Located about 100 miles north of Seattle, Happy Valley is one of Bellingham’s most wooded neighborhoods. Similar to other Washington communities, Happy Valley has underdeveloped pockets of land and access to parks, wetlands, forests, and meadows. It’s common to catch an owl, deer, or even a horse grazing in town. Along with natural beauty, Happy Valley is best known for bordering Western Washington University and students or faculty can walk to campus in under 15 minutes.
