The building is a wood- build, you can hear everyone walking around all the time, especially when someone stomps around their apartment. Vinyl plank floors add to the noises. The walls are paper-thin, you can hear your neighbors sneezing, coughing, and talking. There's no sense of peace and quiet while you live here. Don't be fooled by the high ceilings, it's a scam. Noisy echos. Truly a disappointing place to rent. THINK TWICE BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE.

I am really pleased living here. The office staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. They building is maintained very well. The security at night is a big bonus.The only issue I have is how high the rent is increased each year.

My husband and I have had the best experience. We just moved in a week ago and we absolutely love it here. The leasing office has been a huge help. Especially Tanya who has been the main contact for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to our new home.
Close to shopping and the Amtrak. Neighbors are mostly quiet. Maintenance staff is fast and reliable. Overall if you can afford it I would recommend
The longer I live here the more I love it. They do a wonderful job maintaining the grounds and common areas including carpet and paint in the hallways. Office staff and maintenance crew are friendly and responsive. Proximity to shops and restaurants make me feel like I’m at a resort on vacation. Residents are fun and many have become good friends over 7 years. Can’t say enough good things about Gables!

Location is great. Main area of the building - lobby, community room, and conference rooms- are well maintained. Pool is generally quiet and pretty.
Unique and great neighborhoods. Maintenance team is awesome, timely repairs, and is extremely professional. Property Management could improve operational policies and create systems for transparency. The coffee and tea system is no longer offered but was a nice benefit. The safety and security system is really good.
Everything has been good since we moved in in May. There have been some continuous maintaining sounds coming from the ceiling during the night for some reasons, though. Other than that, staff and maintenance team are good.
Gables is always so beautiful inside and out! The grounds are well maintained with beautiful seasonal flower plants around the entire outside. Always so lovely and welcoming! The inside of this facility is kept in top shape, constantly see cleaning crews hard at work! The maintenance staff are trustworthy (they come in while I’m at work/out of my apartment), quick to respond to a maintenance request, do excellent work, and maintain filter changes, test fire alarm equipment, anything at all you may need. Excellent service and always professional! The Manager and office staff also are professional and friendly! The location is perfect! Close to 95, 93, Commuter Rail, Amtrak, and approximately 30 shops and restaurants/Starbucks and Urgent Care! There’s also Rockland Trust Bank…all these you can walk to! My neighbors are friendly, my apartment with granite countertops and SS appliances are lovely to come home to!
7 years and counting. Noise above us isn't great, but only issue we have. Lifeguards have been great this summer. Pool temp has been perfect all summer.

We spent about a month looking for apartments all around the outskirts of Boston. As soon as we stepped foot in Gables we immediately felt at home. The leasing office staff is beyond incredible. The apartments are beautiful with high ceilings and insane closet space. The amenities are modern, clean, and extensive. Definitely worth the rental price considering the other places around are basically the same cost for a worse location and run-down apartments/amenities.
Building is generally quiet. The location is convenient to shopping (particularly Wegmans' and Target) but also provides easy access to highway in order to reach Boston or Providence quickly.
The unit above me is beyond noisy. for a collective 5 hours per day, you too can listen to thumping as they walk endlessly. Absolutely miserable. I have lived here for less than a year and I will move. Brought the issue to management twice and they did nothing. It is uninhabitable. I write this review very early in the morning listening to chronic footsteps. I assume the business model is to find others to unknowingly rent my unit over and over again knowing they will leave disgusted. Maybe that can be you?
Just moved in and we are very happy! Hallie is great in the leasing office, she made the whole experience easy. Love the apartment and the location can’t be beat!

I absolutely love living here. Everything is always kept clean and organized, the staff are super friendly and the location is amazing. If I need to do some shopping I can just walk over and everything is right outside your door!
Do not live here. This place is horribly run by management and the apartments have paper thin walls and ceilings. There is trash left everywhere. Yes it is close to shopping, but the rent is NOT worth it. They charge way to high for what you are actually paying for. People steal packages from the package room and the quality of living here is horrible. The best advice I can give is to NOT live here. They dont care about the people living here. Security is also horrible. They just sit in the main lobby and do not do anything. This place is a MESS and it is not worth the rent they are charging.
They sell it as luxury but it's really not. It's nice. The location is the best thing about the apartment building as it's right across from the commuter train. The apartments have been built cheaply and the rent is way too high.

It has been horrible. The customer service has been terrible at the office. Nothing was done for me in my situation and they do not care about their residents. There is trash left everywhere and it is no longer luxury living. Doors are propped open and it is no longer a safe space. The rent prices are WAY too high for what you are actually getting. Do not move here!
The maintenance team with their manager Peter always does a good job. They are always on time and fixes the issues promptly. Kudos to them and Peter.

The Gables is safe and comfortable for anyone who has concerns about personal safety. The leasing office does a nice job making you feel welcome to a certain extent but you quickly become one of many.
Not happy with new rug design and could use pictures on walls in hallway. Other than that, good management and service response. Like having cleaning service too
Just moved in but very pleased with my apartment and its amenities- full size appliances, 10-foot ceilings, high-end finishes, hardwood floors, and incredible storage space. Public areas of the building are beautiful and very well cared for.
Building 1 is has been great. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Maintenance requests seem to be handled very quickly and the janitorial staff is always friendly.
