Georgetown Park Apartments

Georgetown Apartments has been a great first apartment for my fiance and I. I've been here for 5 years, and I appreciate the spacious apartment (albeit not updated), the affordable rent, the balcony, and the carport. The roads and sidewalks are kept generally clean in the winter, and maintenance is usually quick-ish to respond to service requests. Honestly the downside is not having an updated apartment (my kitchen and bathroom cabinets are from 1985!), and the neighbors themselves do not follow their lease agreements. The amount of people who smoke weed inside their apartments (which leaks into the hallway), the number of smokers who stand right outside our balcony to smoke instead of 100 feet away from the building, and the amount of rude, inconsiderate people who insist on having yelling matches at night have been the biggest headache of them all.

Staff was very helpful with move in. At the time of move in they were transitioning to a new owner which made somethings different. (I had to apply twice). Such as signing lease. Only communication was through email and apartment visits. LEASING COULD CALL ME BUT THEY COULD NOT ANSWER. I'm still waiting on 5 service request to be completed. I really like my apartment neighbors are quiet and very helpful. I feel safe at location. The hallways at my apartment complex can be cleaned more often. No apartment complex is perfect. I'm satisfied so far.

Great place and very friendly employees thar are always willi.ng to help. The property is taken care of very well. I feel like this is definitely home for me.

I love it here but wish maintenance requests were taken care of faster. I usually wait 2 weeks & have to call office at least twice the check on status.

I really enjoy the peacefulness of my apartment and how close it is to everything Fenton has to offer! Neighbors are friendly but pretty much keep to themselves, and noise is not an issue in my building. The grounds are also well maintained.

Very quiet community. Buildings are showing their age and could use some renovations, but repairs are done really quick. Overall great place to live.

I do my best to make my apartment a home, despite cabinets falling, counter with water damage, and cracked door frames. These are all minor things. But since living here (it's been 2.5 years) I've need a new dryer and I new washer due to the age of the ones I had and they stopped working. The first to go was my dryer, it took 2 months for me to get a replacement dryer. No updates, no return calls, and lots and lots of trips to the laundromat. The second appliance was my washer, this took FOUR MONTHS before I got a replacement washer. I have spend so much money and time at the laundromat. My rental agreement says appliances are included, I didn't get a single penny off my rent each month while waiting for my appliances to be replaced. My dishwasher is now rusting and falling apart on the inside, but they won't replace it until it stops working completely. I wonder how long it'll take for them to replace that.

I love my apartment. On the few occasions when something needed service, the staff responded quickly and the problem was solved. My neighbors are mostly quiet,. The only drawback is that the rent was increased enough to make life complicated, but that's probably the case everywhere.

Repair request are ignored have been waiting over 3 months for repair. Paying for garbage when the town of fenton drops off their own garbage

I love my place and the area is excellent, no noise, they are always on top of the outside looks. They are very professional when it comes to getting any information.

My husband and I have lived here for almost two years now and we LOVE our apartment. We have only had positive interactions with staff and maintenance people. Move in day was fantastic. I have extremely high standards for what I consider to be clean and it was in great condition. Our in-unit dryer and dishwasher were not working when we moved in. Staff was very communicative about the oversight and responded immediately to our maintenance requests and had them fixed within the week! The maintenance team is a delight: very kind, professional, and gets the job done. All the work orders we have submitted since move in day have been responded to and dealt with in a very timely manner. I am always given a follow up call letting me know when they plan to complete the work order. The the dog poop problem is very real. Some of the dog owners are disrespectful and just don’t pick up after their dogs, leaving piles of poop everywhere. There is a constant ripe smell whenever we walk to our cars.

Paying $20/month for the buildings to be cleaned, but they are RARELY cleaned gives a bad experience. Paying a $31 "convenience" fee just to pay rent online gives a bad experience. The process to use the washers/dryers gives a bad experience. Taking 18 months to fix my air conditioning gives a bad experience. I could continue with a list of things. It seems bad experiences are far out weighing the positive experiences the longer I live here.

Very quit, very well maintained, up kept, leasing office staff is very friendly. Quit environment Very respectful neighbors. No problems was there when you call if you need something

Maintenance response needs to be much shorter than current time. I’ve had to call to get items repaired after I submitted a request. Overall happy with living here. Wish the rent was less.

The only problem we have living here is there is not enough outdoor and parking lot lighting. I don't feel safe on the community grounds at night.

I have been here for almost 4 years and have had no issues. The office has always been kind and very helpful and maintenance has been very good at fixing things that need attention. Its peaceful and quiet and I have had only minor issues with neighbors that the management has addressed at once. The only thing that I didn't like was the different rent prices and the big jumps in rent. Being on a fixed income this has made it hard.

Living here has been best for myself and my son. My neighbors are kind! My son gets to play outside in the little park there is, he enjoys it alot.

When we moved into Georgetown it was a 4/5 star rating. It is now a 1 star rating. It has taken long periods of time to get maintained orders completed. They are typically completed once we have called and emailed multiple times about it. The leasing office is not open on Saturdays in spite of the new owners letter stating that they will be. There are multiple phone numbers for Georgetown and none of them will get you to the leasing office.

Overall living here has been ok. I’ve been here 10 years with no improvement to my apartment. Hopefully the new management will do some improvements.

Pretty good overall but communication with office isn't always the best or quickest. Hopefully this all gets works out with the new system they have in place though.

I have lived here for several years and so have my neighbors, quite, peaceful place to live, walking, kids playing, the pool, workout area, dog area country setting with deer walking around.

mostly ok. newer tannates that move in are very noisy and I was told I was being put in a quiet apartment when I moved in due to my medical conditions. Responses from staff are poor. I have many requests for maintenance that have gone un answered or completed. I have had to do some of them work myself after waiting a long time. Others, like the hall light, took 6 months to fix. overall poor

It’s been an affordable place for the space we receive in the apartment. Pretty quite complex. Staff is friendly. Have been a resident since 2020. The biggest disappointment is maintenance issues going unresolved for years that have been brought up multiple times, like the washer leaking water and mold forming on the floor/behind the washer in the 1200 building on the first floor. This has happened since I’ve moved in and mentioned multiple times. We still use the washer and just deal with it. But I am not sure why it’s gone unresolved for so long. We’ve done a back and forth with the laundry company verses Georgetown maintenance and no one wants to take responsibility. My personal opinion is it’s a drainage issue as the washer works just fine. Water comes out where the tubing is connected to drain outside of the washer. I gave up trying to ask for it to get fixed. Of note, maintenance has been very responsive to anything I’ve needed done inside my apartment.

Friendly and helpful staff, a compassionate office group, by far my favorite apartment I’ve ever lived in. If your animal happens to get loose they will get a hold of you and help you recover your furbaby. Never had any issues with anyone.

Love it here! Have never had any major issues in the 5 years I have lived here. Always felt safe. There was some maintenance issues that took longer than expected due to short staff that I completely understand, but everything was fixed eventually. Hopefully the new management company will look to improve certain amenities though, especially the common area Washer and Dryers. The process is kind of annoying. You have to go into the website to add funds, but then you have to go to the clubhouse to add that amount to card. Wish everything was just through an app as the machine or cards don't always work. Also hoping for some sort of flex pay option for rent. That would be a blessing.

Very old apartments. Probably place a maintenance request at least once or twice a month which, will take forever to be repaired. The team is kind, but they make things very difficult. Poor communication

I love living at Georgetown Parkway Apartments, laundry on every floor, specious floor layout, 2 bathrooms what a bonus!!! Office staff is easy to work with, pool was amazing over the summer.

Staff is friendly. Maintenance can take along time. Hallways and laundry room takes awhile to be cleaned. My building is usually quiet. Overall it's a nice place to live

Waiting for something to get fixed is insane. Shouldn't have to wait 2 to 3 months for a toilet to get fixed or a dishwasher to be drained. Staff is friendly and nice otherwise.

Maintenance is slow unless its an emergency, but the community feels safe. Location is great, right next to US23. Just recently changed management companies so hopefully some updates to the property.

Tina in sales was very pleasant and helpful. Move in was easy. I think there could be a little room for improvement in the apartment. Carpet and cabinets could do with an upgrade, landscaping, and look of community could be spruced up a bit but overall decent apartment.

Great loving experience. The staff is very kind and the community is great! The maintenance staff is exceptional and get back to you in a timely manner.

Brandi has been very helpful in the transition of ownership over the complex. Being they are very busy right now, she took the time to help me with my several problems.

Cheap place to live. Stuff breaks and they don’t fix it. But it’s ok for what you pay in today’s market. Could be better could be a lot worse

I enjoy living at Georgetown Park Apartments the best thing for me is the spacing in between apartments, I can’t hear my neighbors. They allow animals, water is a set price. They have many layouts to choose from, quite & clean hallways. Various ages lives in this community and for the most part everyone is friendly and respectful of each other. The only downsize is the lack of storage for things like bikes and Christmas decor etc…. I was not very fond of the leasing agent however the leasing process was smooth. I would recommend this apartment complex.

Move in day was absolutely thrilling and such a great experience so far! Love being able to be in my own space with my roommate. Definitely excited for future endeavors

You already know my rating. It took me a year to get my shower fixed. It's been 3 months and I still can't get my toilet fixed. People parking in two spots. There's your rating.

Neighbors are really nice and friendly. However, the particular building I live in has major plumbing issues and mold. At one period of time, the maintenance team was easy to get to fix issues, but lately it had not been. The rent is too high for these issues.

So far Georgetown parkway apartments is really nice. Friendly staff and friendly neighborhood. They have a nice park with a grill for picnics.

Overall has been a nice experience thus far. The staff are very responsive and kind. Unfortunately, any maintenance request that I have submitted to date has not been completed.

It’s affordable but a lot of the buildings are outdated. And the park needs to be upgraded half of it is broken which is a hazard to the kids.

I really enjoy my apartment.. it’s very quiet and pleasant. My neighbors are beautiful and very friendly.. I definitely know that I have chosen the right place.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for a little over a year. We haven't had many issues other than the leasing office. For the longest time, you couldn't get through to a live person. We requested a new pool card and they said they didn't have any more but yet we pay for the maintenance on it. We couldn't use the pool all summer. Half of the equipment in the "gym" is broken. Doggy poop bags are always out. The grounds look nothing like how they are advertised.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, we love Georgetown. Maintenance takes forever, so I have deducted a star for that, but other than that, we couldn't be happier.

Georgetown is really nice for the price! Only flaw is you can count on your dishwasher not working and electrical problems through the apt. Other then that the place is great I just wish maintenance was a better and the amenities were updated

Hallways and doorways rarely cleaned and vacuumed. Work orders are slow to be fixed. They do a great job and friendly when they get here. Quiet atmosphere, enjoy that

Very friendly office staff and maintenance performs work orders in a timely manner. Very quite complex and clean. Very nice large apartment. Alot of stores in the surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice buildings, friendly people, good for the price. Maintenance can be a little slow and sometimes it feels like pulling teeth for some maintenance issues, but other times they are very quick and effective.

It’s a nice community and has a lot of potential but there is a lot of work that these apartments still need, it takes a long time for the staff to get back to us about things especially maintenance and the garbage is always building up and the buildings that have a indoor entrance needs cleaning over all I like the apartments those are just a few cons.
