Current resident reporting in. Hallways are dirty and smell. The maintenance team is like 4 people managing hundreds of units, so things never get done. The dryer in my building was out of order for almost a year. The machine you use to load your card with money to use the washer is constantly broken. Buildings are not well insulated, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Windows are permanently foggy with some kind of residue This apartment company does not know how to manage properties. They only know how to cash your checks, which is the only thing they care about.
When my daughter and her family moved in the apartment was extremely dirty. I tried to mop the floor and the mop pad was black after a couple of minutes. Since moving in my daughter and her husband had their catalytic converter stolen off their car and all of the camping stuff stolen from the locked storage room.
when i moved into these apartments back 2021. the people gave me a dirty apartment that i had to clean before my old year old at the time came home. Then i had a police report for a specific incident that took place in my apartment (which they knew about) and i got out of my lease early, and i forfeited my deposit and they are now telling other places, i've applied for that i had damages when the only thing was holes in the walls from pictures and my daughter drawing on the wall which i tried to clean off as best i could, but other than that there was no other damages done. but yet they don't want to tell how they give people dirty apartments. I was never a bad resident, i stayed mostly to myself. but they are trying to make me out to be. these places are disgusting and i would never stay there if i was you.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had renting in 15 years. The management is absolutely horrible. we have had multiple issues From leaking roof that they did fix however the stains are still on our ceiling to now having cockroaches and getting told it’s not an emergency and hung up on. If I could give this place zero stars I would.. I highly recommend staying far away from this place
We went for a tour. The pools are closed because of Covid. She said it costs too much to do the cleaning. I’m pretty sure the apartment owners are rich. If they were worried about Covid spending, they could have 1 family at a time. I asked if the outdoor pool was opening & they said they might do something with the kids. That doesn’t help me. The biggest 2 problems were that we asked her what she does if someone’s blasting their stereo at 3pm & it’s shaking your apartment, the manager said she flat out won’t do anything unless multiple people complain. We told her that won’t work for us & she was like see you later. She didn’t even feel bad she’s a lazy horrible manager. I asked what happens with packages. She said you have to select signature confirmation. That is not an option most of the time when you order online. So she pretty much said your packages will/could get stolen. My apartment isn’t great about it, but we at least have lockers for USPS.
I have a very lengthy list of issues and concerns and now having to call the health department as my unit is has a cracked, leaking and what appears to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. I have had many leaks and even flooding from the tenants above and now I'm told there is something in walls and or that the tenants toilet is the issue!! I now have an infestation of some sort of flies that seems to love the damaged area on the ceiling and now they are migrating to other areas of the unit making it hard to want to be (what we once considered to) home. This issue was addresses with the third maintenance guy providing a bucket to sit on top of the toilet, but what catches the ceiling once it falls as it is getting worse!!! The cracks have gotten longer and larger!! And third day of my complaining they came out and put plastic over the area which is causing more black spots as well as bugs!! The management and corporate don't seem to care much and are constantly putting things off and this is one of them which has now became a inconvenience to my children and I!! We can not live comfortably in our unit due to having fear of the ceiling collapsing and now infestation of bugs!! I would have been been okay with them having us use a bathroom or unit temporarily until this issue is resolved like previous management had done in the past!! There is sooo many problems living at this property on top of the maintenance orders not be handled!! I would strongly advise people coming in or considering residing here, to look else where. Do not rent from this owner in non of the properties, because you to will have regrets!!!
I could explain a lot, but to sum it up, the apartment itself is not a bad place to stay, I mean the cost of living here is very reasonable; however, the management is terrible. Imagine having significant maintenance issue where you don't get to shower in your apartment for five days, so you decided to call management to vent about the problem and the person who answer the phone just cut you off while talking and told you,” bye” and hang up on you! I know you might be thinking that maybe I was rude to the person on the phone, or I was complaining too much, but oh well, that is not the case. Anyway, that is my experience. I have only been living here for four months now, and this is how Crystal decided to welcome me. Not everyone in the office is rude, but unfortunately, I can't say that for Crystal. This has been my worst experience, and I don't intend to renew my lease after the Twelve months is over. I'd rather pay my money to a place that people will value me and not just the money. I mean, why be rude to someone who has never been Offensive to you?
Horrible management, horrible staff, rule and disrespectful staff. When you have a concern they never address it. They give you a run around and tell you that you are not a priority and they are running 300 + units like it is your problem they don't have staff for such a large unit. I regret moving in and because of them I will buy my house soon. I could go on with how unprofessional and horrible this place is. They turn off the heat without warning, they shut the water off without notice and so on.
I have lived there for three years, there apartments are good but the management is a mess.Can you imagine I contacted management and they hanged on me,further more, I was still a resident there! Not knowing what I was enquiring from them. I tried to call back severally and nobody answered back.That was horrible act. I’m sorry Gardeview April.
This apartment complex is terrible. Our lease lady left just after 2 months working therefore because manager was horrible. Our next lease lady was super rude. They barely cleaned the apartment after the old tenants, mold in bathroom, leaking garage, neighbors partied and didn't follow volume rules, didn't shovel or plow, I fell on ice and they didn't do anything about it, had flood in garage and they did nothing about it even when it froze to ice, locks on security door never worked, took 2 weeks after we moved in the get a dead bolt put on our door, sliding glass door to deck was stuck shut, guy came to fix it and made it worse. We moved out and I would never ever go back. Don't move here.
Garden View is a really nice place to live. The prices are great and they have awesome Amenities!
We love the office staff. They take care if us. We love Nermina. She is friends with our two boys four and six years old. They just love to see her. Yvone cares about people too. There are no bugs here. We love it.
Terrible terrible terrible!!!! Cant wait to move. Maintnance is horrible! Call and put in a work order and it takes weeks! Or calling everyday to put a new work order in because they “ lost” your original one ?? the staff people are so rude!!! We have had a problem with a peeping Tom outside our windows. Nothing has been done or even a plan put in place to make sure it doesn’t happen again!! There’s been BIG raccoons that get in the trash areas because people here don’t care and throw there garbage on the ground. They say there have billiards but they don’t. They say they have a kids club but the staff doesn’t show up half the time. They have an indoor pool and out door pool that never seem to be running properly; they are always “under maintnance”. We may bed here cuz the pools and our love for swimming and it’s so not worth it! They always have an excuse for everything. I’ve been waiting for 2 year for a screen to my kitchen window and 1 year for a screen my bedroom. The parents around here don’t watch their kids either so they run around like wild boars and destroy things like our screens. This place just really sucks and so can’t wait to move when our lease is up!!
