Property Ratings at Gables Residences
I have lived at Gables Residences in Cherry Creek, Denver for a few years. The experience was wonderful in the beginning but grows worse due to a lack of maintenance and unresponsive management. (The concierge staff are a third party company and are quite good). I am breaking my lease because I have a master bedroom window that is constantly wet in winter and continually grows mold. It’s been three winters without a fix. They either cannot or will not resolve the issue and have not offered any other remedy. I am faced with paying a month’s rent to be released from this situation.
Moved in a few months ago, have had a great experience. Building is clean and taken care of, office staff are friendly and helpful, and our unit is great. Wonderful community and super happy to choose gables.
Amazing staff, accommodations, amenities and location. I loved living here. I can’t say enough about the Gables Residences. I hope to return one day.
Gables is a fantastic residence located in Denver’s cherry creek area. The building is modern, well kept and quiet. Neighbors are respectful.
Overall the apartments and amenities are nice. Staff is extremely friendly and personable. Building is usually pretty quiet and not much to complain about.
Best Front Desk Service! Always greeted by name will help with anything! My dogs love it here. The building is very clean and quiet easy walk to tennis, shopping etc.
I love this building. Janice and Robert are always willing to help and offer a warm smile! I wish people would take better care by being mindful of trash/recycling and cleaning up after their pets. Other than that, it’s a pretty great community.
Gables is in a great location, has great amenities, and has very friendly front desk staff. The apartment is just as nice as I expected it to be prior to move-in. Worth every penny!
The facilities are very nice. I just wish we had maintenance staff to keep everything running properly. We can’t seem to keep our maintenance people on staff.
The building and units are some of the nicest and biggest in town. The location is excellent and the staff are friendly. However, the building lacks amenities to justify the high rent price. I.e. sauna, golf simulator, etc…

Smooth move in and everyone was very helpful. Freight elevator was available during the time we needed it and it made everything quick and simple.
Management is weak. Will not respond to my emails anymore. Front handicap door has been broken for 1.5 years and they have refused to fix it. I am often locked out of the building because of it. Concierge is not at their desk so I missed a delivery. Air conditioning breaks constantly and they never service just add Freon after 4-5 days of having no air. Let their only maintenance person go because they pay too low. Raise rent 9% when building is falling apart. Management says they will fix things but are lying. Been writing management for 7 months now and they say they have no budget to repair things. Some are safety issues. Let elevators go uninspected for 2 years. Loose tiles at the pool which are dangerous. Pool always a cloudy mess. Only 1 grill out of 4 works.Fireplaces do not work. Overflowing garbage in garage out outside. Halls only vacuumed every 2 weeks and this is a pet building. Building is only 4 years old. It’s a pig with lipstick.
Living here feels safe, modern and clean. I feel at home when I am here. The concierge is extremely helpful and always available. I would like to see this website used more so I can rack up more points.
Overall the facilities are nice and generally well kept. Concierge staff is incredible, very friendly and helpful. Apartment complex is quiet and few issues.
Great amenities. Great finishes in apartment. Great concierge personnel. Love the pool and hot and rooftop views. Like when you have events (e.g, Tequila tasting).
Love it here. A little expensive but the parking is nice. Poor security cameras in the garage though. Not very secure. Also they removed the free coffee maker. The outdoor tiles are not heated like they claim. Most of the staff is awesome btw
Every time we arrive we are greeted by name! Our dogs adore Robert as well! The building is clean and quiet. Very helpful in handling packages and deliveries when we are not here. All around wonderful building

I have been here longer than many others, so I can say that the amenities offered here now compared to when I moved in has changed a lot. I still love my place and like what exists, but seems as if every year amenities are diminishing.

Gables is a great community l. It is in walking distance to many local shops and stores. They always have events for the residents. I will continue to live here as long as the great quality of service continues
The front desk and maintenance team are very helpful, polite and professional. We are struggling with the generally poor communication and negativity of the leasing manager. He arbitrarily and with no communication abolished the practice of residents being able to sign out an additional key fob for the use of guests, which left my son locked out of our apartment and unable to care for our dog when we had to suddenly go out of town. The concierge spoke with my wife and let her know he had left a note for the manager requesting a key. We then discovered that the manager never even told the front desk team that he had changed the policy. The manager was unapologetic and defensive and told us that he changed the policy because "people didn't return the key." There was a charge for people to sign out the spare key and the keys can be deactivated if not returned in a timely manner. I am disappointed that communication from the manager is sparse and condescending.
When we first found this place we were very excited to move in here. The amenities, the restaurants, the location all had a great impact on us to make a decision to say yes to Gables Cherry Creek. The weather was still nice so we were able to spend time by the pool and enjoy the sunset. After six months in we started noticing the building didnt get the proper care it should for the amount of money we pay in rent. The cushions by the pool were sometimes wet with snow , even in the summer the pool cushions were stained, dusty and sometimes wet. A lot of times the sidewalks are dirty with poop, the dog poop disposal is full most of the time. The cleaning lady usually mops the elevator and lobby area leaving it wet with chemicals which are not good for the dogs . I am sure if she didnt spend most of her time on the phone she would be able to do her job better. unfortunately we noticed that management doesn’t take the initiative to take care of this building unless we complain about it.
I love it here! Great amenities, lovely staff, and condo-grade quality. i just renewed my lease for another year. Definitely recommend the complex.
Love the quietness and the maintenance upkeep. The building was made very quickly so somethings break easily or fall apart out of nowhere. One very annoying thing I have to say is getting your Amazon package is 50/50 — for some reason the carriers deliver many packages to the wrong address half the time. It is a common problem amongst many residence and the staff is aware of it.
I love living here. The staff are phenomenal and the facilities are great. The location is perfect. My apartment is light and bright and new. My neighbors are considerate and friendly. Being so close to Cherry Creek Trail and downtown Cherry Creek is ideal. My puppy and I enjoy walking the trail and then grabbing a coffee on the way home. Gables Residences is ideal.

We came in to tour a unit advertised online. I received pricing on the unit from the leasing agent the same day as well. Immediately upon completing our tour the price "suddenly" changed and had gone up hundreds of dollars. The apartments and building are beautiful however I am not sure I have confidence in the leasing team and fear pricing and fees would constantly be a moving target and switched up on us last minute. There are many other beautiful apartments in cherry creek as well in similar price ranges that are more reliable when it comes to pricing and sticking to what they tell you and advertise.

Gables is a terrible management company and the Residences is outdated and overpriced. The amenities are tiny and not worth the price that you pay for the apartment. If you want to spend money on a luxury apartment, then Residences is not the place to go, look at other properties and you will easily see the difference in service.

Moved here 2 months ago and love the place! A great building and a great location. Large bed rooms, quality appliances, high end finishings, spectacular views from the lounge and pool, nice sized gym and additional common area courtyard with fires, TV and putting green. On site management always approachable and 24 hour concierge very friendly and helpful. Grocery stores, restaurants, bars, all within with 5 minutes.
