Nestled between Highway 213 and Interstate 110, Harbor is an industrial town 20 miles south of Los Angeles and 12 miles north of coastal beaches like White Point Beach. The northern section of the neighborhood is made up of commercial developments and entertainment options including a trampoline park, bakeries, grocers, pet stores, gyms, and more. But this area is home to more than retail spaces; several offices, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants including Nordstrom Local Omni Hub, Sunrider International, FNS, Inc, and more find their home in Harbor. The other parts of the neighborhood consist of residential areas with an abundance of rental options. Apartments, condos, and a few single-family homes can be found in moderate to upscale prices.

Property Ratings at Gateway Court
Very rude, moody, and unprofessional manager. She is argumentative, talks and treats you like her subordinate. Only one maintenance guy is competent. I’ve seen roaches many times inside and outside of the apartment, someone who lived downstairs told me that he couldn’t open the window because roaches crawl into the room. Also, Silverfish are everywhere. If your neighbor cooks, you can smell it in your unit. The wall is paper thin, you can hear everything. It’s an old apartment, use the cheapest materials to fix up. Laundry machines are very old, often out of order. Not safe neighborhood, very noisy street, and lots of loud illegal fireworks. You would regret it if you moved in there, look elsewhere.
I have been here for about 5 years and I like living here very much. The manager is awesome as well as the maintenance staff. Its by far the cheapest in the area and near a great many activities. I really have no negative comments .
Very bad tempered and moody manager I’ve ever seen. She makes up her own mind and yells at us. No listening. Always angry. The room wall is also very thin and poor. Big TV sounds from the neighbor and chatting with their friends. Fedex /UPS cannot enter to deliver because the manager is out of office most all day, not doing any necessary task. Very noisy and stressful.
This apartment is so noisy - incessant ambulance siren; frequent illegal fireworks; irritable, quick-tempered, argumentative and moody onsite property manager.
Pros: clean and easy parking Cons: violation of privacy by resident manager, loud firework noises consecutively for days, unfriendly tenants who just stare at you, no one to open the door for deliveries. The resident manager asks that the delivery person contact you yet everyone’s not home during deliveries. Telecom system requires a house phone. Resident manager always rushing to the security camera if they see someone of color and automatically assume they are not a resident. Maintenance staff nosey and stand in the apartment corridors watching people come in and out.
I loved living here- the photos don't do the apartment justice. The high ceilings made my studio feel big and spacious. I also enjoyed the rooftop patio- great for evening cocktails or home workouts. The fireplace makes it extra cozy; I loved the convenience of it being electric. The complex is also super secure with a private security gaurd. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have to move.
Pros: Nice and clean, compact facility. Quite in the building. Hardly hear noise from neibours. Feels secure considering the location. Parking is easy. Cons: Close to 110 and most of major streets. Locating right next to huge hospital complex, you can hear ambulance siren all day all night long. Since our unit is closest to the Carson st., it's impossible for our 7 yr kid to have sweet dream. Neither for a person who enjoys quite day at home. Overall: very suitable to those who mostly stay outside and needs affordable apartment at convenient location.
