Property Ratings at Glacier Vista Apartments
These apartments are great! We lived there for 3 years and moved only because we out grew it. If you’re considering an apartment, you can not go wrong at Glacier Vista. You’ll have your own washer and dryer, rare in apartments in Redmond. Any repair needs were addresssd quickly and reasonably by the manger; who was great to work with too!
Being new in Central Oregon, I was very worried about locating a new apartment home. Once I found Glacier Vista, I was really pleased. They appear to be the newest and had great lease rates! The manager was very welcoming and coming from California, that was a rare treat. Each apartment here has a washer & dryer and a private patio area. Really makes a big difference when I work a lot (way too much). Can't wait for the warmer weather so that I can relax and hang on these great grounds with the new friends I have already made here. Count me in for a lease renewal!
If you don't own a lot of stuff they are fine but not worth the rent. No playground or anything at all. No extra storage in the apartment but as a two bed goes like I said if you don't have much it works.
Glacier Vista is a beautiful, well kept 3 story apartment complex! My husband and I moved into a ground floor one bedroom apartment here in September of 2014. The location is great, within walking distance of a shopping center with a grocer, a couple places to eat and best of all a Starbucks! It is also within walking distance of Redmond Highschool. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, though there is a bit of road noise since our windows face the street. Our apartment is wheelchair accessible, with wide sliding doors and a large shower, but units upstairs have normally sized doorways and tubs. The apartments have so much charm, and with the addition of some tall stools the bar dividing the living room and kitchen is the best for entertaining guests! The closet space in the one bedroom is pretty tight, but with a little squeezing and a dresser it works for 2 people. The manager Cece is just a sweetheart! Each time we meet with her is pleasant, and she is quick to address problems. Due to the lack of fenced areas or play equipment this complex isn't ideal for small children, but I have known neighbors who make it work. Glacier Vista is nicer by far than any other apartments of a similarly low price available in Redmond, and I would 100% recommend it. Come check it out!
Looking out of our second story, single bedroom apartment helps me realise how lucky we are to here at Glacier Vista Apartments. Me and my new wife have been here for almost a year now. We met two years ago. We were 18 and looking for a place to call our own. I am so glad we got into our home. My wife Lindsey and I have had this home for half of our lives together. We were married while living here, we have both had a birthday here now, and life has blessed us with a place like this. When we saw Glacier Vista, we thought that there was no way we would be able to afford, or even be eligible for, the apartments. We were amazed at the property, price, and personnel. After scouring Redmond for another apartment, and coming up short every time, seeing glacier vista's location and selection was an answer to our prayer. Once we went through the minimal paperwork and signed up on the contract, we were able to move in within three days of our apartment opening up. We moved in and slept in the apartment the same day. My wife's first words were; "This is our home." Quiet, respectful, mature people live here at glacier vista. Our neighbor's are, for the most part, are kind and appreciative to be where we all are. Any issues we have had have been taken care of quickly and professionally, any questions that we have are answered with complete honesty. Management is considerate and transparent, and they pride themselves on valuing the needs and concerns of their tenants. They have proven that to us. The layout of out single bed single bath incorporates a flow thought the house, sensible placement of outlets, lights galore, and plenty of windows. Perfect for just starting out. Complete with a dishwasher, washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator, and microwave you have everything you need Right in the apartment. Privacy in the home, and complete independence of collaborative facilities. Having both an upstairs and downstairs neighbor will have noises from them at times. For the most part, we don't even notice them. And when there is an issue, no one has been irrational about the issue. Respect of others is very important to all the tenants of Glacier Vista. We have seen every season here at glacier vista, winter is cold, summer is hot, but neither gets too extreme, these building hold up marvelously in summer and winter. Glacier Vista provided when we needed a home most, life gets hard, but Glacier Visa has provided us a home we can truly call our own.
I love living at Glacier Vista. The management staff is awesome! Our one bedroom apartment is very cozy with mountain views! Everything I could possibly want in location to major attractions and shopping. There are plenty of places for dining and family get togethers. I would recommend this apartment for young and elderly couples who don't need much space and enjoy the outdoors.
