Wrapped around Lake Jackson and Carr Lake, Northwest Tallahassee is the ideal location for those searching for Florida's natural side. Northwest Tallahassee provides mature oak trees covered in moss, palm trees, lakes and waterways, and park space. This neighborhood is for those wanting to slow things down, just a bit -- a neighborhood with plenty of open spaces. It's also convenient, located directly north of I-10 and sitting just five miles north of Downtown Tallahassee. Northwest Tallahassee is home to the Lake Jackson Mounds Archeological State Park, J. Lee Vause Park, and part of Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park.

Property Ratings at Georgetown Apartments
I have rented quite a few apartments throughout my 5 years of stay in Tallahassee. Living in Georgetown has been my best experience so far. As a graduate student at FSU living with room-mates, you literally get the best deal for the buck. The rent is reasonable, the rooms are spacious, the location is great, for instance, very close to Lake Ella and Publix and most importantly, the staff members are very prompt at responding to maintenance requests. I would recommend Georgetown to anyone on a budget and still looking for a great place to rent in Tallahassee.
I have lived in a Georgetown townhouse for the past two years while attending FSU, and I could not have dreamed of a better first-time rental experience! I loved the floor plan, size, and reasonable cost of rent. My neighbors were quiet, and I felt very safe, even when coming home late at night. The location is incredibly convenient--Publix is basically across the street, the post office around the corner, Lake Ella within walking distance, and FSU just over 2 miles away. One of the reasons I chose to live at Georgetown is that they obviously care about their property--they do not try to get away with as little as possible. I have been impressed by their initiative to maintain and improve the property since I have been there--the longer I lived there, the more I enjoyed it. Whenever I have had a problem or complaint, the office was very responsive and respectful to my needs and provided rapid solutions.
Georgetown is a steal for any young professional who is starting a career in Tallahassee, especially for those who prefer to live alone! It is very reasonably priced for the amount of space (2 bedrooms) and is right in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood. Very close to some of the best bars and restaurants if you are the type who likes to explore local establishments. It is also very close to my work, so I do not have to spend too much time commuting between my home and my job. In addition, Georgetown is a very quiet neighborhood for those who are not looking to live near the college scene. In the almost two years that I have lived here, I have always felt safe, never had any safety issues. The staff are also incredibly helpful and always friendly, and are very quick with their responses to any maintenance issues. Can't think of any reason I'd move yet!
