Located on the Rio Grande along US-Mexico border, Eagle Pass has two international bridges to its sister city of Piedras Negras in Coahuila, Mexico. As the first American settlement on the Rio Grande, Eagle Pass was originally an outpost for the Texas militia during the Mexican-American War (1846-1848). The Fort Duncan Museum, dating back to 1849 when the fort was established during the Texas revolution, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Seven of the fort's original buildings are still standing, and the former Commander's Headquarters serves as the museum.
Eagle Pass is home to the Lucky Eagle Casino, operated by the Kickapoo Tribe. The city also features a municipal golf course, a terrific downtown shopping and dining district, and the Mall de las Aquilas. Across International Bridge I, residents can enjoy the Zaragoza Mercado or walk along the Plazita near the Santuario de Guadalupe, a historic church built in 1859.

Property Ratings at Garden Hill Apartments
Never answers things always broken laundry room messed up always steals quarters, won’t fix something if told it’s broken maintenance guy just looks at things that are broken and leaves. Seriously had problems since we moved in and they never fix the issues assistant manager is nosy and gets in everyone’s business other than the apartment being up to date. AVOID RENTING HERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE
I never set foot in Eagle Pass prior to moving to the city for work. The property manager Yesenia was extremely helpful in taking photos and facetime video of available apartments that might meet my needs during the move. She was extremely professional but more importantly very helpful. This truly made the transition extremely easy. Any questions or concerns i had were immediately addressed via email, cell phone, or in person by the staff. I recommend this complex. I lived at this location for a year and no issues.
This is a great apartment community. We have lived here for more than a year, the property manager is nice and efficient. Service is fast. It has clean swimming pool. Plenty of washers and dryers in the laundry room. Neighbors are friendly.
I am so displeased with this place I have been calling them since May to move in Sept. They ne rr answer to get an appointment to see the units. The only person there (the manager) is never there to answer and then can't show you any units. She is very rude and has a very rude attitude when trying to get information about the units.
