If I could give no stars I would. 9 months can't come fast enough.......... This place is a whole joke. They have policies and guidelines but follow what they want. I was having electrical issues where the breakers trip like for three weeks, meaning I didn't have power on and off for three weeks. All maintenance would did was reset the breakers and 20 mins after he would do that, it would trip again. Got tired of calling the emergency line. It wasn't until they had a REAL electrician come in to do some extensive work when the issue was resolved but he left the place in shambles with holes in the walls and ceiling. Still haven't came and fixed the dining room light drywall wall. Switched over to payment portal online but won't take the time to help out the elderly residents that really aren't keen of computers because they are old school and want a receipt in hand for what they pay for. Most of those that work there are incompetent and uneducated individuals that couldn't place in an elementary spelling bee. And let's not talk about the roaches and mice. Had the nerve to say if they can't service your apartment for pest maintenance that they would charge you $100, huh. They are still coming in. And I keep a very clean dwelling. Dog poop be everywhere and cats come around like this their second home. I'm counting my days.

Please don’t rent here you won’t be able to use your pantry if you don’t want rats chewing on your food. Can’t use the breakfast bar because they just climb up there as well. There are holes everywhere where they travel actively,including in the kitchen cabinets where you put your dishes. Maintenance is bad at their job your requests will not be heard for months if ever. I chose to ignore other reviews.. don’t make the same mistake. As soon as I get the chance I am out of here!!! Run far far away!

I wish I could give no stars. I am a former tenant. I lived in one of the better buildings however I had issues with leaking pipes, loud music and heavy marijuana smoke from neighboring apartments. There is trash stacked up around the trash cans and one of my neighbors car got shot up. The property management team was not helpful in remedying most of these issues. I began to feel unsafe in the neighborhood. The leasing staff is rude and unprofessional. I would advise you look elsewhere.
This complex is very I’m considerate and try to do things like move you in ... in the middle of the month so you can be doubled charge !!!! The apartment may look well together but it is trash !!!! Leaks , rodents and maintenance is under staffed . The corporate office is no better !!! They changed my move in date twice !!!!!! It’s been almost three months and I decided to put more down to lower my move in cost !!! But In return they have been ignoring my phone calls and I was told I receive a refund back for money that the was never suppose to except until I moved in!!! Carmen and Tiffany are nice until you move in or decide you not going to move in!!!’ They are desperate for tenants but if you want to live comfortable and like to be treated with respect !!!!’ Don’t move here because don’t care especially if you think it may be long term !!!!!! It’s not even worth the headache !!!! I never move in and glad I seen the true colors of this property !!!! Good luck I hope this helps someone !!$
It’s cheap but not worth it. There’s trash everywhere. There’s no visitor parking so guest have to be gone by 10 unless you give them the guess pass. There is a roach infestation but if you have the apartment treated once every two weeks, it should be fine. There’s a lot of kids in this complex, and the neighbors are super noisy. Kids should be on the first floor! The walls are paper thin. The office members aren’t the most professional but they’re relatively nice. We live on the second floor because that’s what was available at the time and the people upstairs have been a nightmare. Constant stomping and noise all day and night. Also it’s just not a nice complex. It’s run down an accurate depiction of the management. The quality of the residents is poor. Great location but they let any and everybody in. There’s explicit graffiti everywhere.

Was happy to move here at first. The leasing agent I had who is no longer here was GREAT, but then everything started getting real. Leaks aren't fixed, still don't have a mailbox key and my heat doesn't/NEVER work. I live on the bottom level and heat rises so it can be hot outside but my apartment is cold(crazy right). Also when it rains its even more cold and that's when the leaks start. Also the maintenance manager that was here when I moved here, isn't here anymore so that could be why there's so many issues. Not having a mailbox key isn't as bad, but I get so much mail from the previous tenantssssss that my mailbox gets full after one or two days. The maintenance department needs some help and also stop giving tenants the run away about the issues. Just say it..... You can't fix it (Period)
Been here for 5 years I use to refer ppl here now I feel ashamed to live here from pot holes to the new extremely terrible front office this place gets worse by the day you cant even get in contact with the front office until 12 or 1 an for most working people that is the biggest inconvenience. Myself like others who reviewed I was refused service from the new front office who are unprofessional. It was ok to live here a few years ago but now the documentation for your lease an things purchased aren't even took note of. I cant wait to leave save your money an time an look elsewhere.

The property has had more property managers that I had birthdays while I have been here and we just got a brand new one. I have lived here for five years, and I cannot wait to move out. The quality of residents has gone down. I can tell the population had gone from professionals to anybody who can pay the rent. They also have a big weed problem. Daily, people are getting away with smoking weed on the premise without any enforcement from the office staff, managers, or security. I have yet to see one letter condemning this blatant violation of the lease. I have called at least 11 times in the last two months. I am tired and exhaust with the incompetence. I also had a problem with my heat and had to wait two weeks for it to be fixed, and the icing on the cake was the fact that the property manager and district manager told me, there was nothing they could do to compensate me. So there solution was to grin and bear it. The whole thing was a debacle and travesty. Also, I have not seen any real improvement beyond cosmetic/curbside items. As far as the parking lot issue, there is a gaping pothole in the parking lot that is the size of several craters on the moon and no one feels a priority, so guess what? It's still there and it has been there for almost four weeks. I used to recommend people to the apartment complex, but I would never make that mistake again. I am embarrassed I even live here.

I was a tentant here until July 31,2018. Since living at the Gates of Cipriano, I have battled with mice and roaches. I emailed, called and discussed the issue in person several times. Both management and corporate failed to address the issue leaving me no choice but to find a new place to live. In addition, the staff is very unprofessional and unfriendly. Do not believe these comments that say otherwise. I was refused service by a member of the management team so that alone speaks volumes to the type of people who work at the Gates of Cipriano.

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever dealt with. From the dead roaches upon move-in to not having received my mailbox keys for two months to the fact that in order to use the washer you have to drag it out from under the island and attach it to your kitchen sink faucet. Not to mention towing my car as a tenent with the proper sticker in my window.

Great apartment complex. I just moved to pg county a few months ago and I looked at at least 15 apartments. I am happy I chose The Gates Of Cipriano Apartments! Close to everything quite and secured and on top of that pet friendly!

Well I’m still here, but I hate this place. They dont screen their occupants well, and there are way too may people living in 1, 2 br apartments. The walls and hardwood floors are so thin that I can hear EVERYTHING the man downstairs is doing. The folks next door is forever hollaring to speak to each other, and there are kids running around the hallway. There is always a pile if trash around the dumpster, and my electric bill is over $100 a month, and they charge $97 for water, gas, waste, and another $25 for trash and i am single in a one br. So hate this place...

If you enjoy living with roaches than this is place for you. I bombed my own apartment myself because pest control is ineffective, and there are still roaches!!..I told management that my building was infested with roaches and they did not care. I have been here for 3months and every month I have complained to management about the roach issue. I am not sure how this place received any stars. If you can afford to live at another complex, I recommend you go there. Save yourself the headache, this is worst place I have ever lived. If you work hard to provide for yourself and your family, you will be disappointed if you stayed here. This complex is not a good fit for working class people. Come on a Monday morning!! You get what you paid for!

This is a very dishonest group of people. Keep all of your receipts. I received paperwork stating that I owed rent that I had already paid. Further, they tried to charge me almost $40 more than what was previously stated in my lease. They have a mice and roach infestation. Maintenance is slow to respond to requests. The quality of people living here is poor. There is trash everywhere. Do not rent here. You will regret it.

I find these reviews to be quite suspect. I visited a friend who USE to live over there (more on that in bit), before arriving to his place, I seen a VW Passat on bricks near the front entrance. That left a very bad taste in my mouth. A few months later, my friend came home to find that this place had been robbed of nearly everything. The place is suspect and be very wary.

I was looking for a condo and within 2 weeks I was approved for a one bedroom condo that's very spacious, plenty of closets, big kitchen, dining room, living room, a patio that has an enclosure and the 2 best features...all Utilities included and its a 10 min walk to my job!!!! GOLD STAR!!!

I have a wonderful apartment neat and clean place. Working all items in the apartment, close to the bus stop. The people are friendly and kind when i'm in the for help they will help me. They are pleasing at all time.
I have been here for five years. The leasing staff is great. I love the apartment size the walk in closet and the washer and dryer in the unit.
I think the Gates of Cipriano is a nice place to live. The units are spacious, and the property is well maintained. Great neighborhood and close to great parks.
Convenient to BW parkway and the beltway. Comfortable living space, nice pool area, currently in a one bedroom but also had a two bed room. In both experiences enjoyed my units, only issues I had were with the office staff and there turn around time addressing maintenance issues. But the people are friendly, one or two security guards all and all not a bad place to hang you hat.
Moving to the gates of cipriano was the best move ever. The neighborhood is quiet and child friendly. The neighbors are very polite and warm. The rental office works with you, if you fall behind or get down a little bit. I really love it and recommend it to everyone.
I've just recently moved here, but I find the apartment community is quiet and makes you feel relaxed at home. The convenience of neighborhood shopping is also an excellent amenity I looked for and received here at The Gates. .
