Gale Lofts- great place at a great price!
This location is perfect. Short commute into the city for work, close to the malls and 12 south area. Very safe, clean and pet friendly. Management staff is amazing, Annie was so great to work with from move in to move out she was outstanding. Our dog will miss this place and so will we!

I would recommend this complex to just about anyone, but the price is the only reason I might not recommend Gale Lofts. While it is competitive to other complexes, the rising prices of Apartments make it hard to recommend.

I love it here! It is a great place for young adults. I never hear the neighbors and rarely hear noise from the road. Guest access has been very easy as well. As a college senior, it is nice to be so close to campus yet still able to escape the collegiate environment and live around "real adults"!

Nice, but there is a homeless camp out back.
A great place to live, but I was getting ready to sign my 4th one year lease and for the 4th time in a row they are raising my rent, while offering lower rates to new tenants. What makes it worse is that in the last 6 months 500 units similar to this complex in terms of floorplan/furnishingshabe become available- all are within walking distance of Gale Lofts, and each complex offers better amenities and have nearly identical rents. The previous manager had told me that my rent would be staying the same. This was within the last 3 months. Parents might want to take note: There is a homeless camp about 100 just over the hill behind the apartment complex. If I had a daughter, I wouldn't put her in this place unless homeless dudes are her type. So if you are looking for a place to live for more than a year, add a couple hundo to your rent. That will give you a good idea what it will cost you to stay if you like it.

I know it was a holiday weekend, but it took about a week for this request to even be looked at when it should have just been a quick fix. These issues actually should have been repaired before we ever moved in. I still love the apartment community, but am just a little unhappy with quality/cleanliness of our apartment when we moved in. There were a lot of minor problems with the apartment.

I would honestly say the best part about Gale Lofts is the management team. Katherine has worked with me from the day I toured Gale Lofts and I have appreciated all that she has done to help me with any questions or concerns. She always follows up with me on any service in my apartment and frequently organizes community engagement activities. If I didn?t have to relocate due to work I would 100% stay at Gale Lofts long term.

Mold problem
I enjoyed my first year in this apartment complex, but I experienced problems with mold during my second year that were never fully addressed by management. They put a dehumidifier in my unit and told me that it was caused by my AC settings, but my next door neighbor also experienced a mold issue and was forced to move out because of it. I had to throw away a lot of personal belongings, and the problem was never fully solved (I was told that they have a company policy against mold testing). The maintenance engineer, Patrick, was always very accommodating and quick to address small fixes, but the rest of the management team could be difficult to contact/unresponsive.

Close to downtown... (Verified Renter)
Close to downtown without having to deal with the daily hassles of actually living downtown. I could get around anywhere with ease, whether I was going to East Nashville, the Gulch, Germantown, or Franklin, etc. My neighbors were always friendly. Even though there were several staff changes while I was there, everyone was great to work with. I felt safe every day that I lived there, which is important when living by yourself.

I would highly recommend this apartment community to family and friends looking to move in Nashville. Katherine is an amazing manager who made me feel very welcomed from the day I toured and helped me during each step of the application process. Katherine provided me with a great cost estimate for living here and I really appreciate that as I am now a pharmacy resident with a tight budget. She always has a smile on her face and is looking to help in any way that she can! I have already told several people how amazed I was with the entire application and move in process, likewise the daily and weekly emails regarding maintenance around the apartments are greatly appreciated! I am certainly impressed with my first month at Gale Lofts.
