Gateway at College Station has been a great place to live as a student. The apartments are clean, comfortable, and fully furnished, which made settling in so easy. The amenities are a big plus—having two pools, a fitness center, and study rooms on-site has been super convenient. It’s close to campus and right on the shuttle route, so getting to classes is a breeze. I also like that the leasing is individual, which takes the pressure off when it comes to rent. Super nice and knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, good location for buses, and consistently fun community engagement events. The only downside is that I’m right next to the train tracks so it can get super loud at times.

It's a good apartment! I have a 4x2, which is pretty spatious. The apartment volleyball court and pool is great. The fact that they have study rooms is also a great bonus. It is 5 minute drive away from HEB!

Generally has been OK so far. There has been some problems with insects such as mosquitos and roaches getting inside of the apartments. There has also been some issues with the water either being lukewarm or hot even when the cold setting on faucets have been turned on.

The apartment is overall okay. There are tons of roaches everywhere, and it is very dirty in the more difficult to access areas. Maintenance is lazy (often cleaning up issues rather than fixing them, therefore they keep happening). There was a broken pipe, and rather than fixing it, they instead mopped up the water/mold mixture and said "theres nothing I can do, just don't touch it", for an area in which we live in.

Nice apartment to stay, it's spacious, on bus route 36. Has several amenities, courteous staff. Nice maintenance team. Rooms are clean and equipped with necessary furniture.

The Gateway community puts on some fun events like the soda bar or volleyball games. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and safe, and the apartments themselves aren’t amazing but are relatively decent for the pricing.

It is a nice place. It is clean and very organized. It is very cheap and very worth it. The buildings itself are a little old but the apartments are nice and clean.

Apartment came incredibly messy and broken. I understand that we moved in early but some of this mess was unreasonable. Paint left behind and dried on floors, dirty rags left on the fridge, hairs everywhere, etc. Drawers and cabinets would fully close, were splintered, and even broke at times. Kitchen sink would leak on arrival, AC had to be fixed recently, a lot of issues. Now that we've cleaned up it's alright but there's been so many issues.

minor roach infestation when we first moved in, the previous owners were quite dirty and did not care much for the place. everyone spent days cleaning in order to make this place somewhat sustainable

I like it but the walls are thin so you can hear the upstairs neighbors but other than that it has been pretty nice. Also my sink has problems draining but I put in a work order so it should be fixed.

Great experience moving in! Can’t believe it’s been a month already! Definitely a very welcoming staff at the front office and the notification mail to collect the delivered package is so on point! I’m glad I made the right choice by choosing gateway for my first ever apartment experience in USA.

Great quality for the price. However, the package pickup system here is one of the major downsides. Apartment hours are10am-5:30 pm on weekdays and the apartment has to log the delivery in their system. I’ve had delayed pickups due to delivered packages not being logged in the system by the apartment after 48-72 hours of Amazon notification. I’ve had packages not get delivered all together due to last minute changes in office hour times. Don’t get hellofresh delivered. If you are unable to pickup your package between the hours of 10am and 5:30 pm, you won’t be able to pick it up until the next morning at 10am (if they log your package in time to let you know it’s ready for pickup!) your food will spoil and you will waste your money. I have to pay extra in expedited shipping to account for the delay in apartment logging if I’m going for a trip. Sometimes that still doesn’t work because you have to rely on the apartment to log your package and send you the email notification in time.

The property is well-maintained. The employees I met on the grounds before move-in were friendly and helpful. The move-in process was amazingly efficient! All personnel were on the same page and knew exactly what they were doing and from what I overheard had the information you needed if you came ill-prepared.

We have renewed our lease for a second time because of this apartments convenient location to campus, grocery stories, and Kyle field. It is comfortable and affordable. Favorite amenity would have to be the study rooms and gym!

Great location! However, some of the ammenities promised in the lease are either not present or damaged/under repair for quiet a while. Also, maintenance gives different answers depending on who you ask for what is the renters' responsibility versus the landlord.

In comparison to a lot of the lower-rent places in College Station, this isn't bad. There aren't any pests, it's pretty quiet, and the office staff are nice. Maintenance responds quickly but bigger fixes were a bit of a nightmare. I didn't have a working dishwasher for 3 months because they kept coming in and saying the water was running, when it obviously wasn't, and it took until I was at home when they came to point it out for them to admit it didn't work and they put in a new one. Our AC went out but that went a bit better; they were quick to give us window units until they could fix the central unit. Moving in I had to do as-is in order to get in more than 2 DAYS before school started, and I believe that they may give the worst-shape apartments to those who choose that option. My roommate's room had relatively new carpet and ceiling fan, where my carpet was peeling at the doorways and my fan rattled VERY loudly. Still, past the move-in, it was a good place to be for a year.

Decent experience, good amenities with quick maintenace request response. Need improvements with pest control. Hopeful for the new vendor taking care of pest control.

Late move in days. I wasn’t able to move in until the day before school starts at 2:00. Other than the super late move in, the staff is very sweet and understanding.

Had a really bad roach problem. The amenities like the pool and office were great just was not it living with the roaches. No matter how much I kept my place clean the we’re still there and continued to get worse

Gateway is located is a nice place, just the apartments near the railway may sometimes be disturbed by the noise. Staff is super helpful, Gym is having great equipments, there are 3 big study rooms (which can be booked), swimming pool is big and is clean, Volleyball courts is there but I haven't seen anyone playing, Basketball court with only on basket but its good. Maintenance service is awesome (even if its low priority they come on the next or even the same day). There's free coffee in the office during the office times. Since it is comparatively small than other apartments it is easy for them to maintain and process your request be it any much faster.

The office staff and maintenance staff are very helpful and available when you need them, and are always so nice! The property is close to campus which is a big plus, and offers good amenities for residents

It’s a convenient place to live and apartments are fairly good and spacious. Maintenance requests are answered quickly which makes living easy

I honestly love this apartment community so far I like how the staff are so sweet and helpful and how the people in the community are students who are also sweet and informative about college. I also love the amenities offered.

Customer Service was amazing! Always super helpful and kind! Pretty close to campus, so the bus ride does not take long at all! Rooms are fully furnished which is nice, and the wifi is super good! 10/10 would recommend!!
