Property Ratings at Gables Vista
I’ve been a resident at Gables Vista in Cherry Creek since April 2024 and it’s been issue after issue. It's disheartening to write this review because I was so excited to live in this building and completed (what I thought was) a lot of research prior to signing a lease. I hadn't anticipated leaving a 1 star review so early into my lease, but I hope doing so saves prospective tenants future heartache. Do not move here. TLDR: - June 2024: a shooting into the lobby - July 2024: a gas outage that left residents without hot water and utilities with no concessions for food costs - third party shower options were offered on the 3rd day without hot water - September 2024: water outage for 6 days - amenity issues - soiled carpets in the resident hallways The response from property management is defensive and lacking empathy. Example: when requests were made to have biweekly email updates on the lobby shooting from June, it was too burdensome for them to commit to (last update was provided on August 7th). The 80+ page lease locks you into an impossible situation. Save yourself the time, MONEY, stress and hassle and choose elsewhere. They charge way too much for these issues to be "the rule" and not "the exception". At this point it’s not “if” another maintenance or safety issue will occur, but “when”.
Over a month to get anything fixed. No hot water for days, no water for a day, broken hot tub. The list goes on. Drive by shootings. Moving out as soon as my lease is up.
A mix bag experience. Pros: Love the area. Friendly staff. Nice lay outs. Common areas always seem well maintained. Cons: The 3rd floor parking garage constantly smells of dog urine. Maintenance is lacking. When I moved into the apt a toilet was broken and the ac broken. The ac unit didn’t have a filter for the past 5 years, so it clogged. Due to years of drainage back up we still smell sewage from time to time around the ac. The fridge is missing a filter, and has had a smell since move in. Faucet with rust and mold still awaiting repair. Dakota avenue side, be warned the building next door has a near constant loud generator sound that you will hear all day. The apartment building across has been doing months long renovations and appears no where near finishing as of 10/23. Entering and exiting the complex strained due to cars parked in street and construction crane. dirty carpets from dog owners leaving dog poop and from trash stains. Revolving staff. Have had better.
Like living at Gables very much. Wish they would fix the ice machine and add a game table somewhere. Workout facilities are nice. Public areas are clean.
Safe clean and quiet residence. Staff are friendly and helpful. Security appears to be a priority. Pool and spa areas are beautiful and well maintained. Multiple opportunities to gather with others.
I've been a resident at Gables Vista for almost a year , and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The apartment itself is incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a true home. One of the standout features of Gables Vista is the fantastic range of amenities available to residents. From the well-equipped fitness center to the inviting community spaces, there's always something to do. The pool area is a personal favorite, especially during the summer months. What truly sets Gables Vista apart, though, is the exceptional staff. They are always responsive and go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and well taken care of. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the leasing team is friendly and professional. Overall, Gables Vista provides a top-notch living experience that I highly recommend. It's more than just an apartment complex; it's a welcoming community where you can truly enjoy every aspect of your daily life.
Gables is the perfect home, has clean community areas, freshly installed appliances, and very nice people. I would recommend moving here to any friend or family member.
Everyone here is very respectful and easy to start a conversation with. The amenities are well taken care of, especially the gym which has everything you would need. Great place to live.
The place is very nice but mantainance is slow and gets a lot to have things fixed Also internet is horrible and there is mi way that it can be fixed Also the prices for renting goes up a lot

For the price I pay to live here, I expected much better amenities. There's usually something broken around the building, many times concierge isn't available, etc.
My experience at Gables Vista has been great -People that work here and amenities are excellent! We are very happy we moved here. It has made our move to Denver much less stressful.
I love this apartment complex! I had complications moving in and for being a luxury apartment, there are definitely improvements that could be made such as 24/7 key assistance, the dog washing station has been broken for over 6-months, there's pool complications, etc. but my actual unit and location is fantastic.
Although I have only lived at the Gables Residences for a few weeks, I have had the best experiences and can recommend them highly. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The building is quiet and very clean. My apartment is spacious with floor to ceiling windows in the living area and a wonderful view of the mountains. The maintenance staff is prompt and polite. I especially enjoy the keyless entry and the automatic entry into the parking area via an electronic decal. The amenities are quite nice…well equipped gym, pool and hot tub, lounging areas indoors and out with fire pits in each one. I am impressed with the free events the Gables has sponsored for residents in just my few weeks here including Salsa Dancing, Yoga, a pool party and a community clean up. The complimentary coffee and tea account is a nice touch. A short walk to the mall and a variety of eating places. And it is adjacent to a terrific walking/biking path. I highly recommend the Gables Residences. .
Great experience from first touring the apartment, applying, and moving in. Was able to easily reserve the freight elevator, get our parking passes and room keys, and move in successfully.

Gables Vista is a model apartment community. Great amenities that are well maintained. Beautiful views of the Rockies and downtown Denver. The management is a breath of fresh air as they are very helpful, accommodating and available. Concierge is the amenity I didn't know I needed. This sets Gables Vista apart from most other communities. Finding a 1 bedroom in Denver with adequate sq ft. at a reasonable price is not easy, but for the prestigious quality, safe and active location, and competitive sq ft. and pricing, choosing Gables Vista was a no-brainer. All the appliances, flooring, cabinets, etc. are of very high quality. Gas stove and smart oven, built-in kitchen speakers, and soundproof walls are a few awesome perks that might not be immediately noticeable. An awesome community of residents who are open-minded and always happy to make new friends. Gables Vista hosts community events about weekly too if you are interested.
Staff is always courteous and helpful. The communal areas are always clean. The hot tub and pool are well-maintained and it’s an overall good environment to live in.
We like living here. It’s nice and clean. Staff has been courteous thus far. Maintenance staff could be a bit quicker to respond and fix issues.
We have been so pleased with our experiences at Gables Vista that we have renewed for another year. We very much enjoy the amenities and our dog loves the indoor walk area when the weather is cold or rainy. The best part of our time at Gables Vista is the tremendous resident support from Andrea (Property Manager) and the entire concierge staff who are always willing to help if necessary.

I absolutely love in here. Collin, who leased us are apartment was amazing, so helpful and kind- just like the rest of the staff. The amenities are top notch, location is pretty good and the units are big and luxurious with lots of light. It’s always quiet here, no issues at all.

Great place, nice amenities, apartments with amazing mountain’s views. The staff is very friendly. I enjoy going to the gym, and to the hot tub. Can’t wait for the summer to start enjoying the swimming pool (even though is heated)

I love living at Gables! It's a very quiet environment, but alot going on atleast once every couple weeks. The amenities cannot be beat and I love getting my morning cold brew free of charge in the morning! Gorgeous apartment, the only thing I would like is a better location that's in walking distance of more restaurants/stores. Overall though, I love living here!
the management changes every few moths and the manager is never here. There is little communication about changes. I do not feel safe here - someone was attacked I'm the garage and there are so many car thefts and break-ins.There has been nothing done to keep it upgraded. The increases in rent is ridiculous. They have increased rent 20% for new people moving in.

Honestly, i don’t understand any of the bad reviews because for the year i’ve lived here it’s been amazing 10/10 experience. Moving out in a couple weeks and can’t seem to find anything like it. Super super dog friendly, great dog park in the parking garage + a new dog wash station. Beautiful layout, !great! amenities, and all the staff (leasing, concierge, cleanup crew, and maintenance) are truly amazing. pure luxury and worth every penny.

There have been multiple episodes of car vandalism and car theft in the parking garage. The building appears to be targeted by vandals because of the absence of security overnight in the garage and building. Management seems to be unwilling to provide the protection needed to prevent the persistent threats to our property and personal safety. Shame on them!!

I'm writing this review from my unit at the Gables where I haven't had heat or hot water in 24 hours and counting. This building is a disaster!. It may look nice but the construction is shoddy. The windows are cheap and non insulated causing them to sweat literal puddles of water on the floor. the elevators don't have heat so they are only about 10 degrees warmer than outside all winter. The kitchen cabinets are basically cardboard with a sticker on them and most of ours are already falling off the hinges. The internet is dismal because as the technicians explain it; the building is improperly wired. There are mold problems throughout the building and the remediation trucks are here often. Pipes throughout the building burst, recently one burst in the basement creating a skating rink Cars are frequently stolen or burglarized from the garage and there is no night security regardless of what they claim. The manger is complacent, unskilled and simply doesn't care. She is often the target of resident's wrath and simply goes about her day arranging events and cheesy newsletters while the building is literally falling apart around her Gables Vista is not the experience or quality they promote; it is absolute garbage!
