Been here since August and was promised a unit with a washer and dryer. Still don’t have one:( AC leaks and the heat has gone out twice now. But the price and size of the apartment semi makes up for it
So far living here has been nice. People are sweet. There are a lot of interesting dogs to watch. People coming and going for work. The parking lot is a little scary because people drive too fast.

My best guess is there are more residents than the management is equipped to handle. When we moved in, they had forgotten to clean our apartment and there were used cu-tips, dirt, and goo littering the apartment. Since then, I'm afraid things have only gotten worse. Despite paying for it and submitting multiple maintenance requests, we had no AC for 3 cumulative months at the hottest time of the year, and now our heat is not working. It is currently 52 degrees in our unit. I have spent countless hours fighting for basic services that were promised as a part of our lease. Save your money, time, sanity, and health, and avoid this place.
Unfortunately my experience has not been great ?? There were several items reported at move in that still have not been addressed. All of which were reported including pictures. I chose Glen at Lakewood for several reasons but in the top 5 were the washer and dryer. I told management that was not negotiable. My washer ceased to function on 9/30/2024 and despite my many attempts to encourage management to expedite I still don’t have my washer. I just keep getting passive email responses and no resolution. We pay an exorbitant amount in rent and fees. Where is the return on our tenant investment? Extremely disappointing and disheartening. Thank you.
This property needs work and is unpleasant to live in. The management company values new residents but doesn't value it's existing residents. There are many other nice places to leave in this area.

I love the location of the Glen at Lakewood. The pool is really nice in the summer time. I think it is amazing that the staff host leasing office parties for residents.

Maintance Work Order. I personally requested to be notified by text or phone call for a ETA or notification before entering my apartment. Maintenance entered my apartment WITHOUT notification. I was in the bathroom - not dressed. I had to lock my bathroom door. I cant believe they invaded my home WITHOUT A DAY AND TIME WINDOW, SO I COULD BE PREPARED FOR MAINTENANCE ENTERED MY HOME!!!!
We have the BEST neighbors! He saw us moving a sectional out of our apartment and offered to help us get it out so we could move a new sectional into our apartment. So nice and very much appreciated help!
Moving here was absolutely the best decision I have made this year!! Crystal and her staff made sure everything was perfect.. from the application process all the way till after my move in.. It's a very nice place but it seems like there is a lot of maintenance to be done and it takes a few weeks for maintenance to come fix things.

Pro’s: Very spacious living room, master bedroom is good sized (2 bed/2 bath), new carpet in bedrooms, new lock on front door, nice layout overall. Con’s: Glue keeps seeping out from between the vinyl flooring planks in the kitchen, trash on the floor consisting of the old lock, quite a bit of screws in each room, and broken silverware as well as a glass pot pipe and one of the kitchen cabinet doors was painted shut. Master bath is pretty small, building 3 has seen better days.

Getting keys was a breeze. A few things were not working when we moved in which was a bummer. But management seems to be on top of it to get stuff fixed. Just annoyed someone didn't do a thorough walk through prior to us moving in so we wouldn't have to send a bunch of work orders on day 1

I absolutely love the place. Love the staff. Loce the location. The only frustration I have is having to pay $40 a month for a washer and dryer since November 2023 and they still haven't been installed. So basically we have now paid $440 dollars for literally nothing WHILE having to spend money at a laundromat too so it's so frustrating wasting 100s of dollars that could be much better used on food and gas in today's society.

We love how much space we have in our unit, and that it is dog and cat friendly. The in unit washer and dryer are a huge plus, as is the balcony and large windows. The biggest downside is that maintenance is horrible and we’ve had air conditioning problems every single summer we’ve been here. We have both an upstairs unit and a downstairs unit and not once in the four summers we’ve been here have both units been functional without issue at the same time and more often than not, both are broken. Maintenance takes weeks to months to get out to see you and 80% of the time the person who comes doesn’t know how to fix it. They say they’ll have someone who knows what they’re doing come out same day or next day but not once in all the times we’ve been told that has anyone ever returned. If you want something done you have to email management, and usually more than once. Last summer our downstairs unit wasn’t turned on until July 31st and the upstairs didn’t work at all the entire summer.

I absolutely love my apartment in Lakewood, Colorado! The location is perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the amenities I need. Probably the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in. Management is terrible and nothing ever gets fixed. They are rude and unprofessional at any given time. They will also lie about getting a washer and dryer while none of the facilities work
The management can do better I have never been so confused living in an environment 11 months in with no mailbox key, all mails keeps getting returned coz they thought the apt is empty
We had been searching for an apartment since June- we legitimately thought we were gonna go with somewhere else but glen took such great care of us it was a last minute decision and we love our apartment so much there’s so much space
Apartment seems to be well sound insulated and community is quiet, which is a plus in my opinion. Have yet to use the pool facilities, but the gym is convenient.
It took over a week for maintenance to fix the A/C and it was 86 degrees during that time. The parking situation is a disaster. I like that the apartment is close to 6th and it is easy to get to Denver or around the city.
I have really enjoyed the warm welcome to the community. I am looking forward to using the amenities. The neighborhood does not seem to be too noisy.

Double check the EXACT apartment you are moving into. I signed a lease for an apartment and the day I was going to move in, the apartment i signed a lease for was not ready due what they said was the floors not being ready. I still moved into the complex. The unit i moved into the carpets were not cleaned and I was missing a washing machine. I have been here for over two months and i have been told I was going to get a new washing machine but now they are currently waiting on parts to fix an old washing machine to install in my unit. There are no working laundry facilities onsite and when you try to bring it to the offices attention they tell you that they are managed through a third party. I simply cleaned my carpets with my own carpet cleaner and removed countless stains that were in the carpets when i moved in. There are plumbing issues. They do not fix maintenance issues when you submit them through the website, they simply cancel them and you will have to reach out to the manager and hope that your e mail doesn't fall into the e mails that "go to spam with the overwhelming amount I receive some days". When i moved in they were issuing parking passes and everyone in the line waiting was complaing about the multiple issues that they have had in the complex. When you ask Crystal for the contact for Corperate she states that there isnt one and she will reach out for you. Please dont make the same mistake read the comments and be aware of the management of this complex.

So far the experience has been a good one. There seems to be plenty of parking and the complex is pretty quiet during the work week. The area is really nice with shopping and food really close by and quick access to the highway.

This is the worst place i have ever lived. i signed an 18 month lease and each month has been worse than the last. The maintenance team is incompetent and the leasing office is filled with liars who don’t care about your experience at all.

It hasn't been horrible but it also hasn't been great. We went without heat for a few days when it was cold, now we have no air conditioning or heat. There have been lots of things management has said they are going to do to improve things but so far none of it has been done. I get that they need approval but don't tell us things are going to get done until they are actually going to get done. Have also had some neighbor issues that I'm not happy about but nothing horrible. The one plus that we really like is that the rooms in our apartment are huge & the office staff is really nice. Overall, this has been an alright place to live.

Nothing gets done with maintenence, we'll not without a year going by. Grounds look like crap, it is like the staff does not care. Priderock just ignores any complaint sent. Only good thing is that I can afford it, but the lower price is definitely reflective.

We haven’t had heat for over a week and temperatures outside are under 40. We called the “emergency” number and still no heat. Worst management I have ever had the joy of interacting with. Save yourself the hassle and never live here.

If you are thinking of moving here, please go walk around the complex first! The grounds are filed with trash, broken glass, dog poop and cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. Even though we paid a $60 Common Area Maintenance fee every month as well as other hidden fees that you find out about while reading the lease. I had to call the leasing agent 10+ times just while reading the lease since there were so many hidden fees never mentioned to us. If you have a washer and dryer in your unit, prepare to pay an extra $40 fee for that! &don't expect the dryer to work at all! We were on "the list" for a new dryer since we moved in and never got a replacement or even a maintenance person to look at it to try to fix it. There are dead branches that people just throw off their balconies and the maintenance people just pile them up and leave them for MONTHS (a huge fire hazard). The office staff is the most inconsiderate, unapologetic, and unhelpful group that I've ever dealt with. NO ONE answers emails or workorder requests. The only time anyone ever came into our apt to fix something was w/o notifying us. We were at work and OUR DOG WAS LOOSE! They have no care or respect for residents they just push you off the phone to get rid of you! When summer started, our AC didn’t work. We reached out to Carmen (manager at the time) &she didn’t apologize or let us know an estimate on when it would get fixed- She only responded with a link to the Colorado laws that AC is a privilege!? I have never EVER been as neglected and disrespected as I have by this management company. After moving out, they kept our deposit and even tried to charge us more ON TOP of the deposit they kept. For the issues with the apartment that we notified them about when we moved in and they assured us we wouldn’t be charged for it. Do not trust this company! When I called Pride Rock (the management company), the operator took my info down & said someone would reach out but of course, that didn’t happen! The only decent thing about this place is that they have started to fire some of the bad employees including the manager that made many promises that were not fulfilled by the new management. Make sure to document EVERYTHING! Every conversation, issue, agreement, etc..! They will screw you, unless you have hard evidence of it! Crystal (the new manager) is very nice on the phone which is an improvement and I appreciated it but she couldn’t actually do anything to help so it didn’t make much of a difference.

Worst management ever. Maintenance requests that are ignored. I haven't had A/C all last summer.. leaked all over my carpet and eventually just stopped all together. They still charged me for it.. never fixed it just waited and switch it to heat. Also told them about the mold it had created/was already there..that was ignored...Dryer has been broken for over 2 months..still charged for it.. and when I asked about these issues the management team was extremely rude, made excuses, and even told me they lost my key and were unable to get into my apartment. I also had my apartment broken into (by another resident) and when I told the property manager, she laughed in my face. Disrespectful, rude, pure negligence. The list goes on.. Reading other reviews, it seems like im not the only one who has had these issues.. and thats only from the people who spent the time to write one..cant imagine how many other residents had similar experiences but didnt leave a review. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I have lived here one month. The renting process should have been an indication of what I was getting into. The manager and assistant manager are rude. They changed my apartment 3 times. When you try to discuss anything with them it is nothing but excuses or it is your fault. As stated in other reviews fire tinder that could go up with a flick of a cigarette. Branches obviously have been there for a long time. The grounds are filthy. Lights out everywhere to include the entrances which can’t be seen at night. Put in a list of items needing repair. It has been 13 days and was told my issues will be addressed in the order it was received. Perhaps they need more maintenance people. I was told the only way they know if lights are out is if residents report it. Can’t they have someone walk around at night and replace the multiple lights that are out? My front door doesn’t shut but this isn’t an emergency. Dog park is full of poop. This is one the management and pet owners. There are many other apartment complexes around this one. They look inviting, lights are on and they look much cleaner. Thank God I only have a six month lease. Can’t wait to hear what they say when I do a walk through when we move out.

We'll be hitting 3 months with a leaking shower head, broken dryer, and really just a list of issues. We have spoken to the office in person as they filled out a work order but no progress or acknowledgement, I've called and they don't answer, I went on the portal 2 weeks ago to request maintenance and still no acknowledgement or progress. Maybe if I write this review they'll get back to me. Who knows at this point. Terrible experience...

If I could leave NO stars I would. If you are thinking of moving here, get out of your car first and walk around the complex without office staff. Here is a list of why you should NOT move here: The grounds are filthy. (Even though we pay a $60 fee over the rent and other things for "common Area Maintenance" There are dead branches that have been piled up against buildings and have dried out to become fire tinder. (Especially the ones under the balconies of people with propane tank barbecues. The office staff is the rudest I have ever met. I know others who received really nice communications from their Apt Managers that addressed the CoVid 19 issues and asked how they could help those in need. We got an email with a copy of the Governor's executive order and nothing else. Carmen is mean and does not care about issues that people face. NO ONE answers email or work tickets with anything other than nasty emails. It is in your lease that Marijuana is NOT allowed anywhere on the property and that use of it can lead to eviction. Don't think this will keep you from having to get high without smoking. They will tell you that they really can't enforce it and there's nothing they can do. Maintenance....well....good luck getting anything fixed... I've lived here through other owners and PrideRock is the worst. They don't give you anything to be proud of at all.

Never live here. Management has and always will be garbage. No communication with residents on anything. Been waiting over a month for some repairs to be finished or even addressed. Major ones including leaks in the roof and windows, that are leaking into my lights and fan. I will be contacting a lawyer about this place. And I do not care that there was a recent change in ownership! The buyer is made aware of all problems with a purchase as large as an apartment complex. Other horrible things about this place include kids screaming and running into the street, paper thin walls so you can hear all the couples argue and your neighbors band practice until midnight, and residents that smoke constantly and inside their apartments so it seeps into yours. The new leasing company is worse than the old one and I did not think that was possible. -Update Thankfully moving out in a month! I have been waiting since November for a new dryer or my current one to be fixed. Talked to an office assistant about it once and she blamed it on corporate. If you are a current resident, I would highly suggest getting a lawyer to help you out. I have one that will be overseeing my move out to make sure this horrible place does not charge me anymore for their ineptitude. I have several outstanding maintenance requests that are still unfulfilled.

We just decided to extend our lease here at the Glen. My family and I love it here but we looked around to see what other options there were. Together, we decided that the Glen offers the most for your money and provides a beautiful home and community for us. A big part of the decision was the team up front. They are always there for us and they maintain such a beautiful complex for us. We are in the Aspen unit, which is perfect for us, but they have many other options too that we looked at again to be sure. It's perfect size for our family! There is a beautiful pool and social area for the summers, and a great gym and fire pit for the winter. We are surrounded by parks while very close to the highways. RRCC is super close for our son which is convenient. Just wanted to share our opinion and experience. Thanks

If I could do zero stars, I would. This company took over a few months ago. They are completely incompetent in the office. I have paid my rent online for years and as soon as this company takes over it does not work and they refuse to help you because they want you to pay the late payment. When calling they hang up on you and if you go into the office to get things resolved they will make you wait for much longer than needed in hopes that you get frustrated and leave. Office workers are rude and do not care about customer service. The apartments are fine, nothing special, and overpriced. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are plenty of other apartments that cost the same or cheaper for much more than you get here. We will be moving as soon as our lease is over. I do not recommend anyone to live with this company.

I just moved in and wanted to say what an awesome experience so far. The team in the office made everything so easy. The community is beautiful and it's so peaceful walking around. My apartment is great, I fell in love with the layout when I toured it. I work nearby and the location is perfect. I'm looking forward to meeting some other residents and taking advantage of the great amenities. The office team mentioned they're planning many improvements as they had just purchased the property. Three examples of their miscommunication costing me additional money: 1) Multiple times, I was quoted what I would consider to be a reasonable "Monthly Rent Amount." However, the day of the move-in I am told about additional utilities and maintenance fees. Additional cost ~200.00 per month 2) I very clearly asked about the cost difference of the month-to-month rent vs. any lease break fees for having to break a year-long lease. I was told that the cost of breaking the lease would be 1500.00. When I subsequently notify the leasing office that I will be moving out and breaking the lease. For the first time I am told that not only is there a lease break fee but I also have to pay back any move-in concessions INCLUDING the amount of rent that was discounted FOR EACH MONTH. Additional cost of this miscommunication ~2200.00 3) As this is my last month renting here, I kindly asked the leasing office what my total amount owed this month is with my rent and the lease break fees. I was told that I will receive a final invoice when I move out. Today I came home to a lovely "Demand for Payment" for April's rent along with late fees and notice posting fees. When I went to the leasing office to inquire about this, I was told that the person that answered my question before "surely meant that I should pay this month's rent as normal and not worry about just the lease break fee." This would be a reasonable interpretation of her email had I not sent the email asking for a TOTAL amount with the rent in the first place. I asked for a total amount due and was given an amount that was not the total and told to wait for a final invoice upon moving out. Additional cost of this miscommunication ~140.00 Any one of these situations might have been understandable but having their misinformation cost me additional money every time I communicated with the leasing office seems intentional. Each time I pointed out that I was told something different than what I was being asked to pay they were quick to point out how I "should" have interpreted what I was told before. I believe that I have a firm grasp of the English language and don't often misunderstand what I am told by people that don't work for Westhills so it does seem like the issue is on their end. Many of the apartments have problems, even upon move-in. Office staff has an extremely high turnover rate, and as such, many issues take a long time to resolve and communication with management can be difficult. They haven't hired nearly enough maintenance people for a property this size, so many work orders are either ignored, or take weeks to be addressed.
