Property Ratings at Garden Estate Apartments
I currently live here because I can’t afford anything else but it is complete crap. The photos in this are fake, that isn’t how the apartments look. We have bug problems, water is off constantly, gas issues, NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!
Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever lived. Horrible management and maintenance. Maintenance can take days or weeks to respond. Water and gas going at least once every two weeks is the norm for living here. No security at all. Infested with roaches and cats living in the attic. No matter how often pest control comes, the roaches never stopped. Living here is like one step up from homelessness.
The apartments are under new ownership/management, and everything has gone bad. If there was an option to leave no stars i would, but feel it necessary to post something as a warning. Upkeep on the apartments has decreased significantly. With the lack of care by new management, bug problems have returned. Water/Gas is frequently turned off due to leaks on the property, Trash areas are all uncovered, and often overflowing with trash making making the area smell and trash to overflow into the surrounding areas. There is no security at all offered in the complex. I had my vehicle stolen just a few feet from my door in the middle of the night. In addition to that, there is no help from management on anything. I have requested motorcycle parking, offered to park my car and motorcycle in the same space , or offered to pay for an additional permit to prevent my motorcycle from being stolen again, however I was told I had to park it on the street. Overall, management has no concern for their residents, their well-being, or their safety. Sad to see such a change
The gas and water go off at least once a week,maintenance is done with minimal effort so expect long waits and poorly done work, roaches are abundant eventho they say they have pest control, And forget about the office ever answering your call or giving you a heads up on the maintenance they say they are doing. Numerous times been showering when they turn off the water and numerous time couldn’t make dinner because of gas issues. Upon move in they promised me a new stove and bath, they glazed the bath poorly (it’s completely peeled off) and didn’t put a new one, and the stove was used and one of the burners is finicky. They advertise the price and honestly that’s the only thing good about this place... it’s affordable but alas you get what you pay for.

This apartment is very bad!!!! Roaches everywhere, no matter how much I clean, take out the trash, they are all over! Also RATS in the walls, I called the manager to see if she could send someone and it took them 3 days to show up, and all thet did was bring me a glue trap! The apartment smells like gas, I have to turn the gas off when Im not using the stove because its so strong! There are crack heads all over the place, people fighting outside, its bad and nasty! I would not move here! I was in a bind and needed somewhere to live asap but as soon as my lease is up Im out of here!!!!!!
