Property Ratings at Glen Cove
We moved in Glen cove and we were helped by Stacey And she was helpful and made our transition smoothe and simple. The property is very clean and has made a lot of changes. I’m glad we moved here.
I’ve been living in this apartment complex a little over a year now & I was contemplating on renewing my lease, until a new management came along and completely changed my mind. The renovated apartments are beautiful and the new office staff is amazing; You can count on Stacy and Marci to make you feel welcomed here. I’ve only had minor problems with my apartment while living here, but Frank or Craig (Maintenance) always respond quickly and will fix it in no time.
Glen Cove is a very nice place to live. The property is under new management and the office staff is always willing to help. The maintenance crew continuously works to keep the landscape clean and the lead maintenance man is always walking the property to ensure everything is as it should be. The apartments are being rehabbed and they are beautiful. Neighbors are nice.
The manager is a nightmare and very unfriendly. She is unattentive and when you call in a complaint or maintenance issue she never follows through for repairs. The areas are not well lit at night and there have been several robberies.on the property however management never notifies the residents. It is a drug infested complex and the apts have mold issues that get painted over. Dog poop is everywhere and it stinks. Possums, cats, coons, etc run wild. The staiwells are dangerous and rickety with cement steps cracked and breaking. It is a horrible place to live and some areas literally stink. The sidewalks are broken and standing water makes it impossible to walk on sidewalks when it rains. Rest assured you will be harassed to no end for rent even though you get no repairs and the hot water is rarely luke warm.
Property Manager at Glen Cove, Responded To This Review
I am very sorry that you feel that you feel the way you do about Glen Cove Apartment Homes. The property is undergoing rehab and there are many things that need to be addressed. The staff live on site with their children and they feel that it is a safe environment for their children. As far as maintenance requests we address them all in a timely manner. I don't agree that the property is drug infested and that it stinks. I have never seen possums, coons or cats running wild. I live on site myself and I surely would not live in a property that is dangerous and not clean and I don't think that the staff would live here as well if that were the issue. You seem to be very upset at someone or something. Why don't you contact the office and let us make things right with you?
They take forever to fix anything but they want their rent on time, you pay your rent on time and they tow cars after cars, they paint over stains on the tub and lease out the apartments like everything is new, some of the mailboxes are open so some mail just be sitting around in the mailbox for anyone to take and the surveillance cameras don't even work, one of the maintenance men told me that
These apartments should be condemned. They were a lost minute decision. I needed to move fast after the death of my love one .
