Don't EVER EVER EVER rent from this property. Aside from the multiple incidents with an office girl, the management company is really shady and rude. I was sitting by the pool one day with my ex and daughter, when the office girl came outside yelling at me because I never talk to or look at her when I go to the gym. I guess she had a crush or something, I don't know. So I wanted a number for the corporate office, so the office manager came to my apartment apologizing and yada yada, so I let it go. She ended up getting terminated for entering peoples apartments without cause or provocation, but apparently they still do that. Thennnnn the bugs! I am a very clean person (borderline OCD), but still kept getting infestations on the top floor. Now that I have moved out, I was just informed that I owe them over 1600 for giving one month notice and not 2. When speaking to the office and getting ready to move, they never even mentioned it. Had no idea. They never sent me a notice via mail or email. I spoke to the management company to see about settling and they were extremely rude and vague. Will not tell you if or when it will hit your credit, let you settle, or work anything out. I was a very good tenant for 3 years and got treated like crap by them. And I asked where they sent the notifications and they gave me some address I have never even heard of. They suck. You will regret it, I promise!

We apologize for any unprofessional behavior from our staff; we assure you this is not acceptable and will be appropriately addressed. As well, it distresses us to hear about your issues with pests and the surprise charges after moving out, which clearly indicates a lapse in our communication that needs improvement right away. We value your feedback and will utilize it effectively so that no other tenant experiences such inconveniences thereby improving upon ourselves.
Not sure why they have such high ratings, their customer service surely sucks and their management company definitely do not perform their due diligence as should be. Extremely disappointed!
I love these apartments and their location. Office is courteous and helpful, complex is very nice and well kept. Apartments are small with not a lot of storage. Gym is not 24 hours which is frustrating. Other than that we have really enjoyed our time here.

I have lived at Gateway Cedars since day 1 of move in, their grand opening. I have enjoyed my time here and seeing it grow. We have our own work out center, great pool area, activity centers, fire pits. It is very upscale/luxurious compared to the apartments that are in Forney so it's a nice change of pace to our small town. It;s right next to the our major stores/restaurants, and the security is awesome. Staff is very helpful, you can submit maintenance requests and maintenance will come in ASAP. Parking isn't too bad, but considering that we have full buildings, it can be tough but there is always parking available. I have renewed my lease for another year (max lease term) so I look forward to continuing to living in my new home.

My wife and I moved into these apartments in June of 2015 and have been pleased ever since. The staff has been very accommodating and helpful with any issues that we have had. The apartments themselves are great and homey and the pool is heavenly! I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for an apartment close enough to activities but still in a quiet area. 5 stars all the way!

We moved into these apartments this past June and we absolutely love it, the staff is extremely friendly and very fast to fix anything we may ask about, our apartment is so nice and spacious, we are very pleased with our living experience here

The complex looks nice and had been very well designed. It offers a lot of nice amenities however it is not well managed. The ladies that run the office have not seemed to care about the issues of the residents. We pay monthly for pest control and there's an ant problem that they refuse to take care of. The have roped off my apartment twice not letting me in to my place of residence. There have been a handful of other issues and when a complaint is made nothing seems to get done and there isn't anything they are willing to do to help.
