Fort Thomas is a small suburban city on the bank of the Ohio River, practically within sight of Cincinnati’s Central Business District. Most of the city’s landscape is filled by residential neighborhoods, with lush greenspaces like Highland Hills Park and Highland Country Club augmenting the scenery.
A small Downtown district along Fort Thomas Avenue provides residents with a great area to hang out amid the town’s historic buildings, with coffee shops, restaurants, and cozy neighborhood taverns operating out of the area’s vintage storefronts. Boasting exceptional public schools and a very low crime rate, Fort Thomas is a terrific option for folks raising families.

Property Ratings at Gettysburg Square
when i lived there i could hear neighbors conversations. they were not even yelling. i worked nights. maintenance just came right on in in the day whenever there was an “emergency”. i had to put an extra lock on my door. the balconies are not private as stated in the listing. i lived on cemetery dr ones. the front bottom units of 42 always flooded.
After living here through 2 year long leases, I have many complaints. Pros: Lots of grassy areas Dog park Safe location Cons: They spend more on the lawn care than updating the apartments. Photos on here might look updated but most units have appliances that leak or broken. Your dog isn’t allowed to bark INSIDE of your apartment or you’ll be threatened with eviction. Windows and sliding doors leaking air and causing mold. (Management is finally getting around to replacing windows after I’ve placed several complaints because I have an infant) Allow 3rd parties to enter apartments while tenants aren’t there. (one time i WAS home and caught someone putting a key in my door after i had asked them to give me a second to get my dog calmed down) Don’t even bother placing a complaint on a noisy neighbor because nothing will happen. Currently have water damage from the upstairs neighbors and they still haven’t bothered to come look at it. Also have an ant problem but they only sent “pest control” to spray outside, not inside the apartment. All in all, if you have no issue with the things mentioned, go ahead and live here. In my honest opinion this place is not worth the money you’re paying.
I have been here for about 4 years I guess. I've had to call the police several times for noise, fights and drunk neighbors. Not really the apartment complex's fault but they should be filtering these people better. Complex is known to let 3rd parties into apartments without notification to the resident. Prices are far to high for what you get. They spend more money on the bushes/grass than upgrading the appliances, plumbing and other things. Stayed here because it was on my son's bus route for school. Might be an ok place to stay for a year...but don't plan on making it somewhere you stay very long. Look around for something else. The only thing good about it is the location, but its not worth the other things you will have to suffer through.
In a nice neighborhood and close to Cincinnati. I'm within 5- 15 minutes to work, movies, shopping and so much more in the area.
