Dear User, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value your feedback and look forward to seeing you again soon! We look forward to providing you with more great experiences in the near future. It was a pleasure to serve you.
This review is for management, location and price is reasonable and I would’ve given 5 stars if they didn’t drop the ball so many times. Firstly I had my car stolen in front of my apartment the first week I moved in. No condolences from them or any help with camera footage. I took over a lease and wanted to resign and they said we couldn’t because I took over for the primary lease holder so we moved apartments. I wanted to look at the apartment before we agreed but they said we couldn’t and promised it was EXACTLY the same. Even though it was the same floor plan, the new place had no drawers in the kitchen and the washer and dryer in the kitchen which I had to use as a prep table. Also it’s above the maintenance unit and I hear them EVERY morning yelling and banging. Not to mention half this building burned down so there’s been construction rebuilding that side all year. They have a guest apartment you can rent for friends and family which I booked two months in advance and paid for, but when I went to get the keys they said someone was in there. The people in the leasing office looked at me like I had two heads! When I went back in to get reimbursed they said it was already credited (which it was not). Bottom line is rent anywhere else if you would like to be treated decently and competently. I would give them zero stars if possible.

Hi Michael, thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that you are moving out feeling like we dropped the ball on items during your residency. We were and still are sorry to hear that your car was stolen; we offered condolences and provided as much assistance as we could during the process. We are very transparent with the lease add on process and what can/cannot be done; we conduct multiple conversations with the original lease holder and communicate the process to each incoming resident during the application/lease signing process. You are correct that you chose to transfer to an apartment on the opposite end of the building where a fire occurred, the construction would have been ongoing prior to your transfer and we would have happily discussed other locations on property before the lease was signed and after you were shown where your new home location was. I'm glad you rented our guest suite during your time here, we love being able to offer that to residents and their guests! I do see where there was a credit on your account in July of this year, the charge for that rental is not on your ledger; this means the credit was used towards your rent on the following month. I'm happy to provide the ledger that shows this $200 being used towards August. Please email us if you'd like the ledger again or if you have any additional feedback/questions about anything. Again we're sorry to hear that your residency was not ideal but we're happy that your roommate has chosen to stay and renew with us. We wish you luck in your new home!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! In my time at Gazebo (two years) I have never been more disappointed in my life. While I lived there: Multiple apartments were burglarized, there was a persistent problem with peeping toms exposing themselves to residents, multiple cars were burglarized and stolen, a building burnt down and residents were not properly supported, my apartment was infested with mold, the gate was almost always broken, someone pulled a gun at the pool, someone in the facebook group reported and attempted kidnapping, a man was taking sneaky photos of women at the pool, friends apartments had roaches and brown recluses, and there was constant unnerving activity in the parking lots. Residents (myself included) had repeatedly begged for management to take measures to make us feel safer: Adding cameras in public areas, putting motion lights in the dark corners of the backyards, etc. Those requests were always written off with some excuse that they tried to frame as if they were protecting our privacy. Less important, but still annoying: the water was regularly shut off for hours at a time with little to no notice, the apartment complex being built next door was a blasting zone that would shake my floor regularly, and I could hear every word of my neighbors' conversations. This apartment portrays itself as a luxury living space, but in reality my safety and peace of mind was regularly threatened. I wouldn't live here for ANY COST - much less for the outrageous price they make you pay. Check the date on any positive reviews you read; they're probably old or Freeman Webb employees. When the current management took over, this place went completely downhill. They do not care about you and they won't even really pretend to.
This is the first negative review I've left on any business ever but it was too ridiculous to ignore. 2/1 Tuesday: I realize my internet is out. I figure it's an AT&T issue. I make the nearest appointment for Saturday. 2/5 Saturday: AT&T guy says the problem has to be in the apartment under me. Well that apartment is being renovated by GAZEBO and is vacant. I go to the office and wait for the one employee to return from a tour. The AT&T guy and I get the key for the vacant apartment and find the wire has been cut clean by the renovators and left there. Great. AT&T guy just needs access to the crawlspace underneath and we can start the repair. The Gazebo employee tells me this is "not considered an emergency" and refuses to tell maintenance to unlock the crawlspace. I'm forced to reschedule for the next available time slot per AT&T which is 4 days later. At this point I am now 5 days out of work and paying for internet I'm not getting because of Gazebo. Next appointment is Wednesday. 2/8 Tuesday: I tell the Gazebo employee that the time slot for AT&T is now 4-8p.m. for Wednesday. That's the only time available so it is what it is and we need access to the crawlspace and the VACANT apartment under me. They tell me if the AT&T guy shows up after 5:30 then I'll have to reschedule because that's when they close. (Is this still not an emergency?) At this point I am now 7 days out if work and paying for internet I'm not getting. 2/9 Wednesday: AT&T guy shows up early at 4p.m. thankfully. I call the office and speak to the same employee I've been dealing with. She seems annoyed that I mention he is here now and yes we DO NEED someone to come down here and unlock this apartment that has nothing to do with me. Repair and rewiring gets underway finally. I get a call from her at 5:15p.m. asking for an ETA on his repair because they close at 5:30. Yes. I'M being asked when the AT&T employee is going to be done fixing Gazebo's problem because nobody wants to arrange a way to stay late to fix an emergency. Lucky for them he finished soon after that. Frankly it's not my concern how long he takes so I don't know why I'm being asked or pestered about it. If their schedule is so specific to fix issues then they should schedule their own appointments to repair things in apartments they are renovating. I'm out 8 days of work and part of an internet bill because this wasn't considered their problem.
This place is great! They helped me get settled before I even got to town. Elaine especially but the entire front offices hospitality has made it extremely easy and comfortable for me to move across the country on my own. They even hooked up a couple of pizzas for me knowing people are tired after moving day :). I do wish I had a fireplace, but the amenities, the beauty, and community spirit more than makes up for it. Oh! And it’s close to EVERYTHING!!

Wow, thank you so much for the kind review. Have a wonderful day. - Sully, Gazebo Manager
My husband and I have lived here for almost 3yrs, and honestly, it's been great. There have been a few safety concerns within the past year, though it seems management is doing its best to address them timely and effectively. For the location and amenities, you can't beat the price. Anytime I've needed to speak with management, they have been incredibly helpful and the maintenance team is unmatched. They respond to every request within 24hrs and are SO polite. We've loved getting to know them over the years. If you're looking for a place to live in Nashville without giving half an arm away, Gazebo is great.

Thank you so much for the great review! We hope we continue to exceed your expectations and we appreciate great residents like you & your husband!
My apartment had roaches & I filed SEVERAL maintenance requests. Sometimes it would take an entire week just to have someone come spray & the problem didn’t go away. I moved when my lease was up. Spoke to several people in the office about this and was not offered any remedy to the situation. Do not recommend living there.
I lived at Gazebo from Jan 2015-May 2021. Overall, I had a positive experience during my time here and would be open to living here again. Pros - Conveniently located to interstates (especially 24) - Well maintained landscaping - has a bit of a park-like feel - Three pools and a new fitness center - Maintenance is quick to address issues (often within 24 hours, even if not an emergency) and a maintenance request can be put in at any time online on the resident portal - Payment can be made online by connecting your checking account without paying additional fees - My A/C was out when I came home from being out of town one year in June or July. It was awful, but they came that evening to set up a portable unit in the bedroom - the rest of the apartment was super hot (probably 95), but the bedroom was cool enough to sleep in until they were able to replace the unit (I can't remember if it was the next day or the day after, but it was definitely not longer than that) - Reasonably priced for the location and amenities/upkeep Cons - There were several times one or more of the laundry rooms was down (including once for over a month), and there was never any notification of that. - A hole developed in the lining of my tub - it wasn't a big issue for me because of where it was located, but I think it was causing water issues for the apartment below. Maintenance came to do a temporary repair on it without notice (which wasn't a huge deal. The issue came about a month later when they came to replace the tub. I wasn't home, wasn't notified anyone was coming, and the things I had in and around my tub/shower were thrown on the ground outside my bathroom including the shower rod and curtain. It also left an incredibly strong smell for multiple days. The lack of notice (for the permanent repair - I get that they needed to show up for the temporary repair which was minimally invasive) combined with the disregard for my things was highly upsetting. Nothing was really done other than to tell me that shouldn't have happened. I was also unable to use the shower for 24 hours after the repair and was offered no solution for this. - This is not at all the fault of anyone at Gazebo, but the mail carriers who deliver here (and I think it was a few different people in my time here) are poor at best. - I could often hear the people below me (but not beside me) - Enough people don't follow the rules surrounding pets that it was an irritation at times.
lived here for 2 years and dealt with cockroaches in both of my units. management did nothing to help. literally a nightmare. also way overpriced
I have had a wonderful experience with Gazebo during my stay here while in college! It was conveniently located to Belmont, only 15 minutes away, and it was reasonably priced. Everyone at this complex is super nice and welcoming! My leasing agent (Aubrey) was SUPER helpful throughout the entire process of looking at apartments, applying, and moving in! The few maintenance issues have been addressed extremely quickly! Would recommend Gazebo in a heartbeat!
This place will act friendly and welcoming when you first move in. They will try to squeeze you out of every penny they can when you are moving out. Please take pictures when you first move in because they will blame you for damages you did NOT cause. I've never seen place that turns into monster when you are moving out. I would really advise anyone to look other places instead of Gazebo.

Thank you for taking your time to leave a review. I am so glad you found the staff to be friendly and welcoming throughout your residency. Although we do our best to limit any type of move-out charges, if there are excessive damages to the apartment home that go well beyond general wear and tear, the resident would be responsible for damages. Our staff does conduct an in-person move-in walk through with each resident the day that they pick-up keys. We are also available to conduct move-out inspections with our residents as well as taking pictures for documentation. I wish you all the best of luck in your new home! -Josie, Leasing Manager
Sadly to say this apartment experience has been nothing less than completely disappointing. We've had management explain to us that this complex environment was musician friendly and is open to practicing within a specific time frame, however, we quickly learned that is not the case. Management has been extremely rude and gave us incorrect information upon our original move in date, which was pushed back twice due to their errors. Every time I call the office it is as though I am a "problematic renter".

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that you have felt disappointed in any way with your living experience thus far. Although we love for residents to feel at home in their apartment, it is policy that noise, cannot expand to other nearby apartment homes and/or common areas. As much as we want you be happy and fully utilizing your home here, we also want to show that same mutual courtesy to your neighbors. Our goal is to always provide outstanding service and I am happy to personally meet with you in regards to your experience. I am thankful for your residency and would love to make the remainder of your time here amazing! -Josie, Leasing Manager
Gazebo has just built a new gym with tons of strength and cardio machines. Three pools, a dog park, and beautiful landscaping makes this complex top notch!

Thank you so much for your awesome review; we're so excited to have so many incredible amenities here at Gazebo, and even more excited to have awesome residents like you! ;) -Kyle, Marketing Director
Moved in here at the end of July. I LOVE it. The staff is great, the amenities are awesome, and I don’t ever have a problem with my neighbors all around in my building... they all seem pretty nice. I love the location and there’s a Kroger with a gas station not too far. It’s a perfect commute to downtown and to Brentwood and La Vergne, which is where my roommate and I live. We haven’t had many issues with our apartment and the ones we did have, got fixed the next day after we put in a request. 10/10 would recommend

I am so happy that I chose to make a home at Gazebo Apartments. They were very accommodative to my boyfriend and I, which means a lot as a young couple straight out of school! I loved sitting poolside working from home this summer and getting in for a relaxing swim as well. We have lived here about three months now and have had very few minor issues that the staff was quick to assist with! It is comforting to know that Gazebo is such a safe, gated community with so many resources and amenities to enjoy. Our new puppy sure is thankful for the mini dog park in the facility and all of the spacious walking paths. It was very reassuring to know that adopting a puppy would not change our lifestyle in our new home-- everything we need for the pup is right here! The location has been ideal for a short commute to each of our workplaces and the price for the location really can't be beat!

I currently live at Gazebo Apartments and I have no major complaints. The units are a little older so that does bring about a few maintenance issues but the front office has been very diligent on making sure maintenance takes care of my requests. Josie in the office is AMAZING. Everyone else is also really nice and welcoming. For the location, price, and quality, I couldn't ask for a better place to rent in Nashville.

Do not believe the good reviews - they give you gift cards if you fill out a good review. The leasing office gives you misleading information and contradicts what is in the lease. Also, there have been peeping toms and car break ins.
I have been living at the Gazebo Apartments for almost a year, and will most certainly NOT be renewing my lease. Initially, I had only minor issues - screaming neighbors and a wasp nest on my deck that maintenance did nothing about. However, a pest issue arose that I have now been dealing with for 2 months. Again, maintenance was unresponsive. I then contacted management about the issue, and was told that maintenance would again be sent to check it out. A week later I was told that maintenance could not due anything about the issue, and they would need to get an external contractor which could take a few weeks. Even after the contractor came out, the pest issue has continued. Numerous attempts have been made to speak with different members of management and maintenance, and I have not received any promising responses. I was even told at one point that there was nothing that could be done, and this is a common issue...very concerning. Overall, management has shown little to no concern for me as a resident. Horrible experience and very disappointing.
I've been living in the Gazebo Apartments for a year and a half. I have had a fantastic experience. I have a ~730 sq.ft. 1 bedroom apartment. I have had no issues with any appliances or bugs. My neighbors are peaceful and I always have a parking spot next to my building regardless of when i come home. The best part of the Gazebo has to be the 3 pools. At least one pool will have people playing music having fun if you are looking for that vibe and then another pool will be have residents quietly lounging and reading. You can always find a spot for a summer hang out. Gazebo has been putting a lot of effort into planting trees, adding to the landscaping and improving lighting. It was a great touch and its gives the entire neighborhood a homely feel. Only reason I am leaving is because I am moving in with my fiancee and we need more space for our, well...her, stuff. I highly recommend the Gazebo to anyone looking a comfortable and affordable place to live.

I've only been here a few months and am already collecting boxes so I can move the second my lease is up. My advise if you absolutely must live here is to get everything in writing. I mean, literally everything. Don't talk to them on the phone other than to say "hello, I just sent an email, please respond there." They lie and they don't return phone calls. Have a paper trail for everything. Trust me on this one. I recently found out about serious criminal activity in the complex ON THE NIGHTLY NEWS, not from the management. It was on the news 4 nights ago and still not a peep out of the management as to what is going on or what they are doing about it. So, buy pepper spray and keep it with you at all times. The security gates are a complete joke. Everyone and their dead grandmother has a code to get in apparently and they are wide open every day from 7 am on anyway so really it's just a ridiculous nuisance, not a form of security. Oh and if a window falls out of its tracks onto your head while you are sleeping and sends you to urgent care do not expect them to 1. care, or 2. Fix the window. Buy a very, very good plunger.
The location is nice for these apartments and the 3 pools is too, but when it comes down to the quality of the apartments(which is most important) they are terrible. The structures and foundation of the buildings are 40 years old and you can tell immediately. The floors are so cheap and thin, you can hear every step the neighbor above you takes. The floors in the apartment above mine crack like they are being hit with a hammer every time the person above me takes a step. Every single morning (I wish I was exaggerating) I am woken up to the person above me simply getting out of bed. So you better be on the same sleep schedule as them. I thought i would get used to it and all but not even the slightest. I know 5 other people that live at Gazebo and they all complain about the same exact noises that I hear and are all moving out. You can hear phone conversations through the ceiling. I have lived here only a year and am moving out the second my lease ends. I contacted the management about getting this fixed in July 2016 and they didn't have someone come out to try and "repair" it until December 2016. Management then told me that it had been fixed, but when I came back, there was no difference at all. Their solution to my problem was to give me $200 off for one month and not return emails about the problem anymore. This apartment complex wants you to sign for one year and get all they can form you in that time, then if you move, you move. Most interior items are bought at the cheapest price. My wall receptacles are so cheap that plugs just fall out of the wall. They just wont stay in. Then after all of the problems we had, they wanted me to resign and increase my rent by more than $100 for the next year. If you like over paying for terrible quality apartments, this is the place for you. I never write reviews for anything, but Gazebo has dealt with me so poorly, I dont want other to make the same mistake.
I know these are just words on the internet but I beg you to heed my advice - DO NOT RENT FROM HERE UNLESS YOU CAN GET A TOP FLOOR UNIT. Hearing your neighbors' footsteps above you is one thing but here you will literally feel them. My entire apartment shakes when they walk around like there's a moderate earthquake in progress. It's enough to jolt even the deepest sleeper wide awake. My neighbors routinely stay up well past 2 am and I've lost countless of hours of sleep as a result. After living here 6 months I've gained nearly 20 lbs and have gone to the ER twice for heart palpitations. All due to a lack of uninterupted sleep and the resulting stress. I've tried everything - industrial earplugs, over the ear headphones, sound machines, ect. Nothing can block out this type of disturbance. It's hard for me to imagine but I can kinda see how this place might not be that bad if you have a top floor unit. The grounds are nice, it's reasonably safe, the ammenities are decent. At least once a month there's a free community event with free food and drinks, if that's your thing. But seriously, top floor unit only.

Wow, reading these reviews makes me laugh. The gazebos are HORRIBLE... Being my first apartment experience I gave them a little slack. But after living her for a month I was so fed up with having to call the office 24/7 (and when called at night because of a party above me I was rudely called back saying "what? You woke me up) ummm I'm sorry, isn't this your job?? Anyways, my roommates and I were newbes to the whole apartment thing and the office quickly picked up on that. They showed us a renovated apartment which was very nice. They told us we will be getting a new one all fixed up, that didn't happen. The day of move in they called me saying our apartment wasn't ready and they needed another day. I then told them that I am coming today and it better be ready because I already drove 8 hours to get here. Believe it or not we were lied to and didn't not get a renovated apartment and they wouldn't let us switch. Our windows had bugs crawling in them showers with mold, drawers that wouldn't stay on the track (it gets super annoying having to fix it every time) water leaks and so much more. The office staff can be nice when they want to be. They have no idea what they are doing. We needed something down that cost money and someone told us $25 to walk in to find out that it was $50. The "kid" looked at us and laughed and said "sorry". Until they can train their staff properly I will never recommend them and keep writing bad reviews....

This apartment is great for anyone like me who wants to live within Nashville without going broke. Yes you can find cheaper but they will not be as nice and you will not have free resident events twice a month. The grounds are beautifully kept and the maintenance staff is quick to help. The one bedroom units are very roomy and have a huge walk in closet. The only downside is not having a washer dryer hookup but there are multiple laundry rooms on site. It is located within 15 minutes of just about anything you want to see or do in Nashville from downtown to the Grand Ole Opry. This is a great place and I'm lucky I found it!
I live in my apartment with my 9 yr old dachshund Lilly. I love my new home. It was recently renovated with new appliances, fixtures etc. I have two bedrooms and one and a half baths. I live on the bottom level.I love the community I live in.The rent is high here but I feel safe and I know the good Lord is taking care of us. I have lived at the Gazebo apts for 10 years and lived in three different apt!!
Gazebo apartments are great. They are easy to deal with and have an over all great environment. The apartments are really nice and newly renovated. My roommates and I can't wait to spend this school year staying at the Gazebo.
My apartment complex is very clean and well kept. There are multiple pools, tennis courts and other activities. The complex has numerous community events each month and it is a very community oriented place to live that maintains a great balance with your privacy.
I have lived in the Gazebo Apartments for about 8 months now. What initially drew me in was the close proximity to downtown (about 10 minutes) and the affordable rent. The office staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful and they always make me feel like more than just another resident. I'm in my 20s and there are many other residents around my age which is nice. There are all ages that live here, however, and I feel that there are no issues with that. Gazebo offers multiple pools, tennis courts, an organic garden, a laundry room, is pet friendly, has a recently updated gym amongst other amenities. Most of the apartments are updated with new appliances as well. The office staff puts on great events every month for the residents to enjoy such as free pizza, breakfast, movie nights, wine nights, music, etc. These are great ways to meet the other residents. Gazebo is a gated apartment complex and there's often a police car that sits near the front gate at night which makes me feel a lot safer. If you are looking for a great apartment complex in a convenient location to town but don't want to pay the hefty price tag of the places downtown, Gazebo is definitely a great option!
