New manager is driving this place to trash! They don't answer phones, or emails, you have to into the office to address problems. Maintenance is a nightmare, exoect months for things to be fixed. Rents are not competitive, they are higher than surrounding complex rates.

I have lived here for a few years, and new management is terrible. Call the office, no answer almost NEVER, send an email, good luck, place a work order, ahh maybe 3 months later it will get done! Rents, too high compared to surrounding complexes! Property is well maintained, and apartments are nice, however they are the same from when they built the complex in 2012, so the sky-high rents make no sense.

I’ve lived here for 7 months and my apartments been infested with silver fish bugs this whole time even when I have pest control spray often and try store bought products to get rid of them. The walls are thin and you can hear banging around from other tenants. I also toured an apartment with hard wood floor throughout the living room and dining area and when I moved in there was carpet all throughout.

I've lived here for going on five months. i love the property and the staff. everyone is very professional, from office staff to the maintenance. this is the first complex I've ever lived in where they take pride and precautions hiring the maintenance staff. usually they're dressed sloppy, not knowledgeable of repairs and leave a mess in your apartment. here they wear a uniform, call ahead, and clean after themselves. in my apartment I very rarely hear my neighbors, not sure if thats luck. I've never seen a roach in my apartment. overall love it here!
Gateway North is the first apartment I’ve ever lived in. I had reservations because of everything I’ve heard about living in apartments with noise and safety, and I’ve never had these issues Gateway North. It’s exactly the opposite! In the two years I’ve lived here, the staff (especially Damir) always goes out of their way to help and the amenities make me feel like I’m at a resort.
I was working out in the gym and when I finished my keys were missing. I went into the clubhouse to tell the manager and he immediately looked on the camera. He saw the keys and how they were picked up. He didn't recognize the person so he sent and email to all residents. He also asked other employees if they recognizedhim. The manager and the asst manager both went all over the complex checking as well as the maintenance crew. Maintenance looked in garbages and over the grounds. They changed my locks immediately and had me call the police. When the police arrived they took a statement and the manager also sent a text to everyone. In a few minutes a nice gentleman came in with my keys. When he grabbed his bag and belongings he accidentallytook my keys. Thanks to the staff at this complex. I really appreciate all your efforts!!! Not 1 person helped me, the entire staff did!!!

I've lived here for 10 months. Yes, the complex is conveniently located and new but really that's the only benefit. These apartments are built CHEAP. The rent is just way TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get. NO Stainless steel appliances and the appliances are CHEAP. THIN walls (I can hear my neighbors TV and chit chats). NO parking at night. WEEDS everywhere. INFESTATIONS of ants. There are similar choices for apartments that are newer with better value. I will not be renewing my lease.
Starting off with location: Situated in a very good place by having places in a walk-able distance (Walmart, Wawa, Tropical smoothie, etc...). Only negative side about this is the flow of traffic at certain hours which might become quite hectic at times and the noise it comes with (being situated beside a highway). But overall it is located in a convenient spot. Second and the most important point, the price not worth what you get: Location may be great, however the building themselves are not. Throughout the years living here (2 years), I have notice many structural and functional mistakes. This would range from the location of the exhaust fans in the bathroom (placing it in a corner, which hinders it's potential a lot and makes it non-functional), to the materials used in the bathroom (which are cheap, and get damaged easily if you like to shower with hot water due to humidity and vapor build-up). In addition, the noise insulation is very inferior compared to other places that I have lived in the past, very paper thin walls and ceiling. You can hear your neighbors on your side, above you, and sometimes even below you as well. Now going to the price, it is not worth it, even with the location added. The main factor here is that the bathroom does not have premium materials like the kitchen (still has a very cheaply made back-splash and no stainless steel appliances). I would expect good granite counters and cabinets resistant to water like many other apartments have for the same price and have the same location level, if not better. Parking is a nightmare, they need to implement a much better system to make resident able to park closer to their buildings. These are some factors I have noticed over the time living here. Finally service, This will be divided by the two categories: - Main Office: Good. Like every place, you have good and bad people. But overall, they are good at getting work done when you go and notify them. - Service People: I call these the annoying to deal people. Submitting a ticket can take a toll depending who comes to diagnose and resolve the issue. The explanation behind this is because some will not fix it a shame you with the blame (meaning say it is your fault and you have to pay for it even if it qualifies as basic wear&tear or just stuff that is common sense). They need to be consistent. I have talked to many friends and neighbors that live here and all say the same to me about the service.
The only great thing I can say about this place after living here for 3 years is that the office staff minus the Manager are good, always smiling and look forward to making sure they resolve anything and everything with a smile. That's the good! Here is the BAD...The most disappointing thing about living here is the fact that the walls are so thin. I can hear ALL my neighbor’s daily routines. This is certainly not my neighbors fault but the cheap insulation and build quality of the complex. The build quality of this place is very poor and cheap. No granite counter tops in bathrooms, no stainless steel appliances, stained non stainless steel bathroom fixtures and low quality appliances. Landscaping has gone down the drain here too. There is a lot of dead plants that haven't been replaced in over a year and there is mulch debris constantly on the sidewalks. Pest control is overall good and the complex is constantly treating the grounds which is nice but I've had many ant infestations and a continuous issue with silverfish. This place is certainly not worth the monthly rent!
I lived here in 2016, and this place is one of my favorite apts i have ever lived in. Quiet, clean, maintenance was fantastic and the office staff was great. Shelby was always fantastic help if ever i needed her. Parking did become a tad of a hassle for those of us that worked night shifts, but nothing else to gripe about. Unfortunately, I had to moved based on the price of the apt I needed. I needed to upgrade from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom and the price here was outside of my budget. Worth it, but not conducive to my living. Recommend to anybody!
Gorgeous apartments, good location. Close to lots of amenities, others within a quick drive. It is very quiet and gated. Leasing staff is Awesome! We have a lot of community events too. Maintenance Is great. I couldn't ask for a nicer place to live. Everyone wants to come to my place now! You truly get what you pay for!
One year new, Gateway North, is clean, comfortable, and convenient. A few units here are yet to be lived in (we got one)!! The units are large, up-to-date, and sophisticated. The area couldn't be any more convenient. Walmart, Cheddars, Tropical Smoothies, Moes, and several others are within walking distance. Roosevelt, Ulmerton, 49th, Bayside Bridge, 19, and Tampa, Largo, Ckearwater, and St. Petersburg are minutes away. The beaches as well and you can even trolley to Clearwater Beach. The amenities are comparable to all the higher end apartments and though I'd like to see a pool table, poker table, and tennis courts; the monthly rates are worth the void. The cleanliness, convenience, and newness cannot be beat. We moved here after a horrible experience in a Greystar luxury apartment complex in St. Pete and couldn't be happier. If you're looking for modern, clean, quiet, comfort, and convenience, you've found it.
Love the look of the area. The apartments are spacious. I absolutely love the kitchen. The pool looks amazing. There is many parking spaces to park. It is really nice that there is a car wash area. This is a lovely home, i really enjoy living here so far.
