Situated on the edge of Lancaster County, Lebanon is surrounded by rich farmland. The city offers a quiet environment for those in search of a slower pace than surrounded cities. Lebanon is home to a diverse community but still maintains its original Pennsylvania-Dutch roots.
A plethora of small businesses and a large Amish community adds to the area’s allure with a selection of local goods and services. Interstate 71 lies just to the south, making it easy to commute from your Lebanon apartment to work or any other destination.

Property Ratings at Garden Oaks Apartments
I scheduled a tour for a 1 bedroom apartment at garden oaks apartments. Showed up at the set time, waited for 45 minutes until I contacted the property manager and was told they weren’t doing any tours.
This Office is Garbage. They are the rudest people to talk with. The phone never works, and the lady who answers the phone might as well take the garbage out, cause she treats you like trash. Get a real job and stop treating blue coller citizens like there nothing.
There has not been anyone manning the office during the posted office hours in years! Maintenance use to be on sight during the posted hours but that changed 3 years back and now you have to call a sort of hot line and leave a message with the property call center who then sends Maintenance out. Maintenance usually comes quick after the call but they basically just patch stuff up or do half the job. For example an outlet stopped working so they cut a new hole in the wall, put in new outlet, then covered the old outlet wall hole with tape. Their idea of dealing with bugs has been anything from put a few traps out to lets spray a few apts, but not all the conjoined ones. The property manager has never been on sight in the 5 years I've been here and I've never seen this "community vegetable garden." The call center use to be really good about calling back or informing you but in the passed year that has changed like crazy. Called in about a question regarding sending rent payment (post office lost it in mail and I had the tracking to prove it's lost in transit status, so wanted to know how they would handle the situation); well no one bothered to call me back yet when I didn't send in the check, waiting for my question to be answered, they charged me a late free and threatened eviction even with proof I had tried to send payment on time and they didn't get it on time due to the extraneous circumstance. This place is very strict on leasing and have it written to lock you in so be prepared to stay all year or move only on the last day of your lease, because they will make you pay for the rest of the year even if you hand in your keys and have moved completely out and to my knowledge leases are only given for a 1 year to year term. Be prepared for your rent to increase around $20 a year, though they still rent apartments to new people at the old price. This place is purely money motivated, don't seem to have any human sense of caring, and over all poor customer service/interaction from apartment showing, to questions/issues, and everything between.
The management office is not on site however maintenance is and they are quick to respond to repairs. Quite complex not far from Harrisburg.
