Do not live here
Be cautious if thinking about living here, the location is great and apartments are nice however they are overpriced compared to similar complexes and security and safety is not great. I have lived here for two years and since then, I have noticed multiple homeless people enter the building with no issue because many of the doors are broken. There have been car jackings and multiple car break-ins. My car window was smashed in on Christmas Day and there has been a lack of communication with the main office and no transparency. If you are looking to live somewhere that is this expensive and safe I would look elsewhere.

Sometimes communication and follow-through, sometimes they are non-existent. Like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're going to get. Can't keep water properly filled for hydration in the gyms and recycle is constantly overflowing and unkept, but definitely NOT the worse place in the area

Gallery at TC helped me move from Florida even though I couldnt see the complex in person. They did a great job showing me the facilities and an even better job communicating and getting me in the unit. I was blown away at how helpful the staff were. Truly five star service. And the units themselves are great! Modern and quiet. Only thing is the I wish I had more counter space!

Property is good but beware of hidden charges!
We've somewhat enjoyed our time at this property. The major downside is that the management will look for any reason to charge you small fees without any warnings. If you inquire about the charges you will be ignored. I don't recommend living here or at any other GreyStar community.

Gallery at Turtle Creek has been a wonderful place to live for the past year. Improvement in management has been very noticeable with the addition of Rossi H. He goes above and beyond for the community, and actively communicates with the residents on how to improve the Gallery experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new apartment in the Uptown Dallas area come by to meet Rossi and take a tour to see for yourself!

I rate GTC 5 stars. Reginald and Patricia served me exceptionally from my very first phone call inquiry, my tour, online application, and to the day I picked up my keys. I have not had a single negative interaction this far, and the welcoming experience allowed me to see this as my new home quickly. I was fully expecting to find some flaws with the property during my tour because everything virtually from my laptop just seemed too good to be true, but I was quickly proven wrong. Gallery at Turtle Creek truly is an exceptional place to live all around!

While the complex seems nice and has some good amenities, the management is terrible. Do not rent an apartment from this complex because you WILL regret your decision. Run, do not walk away from Gallery and Greystar!

I love my unit; the style is impeccable, and the cement ceiling is both beautiful and functional. I never hear anything from my neighbors. The 2 floor gym is a great plus. The location is perfect; its waling distance to two parks and the Katy Trail.

"Gallery at Turtle Creek" is the worst-maintained apartment complex I've ever lived in. The staff is openly hostile when asked about the progress of necessary repairs, and takes months to do simple things. Here are a few examples: The trash chute on the north side of building 1 has been broken for 3 months, and shows no sign of being fixed. "Cynthia" seems angry and annoyed when asked about it, and the manager "Shay" seems quite pleased when she says that she has not scheduled a repair and has no plans to. The security gate to the building 1 parking garage was recently fixed, but had been broken for 2 months. During that time residents suffered at least 3 car break-ins, and the garage was always full of non-residents, resulting in a dramatic shortage of spaces. Until a few days ago (when it was finally fixed), no staff members could give any estimate of a completion date. The order on Dec 26 was to update key fobs, and remove an expiration date that had been erroneously placed on them. The staff seemed fully aware that many fobs had been incorrectly assigned expiration dates, but had made no effort to contact residents. This could easily have resulted in complete lockouts from the building. Stairwell doors are frequently broken, often resulting in denial of access to certain floors via stairwells. These often take weeks to be fixed after reporting, and represent flagrant fire hazards during that time. Repairmen have left sharp nails on stairs after completing repairs.

Poor management
The new management (Greystar) is the worst! They NEVER respond to emails. So I had to get out of work early one day and went there in person to talk to them about the parking problems. They said they would "look into it" but NEVER got back to me, and eventually I just gave up. Among many other problems, Building 2 hallway has a sewage smell on more than 2 occasions (it's smelling like toilet out there right now as I'm writing this review...), and again, it never got fixed. The occupancy rate of the building is low, unsurprisingly.

DO NOT LIVE HERE
I lived at the Gallery for just over a year, and I have nothing but bad things to say. Complete and total mismanagement of a company that has left a very sour taste in my and many other tenants' mouths. I strongly urge anyone looking for a place to stay to keep looking. To start, the property was owned and operated by the Lincoln Property Company, but once it was sold to GreyStar everything went downhill. GreyStar fired all of the staff as well as the apartment event coordinators, so the complex went from having 2-3 social events a month to 0. The gated garage for the second building was broken on multiple occasions. One time it was broken for over a month and lead to someone's apartment being broken into. Coincidentally the repair techs were on site to fix the garage the day the break-in was reported. There were multiple car break-ins in my time there. Don't expect to find a gated parking spot if you plan on getting home after 8PM. Many of the $50/month reserved spots are left unused and lead to wasted unused parking spots. A locked bicycle closet was broken in to and all bikes were stolen. The elevators smelled like vomit and pee for nearly 2 months before being fixed. Filed multiple noise complaints on my neighbors (2-4AM), and nothing was ever done. It's sad because I initially enjoyed my time there, but things only got worse as time went on. No concern for the tenant, their only concern was making a profit off of anything and everything. The rates are GROSSLY overpriced. When it came time to renew my lease I was shocked to see a $800 increase in my monthly rate. I was charged multiple move out fees that are highly questionable. Being charged $80 for a carpet cleaning fee, but then also being charged $300 to replace the carpets??? Nice double dipping you did there. Their "market rate" is $500 more than what you'll find anywhere else. The property struggles to maintain over 70% capacity, and there's a reason for that. I did not renew my lease, and I will be cautioning anyone that asks to avoid this place at all costs.

Visited Dallas over the weekend
Yes I will be relocating to the Dallas area. I was pressed for time and the gentlemen in the leasing office made me not fell stressed at all about my big move. I still have some thinking to do but this property was very clean, amazing gym and the weekend staff was super helpful and kind.
