request.
Helpful and friendly management. Building is in a nice and quiet area. Some of the paint could use a touch up. Overall, it is a great place to live.
I really enjoyed living at gables, I lived 3 years & I didn’t want to move till I buy a house. Everything was great, Pool, gym, rooftop. The good thing is I lived 3 years and never got an insects in my apartment.
I love living here! I rarely have maintenance requests, the views are great, the building is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. No loud neighbors either. I also haven’t ever felt unsafe here!

Hello I want to start by saying that Gables Post Oak is amazing this is my experience so far. I just moved in today and I must say. I have no complaints the staff is very friendly and down to earth the apartment is very luxurious and high quality.
This is a very awesome apartment complex and best community I've been part of. I would definitely recommend this place for my friends or to anyone looking for a new place to live
Management is ok. You can see that they try, which is good. I feel like they don't handle very well people's complaints. Case and point, our hallway smelled like marijuana. Not sure where it came from, but one of our neighbors must of suspected that we were the cause. Now we do not smoke at all. Well management decided to place a letter under our door accusing us of the problem and that it was our first warning. We explained to them that it wasn't us. That experience just left a bad taste in my mouth because it could of been handled so much better and resolved differently. Now, this is very specific scenario and I hope it never happens to anyone else but it is was very frustrating. Outside of that, the community is ok. It's quiet. The walls are thick so you don't hear your neighbors. The pool is really nice when it's open. The amenities are ok otherwise. The location is great and the individual apartments are really pretty nice considering how old this building is.
Gables is a wonderful place. The community is clean and up to date, the staff is absolutely wonderful, especially leasing agent Jasmine. You would want to live here !

Just recently signed my 4th year lease. I love this property and the team that manages it. The Maintenance Team is the best! Professional & always so courteous. I work literally 3 minutes from home. Location is key.
This place has changed significantly in the past year and not for the better. They let anyone in now. Safety is a concern. The new manger is rude and lacks customer service. They charge for every little thing. Hallways dirty. No pest control but they charge you for it every month. This place is overpriced and is slowly going downhill. The only plus is the location & maintenance staff.
The amenities are going down in quality. There is only one elliptical that works in the gym. Overall though, I love living here and love the location.
Long time resident, but had enough. Pros- good location, maintenance is quick and kind Cons- In the past week, we’ve had three lost packages, a physical fight between residents in the hall where they set off the fire extinguisher, and had our Valet Trash not picked up twice. We’re required to use Fetch for all packages. In the past week, we had three packages lost and not delivered. Fetch doesn’t have an active help line. If you get sent a gift, Gables office say you will be contacted, however I’ve had two gifts that I wasnt expecting returned to sender. I’ve been here for several years and have noticed a decrease in quality of residents and care from management. Won’t be renewing the lease.
My move in experience was amazing! Natalie was such a class act! Every question I had she made sure I had answers and was so flexible for my needs (within reason). I’m so happy to be here! Thank you for all you do!
Great living experience ! The community is clean and the service team fixes things within a 24-48 period. So that is very helpful and they are very kind . Neighbors are nice too!

Love it here! Maintenance is quick and management is quick to fix issues! There’s an issue with people cleaning up after their pets but that’s not a reflection of the apartment.
I’ve lived at Gables for approximately eight months! I love my apartment and the sweeping views from every room. The office staff and maintenance staff are very kind. Considering the number of apartments in the building I expected to see more residents. It’s nice to know they’re there yet it’s so quiet with the exception of the four legged neighbors.
