Property Ratings at Garden Terrace Apartments
My storage unit was broken into, despite cameras and the building being secure. Marijuana use is widespread and reported by many but continues to infiltrate the building on evenings, weekends, and whenever management isn't there. Chemical smells coming from another apartment were making me very sick. I tested 3 apartments for meth residue and all tested positive. (Accumeth, MethAssure). I was forced to move out because police and management would not respond to my complaints regarding meth.
Rooms are decent, but expect a lot of maintenance (took 10 weeks for our washer to be fixed, closet doors are still broke , kitchen cabinets are falling off, hallways are full of dog pee) My lease is up at the end of May, old management did not require that I give them notice that I plan on leaving at the end of May (because duh? If I didn’t resign what would they expect?). However, new management just took over and is now requiring a 60 day notice. Currently battling with them so I’m not held financially responsible for their mistake and miscommunication. Overall would not recommend. Stay tuned, because I’m sure my security deposit will be kept for unknown reasons! :)
