The Village is a predominantly residential neighborhood about seven miles east of Downtown Winston-Salem. Overall good place to live, wish cost haven't gone up as much as it has in 2 years. Under new management maintenance seems to be done in timely manner, still pulling teeth to get wiring redone for Internet access.

I didn't have such a good experience applying. I am still have issues regarding things being fixed. There's some caulking that needs to done, a hole in the laundry door, the stove burners heat very slowly, one doesn't work at all, the shelf in the refrigerator is still broken. I have been to the office to let them know. My sweet leasing agent told the service manager and it is still not fixed.

Application process was easy, but all my information was knocked out the system and the apartment I selected was available again. The leasing agent had to manual enter my information again. No one never answer the phone got at least 4 different number. It was a lot of technology, computer and phone issues. My application was approved the end of October and didn't moved into November.

So Far, I am very happy with the community. There were some issue with smoking neighbors when moving in, and it took a bit of a hussle to resolve, but other than that, it's a nice and quiet place to live.

The neighborhood is clean outside and scenic. The apartment homes are older and attractive. It is mostly quiet here with life's ups and downs.

The townhomes are really cute. We have been here three and half years. Property manager changes every few years of not every year. The pools have not been open for an entire summer since I've lived here. Hopefully this coming summer we can actually swim. The amenities are ok, only if they stay on to of maintenance on them.

I'm not happy with the Refrigerator an Stove.. Any Apartment should have up to date appliances paying this type of money .. But it really about the experience when walking in an looking in at this community..Up scale an classy when looking on line an when you walk into the office..This is what the residence want to feel but when I walked in my unit with that old stove an refrigerator , It threw my off that experience..we want our apt to look like the experience yall selling..I want to feel good about my luxury apt.. But I don't a that makes me sad.. Then they said I should have choose newly renovated but all Apartments should have up to date appliances if either renovated or not.. We want it to look nice like that office an like on the nternet you all show

Being a resident of this apartment complex for a very long time I feel that the quality of service and property care has declined while rents continue to soar. In the past tenants would receive perks for renewing their lease but that has now ceased. I have seen an enormous turnover of residents move because of the decline of services and care towards them. Compactors are atrocious and $25.00 fees unnecessary, put back the dumpsters. The other property still has them and it's cleaner and more presentable to the eyes and nose. Make the residence Great Again! LOL

I’m so disappointed that I been reporting heat issue for several times and no one has not come to fix it I was told maintenance was going to be sent several times and I have not seen one I been so uncomfortable in this house so cold even my husband got sick from it the fact that this house is extremely cold to be honest everyone should be comfortable in their own personal space. So why are we paying rent if nothing will be fix on time plus heat is emergency. Imagine coming from work to a cold house while work is cold as well as outside too, u have been told someone will be sent out to fix it but nothing is reserved to. I never been so upset like the way I am now honestly. Hope garden at country club apartment will change certain things with their stuff members.

It’s ok. I do not like all the cats walking around and all the trash everywhere, but it is quiet and love watching all the kids outside. It does make me feel like it is a safe neighborhood.

Office staff is super friendly and helpful. The only issue is valet trash pick up never comes by my unit. I have only seen them once since I move in. I under that this is managed by a separate company but to continue to charge the fee in my rent is not fair. Over all grounds are kept up well, residents are nice, and it’s pretty quiet!

So far the community has been pretty great. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and quiet. There's always parking close to my door and I love that we have trash valet, it makes my life so much easier. There are a few cosmetic issues within my actual unit and the walls are paper thin so I hear EVERYTHING my neighbors are doing. Aside from that, I can't wait to make this place home.

This place is not well maintained. They have not blown the leaves in months; they expect the residents to take care of it. There is a roach infestation that is not being resolved. Mold issues not being resolved. I have called the city to investigate.

The townhouse was clean and spacious. Once we got everything moved in, we could relax and start enjoying our home. The neighbors are and offered to help us move in. This area is quite and clean, I have to get use to valet trash. It's all good.

Too expensive for the lack of good insulation. Work orders go incomplete. Prices need to be reduced by atleast $200 based on my personal living experience.

The grounds are very pretty, the apartments are pretty nice for how cheap they are. The only real downside I've noticed so far is the walls are suuuper thin.

It is pretty quiet for the most part and everyone stays to themselves. It is also very well taking care of as far as the landscaping. It is close to a lot of shopping areas and restaurants.

Once you finally get moved in it's a decent place to live. The area I'm in is cozy and quiet, I have really good neighbors. Getting in here is the hard part...the management is chaotic and nobody knows what's going on. I had to sign a lease three separate times (and we had 4 co-signers), we showed up on our move in day with our stuff in a U-Haul & our unit was not ready to move in to (lucky for us U-Haul understood & only charged us for mileage), changed the move in date, showed up to get the keys on the new day (no U-Haul, just in case) only to have our unit number changed so have to change the power & everything before I could get everyone to sign the lease again & get the keys to our previously roach infested townhome that they didn't even bother to sweep up before turning it over. But hey, since then my dogs have been attacked by an unleashed dog once, other than that it's great ??

Lived here for over a year, nice neighborhood but the communication sucks. Never answer office phones. Had to beg for awhile for them to come fix maintenance problems. Plus paying fees for services they barely provide.
Its gotten a lot better with the new management. I just wish they would answer the phone when I call and there was a better trash solution. The trash overflows because we only have 2 trash cans for my whole building.
Some things need to be fixed in the apartments. But it's close to grocery stores, and tons of food places. So it's convenient. Some apartments aren't worth the price. But some are over here
There are most definitely a need for improvement. Groundskeeping is very vital to the beautification of the apartment community, managing trash is included in that. Trash is always overflowing and bad odors. Also, We pay every month for pest control but they don’t come unless you request it, because of that, there are bug issues. Pest control is supposed to be on a schedule. We pay for trash and pest control, but the services are not properly provided. Those are two pressing items. Also, leasing office not professional, they do not return calls. They do not give courtesy call or email to let you know when contracted workers are coming to your apartment (not easily identifiable).

The Gardens at Country club started off rough but has been very quiet and pleasant for me lately. They are very attentive to problems and quick to fix solutions.

Great place to live. The property is kept very clean. Maintenance issues are repaired quickly, usually with in 48 hours. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

The office staff is professional and knowledgeable. I love our maintenance guys. They all show up and fix the problem on the first visit. Everyone is super helpful. Gardens at Country Club is in the middle of everything... super convenient. I love my community!

Our apartment wasn't quite ready. Move in date pushed back and even after we moved here it wasn't quite right however they are working really hard to get it together. Katherine Kear was our leasing agent. We moved in on a special however we didn't quite get use we needed especially being pushed back an extra week. Katherine was awesome in helping us. It's been tough...minus a few things...I love it here. Quiet. Park for the kids, dog friendly and Gym could use upgrades but coming from where we used to live with absolutely No amenities for family or children it's sweet. The office keeps the community involved especially the children. Ice cream golf cart, pizza days etc. I look forward to making good memories here. Besides that I really love maintenance and all of those who take pride in where "we" live. 3 swimming pools and so much more. We where homeless before this move so this ment everything to us. I am really grateful for this opportunity. Thank you.

My experience here has been somewhat okay so far but could be better. When I first signed my lease I was told that all of the fees were included in the rent fee which they aren't. Getting work orders completed is better than it used to be now, thankfully. They need to work on the trash collection though. The trash area for my apartment is supposed to be collected 3-4 times a week but it isn't and the smell is horrible, it also doesn't help that there are only 3 trash cans for 2 buildings either. Over all this is an okay place to live but they still need to make a lot of changes.

If I could move I would. But I’m a senior Too expensive to live in the small apartments rent went up $200 at once told by manager if you can’t afford then move. you can never speak with office staff always have to leave a message don’t expect them to call you back and the manager NEVER responds to e-mails you will always have to go to the office, maintenance staff will come to repair but will always need to get someone else

Worst apartment I've ever rented in my whole life. Thoroughly disgusted. Roaches everywhere broken locks and windows and paying 200 more than I have ever paid before.

I honestly believe this community is a beautiful place to live. Customer service can be top tier depending on whom your dealing with. They respond speedily to things of your concerns most of the time. However, I realized a few things that needs changing, for example the collecting of the trash needs to be more consistent. I also believe trash should be collected on weekends Fridays or Saturdays. Overall, I would recommend

very peaceful and quiet community, wish i wouldve moved sooner, has everything u need down to 3 pools, 3 bark parks (for the pet owners), and even a comunity gym/workout center

Have had my car broken into 5 times since I've lived here, pay for trash every month the trash guy only comes 2 times a week was supposed to be a renovated place with new appliances there 30 years old, windows are so old they sound like there open when people are outside the quality of work here is terrible never once changed my air filter I change it myself moved in with a cracked sink doors don't work good old carpet not a place I'd recommend

I have been to the office a few times and wanted to upgrade and move into a different apartment. I was told someone would come to inspect the current apartment then we could go from there. It has been a month and still no inspection. When I ask about it they say someone will be out tomorrow. Again it's been a month.

I have really enjoyed living here we have had a great summer here love the staff and the great location!we love walking on the paths and around the property it's beautiful and peaceful.I would definitely hands down recommend making this your home too.

My experience is here is well worth it. I pool was great. But time to go back to school. The new washers and dryers are great. The fire pit area is very relaxing
