The gables has been a fantastic place to live. I have easy access to the city and the mountains! Everything is super clean and everyone is really nice!
The garage door is broken frequently with delayed communication. Upstairs neighbors are always loud. Rent increases every year despite no additional amenities/benefits to the renters. You would think at the price we are paying we’d at least have a hot tub. Pool was closed for half of summer.

Moving into our new place was a breeze! The complex was super accommodating and made the whole process easy for us. We're absolutely loving our new space. The amenities are top-notch, and the location is perfect. The staff has been friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We couldn't be happier with our decision to move here. Random 25 lifestyle fee with no explanation. Garage doors are consistently broken at least once a month. No longer receive notification when leasing had a package so it’s a guessing game. No benefit for long term renting. Maintenance and management constantly changing.
We have absolutely loved living here the past 3 years! The entire staff is so kind and helpful, the amenities are amazing, they have fun and frequent events for the residents and the units / building is beautiful.
I’ve lived here for 4 years and love it! I’ve lived in 3 different units and all have been great. The Location is ideal and the building is well maintained.
I love my unit but the community with the newest staff has gone down hill big time. I don't think the stairwells have ever been cleaned - they're so bad now there are build-ups of animal hair, mud/dirt, trash and who knows what, they're gross! Except for the leasing agent that sits out front, the two staff members in the offices are rude and incompetent. I had a package that I crucially needed for work that they never notified me about - three months later she said, "oh, you've had a package in back for a while." Set me back a week and almost lost the client when the package was here the whole time. I was livid. If you've been looking a package everyday for that long, when does it finally dawn on you to, I don't know - DELIVER IT?!?
It’s been great! I’ve been living here the last 2 months and it’s my favorite apartment complex so far! I’m sure I’ll be very happy here the next year!
Initially left a five star review, and we are in our third year currently living here. Unfortunately, over the last year, prices have substantially gone up with multiple significant issues arising within Gables as well. Specifically, one of the two garage doors has been broken consistently over the last few months at Gables, monthly events where drinks, catering, and other amenities that were offered for free almost never occur anymore, and the pool that is advertised as heated is not. The apartments are beautiful, but at this point the steep increase in rent is difficult to explain away with many consistent issues in the apartment complex as well.
Just renewed my lease for the 3rd time. Best place to live in Denver. The location is the best. You're close to everything and avoid the crazy traffic and quick access to main roads.
One of the garage doors is almost always broken, can be hit or miss on how quickly it’s fixed. There seems to have been a lot of turnover in our front office recently and communication hasn’t been as good as it used to be. A relatively quiet community compared to living in lodo/rino. Rent increases significantly every year and eventually it won’t be worth it to live here especially with everything aforementioned, a tiny gym, no hot tub.
Maintenance very available. Building overall safe. Somewhat affordable. Amenities are just ok. Issues with garage doors regularly. Keypad access does not always work for visitors but sometimes it does. Would rec living here if prices remain reasonable.
Gables has been an awesome experience for me. The building is safe, they are on top of maintenance and I feel at home staying here. The amenities make it worth the price!
Living at Gables on Speer has been a wonderful experience. Maintenance is taken care of swiftly, hallways are clean, and our neighbors are lovely! It’s obvious that the leasing team puts care into everything they do and it’s so reassuring.
I have been waiting over SIX months for a kitchen drawer replacement, amongst many other maintenance issues in my unit and throughout the building. I will not be renewing my lease.
I’ve lived here for one year now. The amenities here are second to none. I can honestly say this is the best building I’ve lived in so far! 5 stars!
Solid apartment complex with friendly staff. Pool area is just so-so (not positioned well) and the 2nd garage breaks down quite frequently. Other than that, I've enjoyed living here.

The property managers are wonderful. The apartments are very nice and cozy. The amenities are amazing as well. I was worried it may be noisy at night due to location, but it’s been just fine!

Lived here for a bit over 5.5 years The good : The location is great, within walking distance and/or easy drive of very attractive area amenities. The building itself has a good amount of amenities as well. A good variety of unit types, seemingly something for everyone. Mostly friendly and outgoing staff. The parking garage is a high mark, good amount of spaces. The bad : Loud neighbors (my reason for moving), my unit would shake from the upstairs unit constant stomping. You hear every movement through the hallways while in the unit, there is no escaping it. There is a very high proportion of time that a major component of the building is broken (elevator, garage doors) and it typically takes weeks to fix. Projects that are, in my opinion, budget surplus spends that are not a good or necessary use of money ( repainting garage parking markings, a custom mural painting in visitor garage, which is often an inconvenience to residents). VERY high turnover in office and maintenance staff.
We love it! So clean and the location is perfect. We couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Everything is so accessible and the security is good.

My partner and I have lived at the Gables on Speer for two weeks, and we already feel so at home. Our fellow residents are friendly, the entire complex is clean, and there are SO many dogs. Needless to say, I think we'll be happy here.

I feel very safe here! I will say I wish the walls were a bit thicker as I can hear everything, and the garage doors break a lot, but otherwise very happy.
